Misa has always been smaller in structure ever since she was little and would often times be babied because of it. She hated it. Her parents were killed in the breach of the outer wall. Not only were her parents killed but the leash they had on her was also broken as well. They didn't want their little girl going into the army just to prove she's strong but now that they died she enlisted to show others that she's strong and to kill the titan that had eaten her parents.
