The day was pleasantly cold. The sun shinning in the sky. A light breeze playing is the air. A lovely day really. It had started Ku in a very good and bold mood. A mood that she makes her do things she later regrets. Like today. She had woken up and thought how nice some strawberries would be. The only problem was there were none near were she lived. None at all! So being in the bold mood she was she decided to go out to find them knowing it would take about a day to get even get to where they grow. But she thought nothing of it. No big deal! She felt so sure of herself that she even left Aki in the clearing so she could enjoy the alone time.
Now half of the day was gone and she still had half of the journey to go and she was regretting the design more then anything. How could she leave her clearing and go so far? How could so go with out Aki! She was alone. No defenses. If some strange Soquili decided she would be a fun person to chat up then leave in disdain she could do nothing to stop it! But she couldn't go home. No. If she did what was the point? She still wanted said strawberries. And if she went home empty handed she'd get a scolding from Aki. Oh what should she do? Suck it up and just hope she doesn't come across anyone thats what she should do!
So thats what shes doing. Going to the area the strawberries are made while hoping she doesn't get hurt by a wandering soquili.

Yikwatin had been trying to find a place to settle in for the evening, seeing as most of the day had passed now, and he knew the sun would be setting in a couple hours. He sauntered lazily, his mind lost in thought. The chill air was nice, it was a change from the place he had last been. The place he had been recently had been much colder than this, though he had still enjoyed it, and he had learned a lot on that part of his travels. He was almost ready to go home, but someone he had met in passing had mentioned this area to him, and he thought why not go and see what it's like. The kirin was fond of travelling, and he liked to learn new things. He wondered if he would find anything special on this voyage.
He had come to a place where there were few trees, with large open fields and clearings, and there was a mix of scents about the breeze. He caught a faint scent of another of his kind, and also the slightest sweetness that he couldn't easily determine whether it was flowers, or possibly berries. He didn't know which was closer, if either were, but his tail swayed anxiously as he sniffed, his muzzle to the air, and then paused. He glanced about contemplatively, unsure of what to do next. Though it crossed his mind for a moment he may look silly just standing there, clearly pondering very deeply, it didn't fully register, and he continued to just stand there for a moment.Moon_Princess_Yuki Sorry this took me forever, I didn't see your pm! Closed eyes a deep breath she moves forward. Even with her decision to keep going forward to keep moving the squeeze in her heart, the fear, doesn't fade. She breaths out and moves forward. She always forgets when she's comfortable and safe in her own clearing the anxiety that comes when walking in an open space. Without the comfortable wait of Aki sitting on her shoulder. When she walked forward just a little more and got the courage to open up her eyes to see where was on the path to the strawberries. And instead of just seeing endless trees and grass she saw a single young stallion standing in her path. She squeaked and lowered her head taking quick shallow breaths. He wasn't facing her, he hadn't seen her and she hadn't seen his face. She was fine. She was the pounding in her chest would fade. The quickening of her breath would slow. She just needed to calm down. He wasn't a threat he wouldn't give her any more reason to fear faces. So she breathed but stayed where she was as she thought. What should she do? Go around him? That'd be rude. He'd get made and yell if she was rude. She could just stand there. But would that be rude? she didn't know. maybe he was deep in thought. If she bugged him when he was thinking she would surely be yelled at. So she just stood there head down paralyzed by anxiety. Waiting for him to walk away or yeah walk away. Please walk away.Sarei Stargazer it's cool I was wondering if that was it. Um tho can you put his cert in your first post for stat reasons?

The brightly patterned kirin shook his head and as his mane settled, he picked up the scent of his kin again, much closer and easier to determine this time. He glanced about before him and couldn't seem to spot anything, and as he slowly turned to look behind him, he was surprised of his gaze to come across another of his kind, indeed: a very brightly patterned mare, although she was mostly pink. What a lovely sight, he thought. Yikwatin was shy as well though, and he instantly felt a strange feeling in his gut. He couldn't help but to feel nervous around new acquaintances, it was just how he was. He lifted his head a bit to get a better look at the mare, and then turned the rest of his body toward her. She had obviously noticed him, because she stood stock still, looking either very confused, or as though she was trying to hide from him or something, which was obviously impossible in the middle of a field. Yikwatin decided there was no harm in saying hello, she looked relatively if not completely harmless.
"H-hi there!?" he called out to her, a mix of questioning and excitement. He swished his tail happily and began to take a step toward her, but then decided it might be better if he just left her to her space, and if she felt so inclined to respond to him then perhaps they could move closer. He didn't see this going in a negative direction, necessarily, but it was fair to give others plenty of space, especially if they looked nervous, such as this mare did.

Kuu relaxed a little when she heard him move. Thinking he was moving away. But then he wasn't. And his body was facing hers and she was scared and her heart pounded and she didn't know what to do. And she felt like the silent anticipation wore on forever. But then he spoke. And she jolted. She wanted to turn away and leave. But she didn't she just looked down and prepared herself to say hello. Cause she should be polite right? He seemed like a nice enough soquili. He hasn't shouted at her yet. So it'd be fine. She'd get threw this conversation and be none the worse for wear. So still looking down and away from his face, her forlocks properly protecting her eyes from seeing him. She meekly said "He- hello kind sir." Thats fine right? No need for her to say anymore right now right? Yeah so she stood and waited to see what he'd do next.
