➧ WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DON'T PASS
- Basic Braining, Marksmanship, Levitation, and Advanced Braining are all necessary courses for any growing psychic; the first three are taught at Murmuring Pines, while Advanced Braining is taught at Majesco Academy. In the event a student has not attended camp, or they did not earn their merit badges for successfully completing the courses, they will need to complete a class called Crash Course that runs them through the fundamentals of Basic Braining, Marksmanship, and Levitation combined before they are able to participate in Advanced Braining. Basic Braining must be completed before Marksmanship or Levitation may be taught. No powers taught in these classes may be used without completing the course.
All mandatory classes are held within an instructor's mental world. As such, the mechanics and appearance of each class differ wildly. Basic and Advanced Braining are taught by Carmen Ortega, Marksmanship by Kaspar Faust, Levitation by Miss Nightshade, and Crash Course by Mona Sinclair. In the event of requiring substitutes, Dean Bianca Spektor or Counselor Hugh Monroe will cover a given lesson.
Mandatory Classes are held by staff and must be scheduled privately or in groups here.
➧ UNIQUE CLASSES
- Courses are available for every unique psi-power, ensuring that no child gets left behind in their studies or skills. In terms of stage growth, it may sometimes be necessary to earn a merit badge or medal in one unique power course in order to rank up. Of course, you could be an overachiever and try to get the merit badges or medals for all of your powers. What a cute little teacher's pet you'd be (and a skilled one at that!). If you want to upgrade your unique abilities, you will need to pass their courses.
Each unique class is taught by a different member of staff, not necessarily the main instructors. As every person on faculty has different strengths, weaknesses, and abilities just like their students and campers, so all staff govern over different skill sets. To avoid danger or various mishaps, unique power courses are also taught within a faculty member's mental world. These classes are much more straight forward and simple than mandatory courses, and will be passed once a psychic shows clear understanding of the mechanics of their ability.
Report to Instructor Ortega if you are studying Shields.
Instructor Faust covers Invisibility, Telekinesis, Intuition, Precognition, and Astral Projection.
Miss Nightshade teaches Aura Reading, Psychometry, Scrying, Clairvoyance and Umbrakinesis.
Instructor Sinclair will teach you Pyrokinesis, Hypnosis, Confusion, and Clairaudience.
Nurse Lacey can teach you Electrokinesis and Mind Over Body.
Counselor Monroe will help you with Empathy, Chlorokinesis, and every Kinesis not covered by other faculty.
Find Doolittle to learn Animal Telepathy or take a Pet Power Fundamentals class.

➧ SCHOLASTIC CLASSES
- Majesco also functions as a private school for non-psychic instruction. All of your basic Maths, Language, History, and Social Studies are covered here, ensuring that your students can attend Majesco all year round without impacting their academic learning. This also means that they'll never have to worry about being in an environment where their powers malfunction around non-psychics while attending school. Classes are divided up between the current faculty but are overseen by Dean Spektor and Instructor Faust, with an array of electives and extracurricular activities like student clubs.
These classes are implied. If you want to roleplay with these classes as a setting or reference them in solos, you do NOT need staff present. However, if you wish to include a staff character then please discuss the events with a staff member first to ensure proper characterization and protocol.
