Daniel ~ Father of Angels


Along with his fellow gods and goddesses, Daniel helped to create the world from the Darkness, bringing Light to illuminate the world. He brought forth the angels, having them bring forth the good in the world and help those without powers of their own to help protect them. Seeing the looks of Samael's Children, he banished them to the shadows, unable to stand the sight of them. The other Light gods agreed and helped him, leaving their own creations to roam as they pleased.

Later, Daniel had a meeting a young human woman who asked of him a child, as she herself was barren and wanted to know the joys of motherhood. He agreed to help, on the condition the woman was to bring his Zealot into the world through her womb. Not long after Samael's own Zealot was created, Daniel then started using his daughter as a go between to help keep peace among most of the other beings in the world once she was sixteen. Rayvyn is his pride, though she tends to listen to both sides and doesn't always follow his advice, though lately they have become demands of his wayward child, but despite that, he loves her and lends her his powers as she needs when Light is at stake. He might see his own flesh and blood as a means to an end, doing whatever he sees as necessary to ensure that Light remains the ruling power, but he does have times when he reverts to the man who loved his children and all things considered good.
But, after attempting to destroy a dark tome that his Zealot happened across within his own Hall's Library, he started changing, turning more cruel and selfish when it comes to matters of personal regard among his own family. He started suppressing Rayvyn, and allowing Fala, his last surviving daughter after Rayvyn, more freedom, switching the roles he himself had imposed years ago.

My Story, if You're Interested:
Rayvyn was born to a barren human woman and took the mantel of Zealot of Daniel, raised away from her father until she was old enough and able to fly. She does what her father wishes for the most part, yet has a curiosity for the Dark, and has dabbled in it, using it to increase her powers, though her father's will comes first. At least, that was the case until the dark tome entered her then young life, teaching her new forms of magic and increasing her powers tremendously.
She moves about rather freely, not fearing the others and tends to agree that beings of Dark should not have been banished to the shadows and wants to see equality between the races. While when she had been young and blindly following Daniel's orders, she has since, excuse the pun, seen the light, and has learned the truth of what truly happened.
It was some time after that chain of events that the Angel Zealot grew bored awaiting her fellow angels to arrive and explored the world, wanting to see things with her eyes unclouded as they had been before. That was when she cam across a dark, mysterious man, whom unbeknownst to her, was none other than the Demon Zealot, Straga. Through a turn of mistaken identity, they fell in love, and together brought forth a child of their two races, Stravos, though he was held by Shadair, her familiar, while she was in the Heavens, in fear of her baby's safety. Once her duties were completed, she returned to her husband and gave birth to their child, giving him all of the love and support she herself lacked from her own parents at his age.
