Students and Recruits may volunteer during their Summer vacation to be counselors over at Murmuring Pines Psychic Summer Camp. In doing so, they will take one of the cots in the main lodge (or commute between their dorm room and the camp but that's like a three mile low speed drive back and forth, do you really want to subject yourself to that every morning and evening?), help keep track of campers, help campers with their abilities and lessons, and generally hang around and be friendly. Student Counselors may float between campers, choose to mentor a single camper, or ask to be assigned to a camper by staff. This is an excellent way to help others earn their PSI Points as well as get some extra yourself!
There is a monetary reward for Student Counselors in the form of arrowheads and PSI Points:
The official sign up period, and the only time in which rewards may be earned for this volunteer work, are the months of June, July, and August. However, for the sake of roleplay and interaction between campers and students, you may use Student Counseling any time of the year. You will still get PSI Points as usual but the monetary rewards do not qualify unless specifically signed up for during the Summer months.

- ▪ Signing up and completing one counseling action yields 1 psi point & 50 arrowheads.
▪ Consistent counselor activity throughout the Summer (three months) will be rewarded with 3 psi points & 500 arrowheads
▪ There are no rewards if you sign up and fail to perform any counseling actions.
