Clothing and style: Escapes having to wear the awful Ouran girls' uniform because the martial-arts students are permitted to wear their club uniforms on days when they have practice. Jishin makes sure she practices every day!
When she's not in uniform, she tends to prefer loose, comfortable, casual clothing that doesn't take much fuss. She's often up to her elbows in either engine grease or kitchen grease, so wash-and-wear is her go-to.
Personality
Likes: Tanks! Martial arts, fixing things, making things, books, cooking, and all kinds of games.
Dislikes: Being bored, being laughed at, most movies, rap music, math class (she has a boring teacher)
Strengths: Unbridled enthusiasm and (almost) limitless energy. Able to take an idea and run with it. Exuberantly friendly.
Weaknesses: Enthusiastic about everything and therefore focused on nothing -- not a master of any single thing. Physical but not actually gifted in that regard -- she needs to practice hard at everything. Impatient and emotionally fiery.
Fears: Being unable to make friends, or losing the friends she has made. Disappointing her parents.
Strange Gestures and Obsessions: Adores dumplings and goes out of her way to try new ones whenever she gets the opportunity. Loves cute little miniature toys and collects them.
Overall Personality:
Bright, cheerful, loud, and very very friendly. Enthusiastic about everything and wants to share. Blunt, to the point, and suitably gifted with common sense, which is rather uncommon at Ouran.
Social Life
History: Jishin's father is a general in the JGDF. He doesn't talk about what he does, and she doesn't ask. He's away frequently on business. Her mother is a stay-at-home mom, which Jishin greatly appreciated growing up. Her family comes from a long line of military leadership throughout the various branches, most notably admiralty on her mother's side for two generations (great-great grandfather and grandfather), generalship on her father's for four generations running. She has a younger brother (Jun), who is in middle school in Osaka. She decided to transfer to Ouran in high school for the connections and the prestige. It's her first year here, so while she knows the people in her class well enough, she's still getting to know everyone else.
Hobbies: Sensha-do: the art of tank warfare. Ask her about it and she'll talk your ear off, and try to get you to join her team. Because it's FUN! Hand in hand with that is mechanics; the tank she's assigned to is a Tiger P, which needs all the help it can get. When she's not elbow-deep in engine grease, she likes to read, cook, go for walks, and visit the aquarium.
Special Skills: Skilled with tank commanding, small unit commanding, and general mechanics, loading, and firing tank weaponry, due to her hobby. As a member of the Girl Scouts of Japan, she is educated in camping, wilderness lore, basic first-aid, and many other small handy skills.
Primary School, Middle School, and Extra-School Activities: In and out of several martial arts dojos as a little kid, she finally found her love of armor at the end of middle school. She's done all sorts of things because she gets easily bored, so you may find her doodling, sewing, or even puttering around with the garden club if that's happened. Very easy to involve her in activities of most kinds.
