Self-examination is appropriate today, dear Aries. Personal matters are in strong focus with the Moon in your sign all day. You can be quite competitive today, but may take things personally if you don't come first. Others may oppose your plans or could be asserting themselves in frustrating ways. There may be a conflict stimulated now, or a battle of wills. Otherwise, the day can be good for self-motivation and starting up new projects.
Talia was just scrolling through pages and pages of horoscopes, reading all of them with identical malaise. She knew they were all a bunch of hogwash. Flimflam readings that were vague enough to fit anyone.
At the same time, it was kind of fun. They gave her ideas for what she was going to do that day, how to fill the gaps and spaces in her memory. This particular horoscope spoke volumes to her since it mentioned the moon. Anything lunar just automatically made her think of senshidom. Actually, these days there wasn't much that didn't make her think of senshidom. It was clogging up her life again, in a really displeasing sort of way. She just wanted to forget about it, but it kept creeping into her consciousness.
Feeling bored, she followed the horoscope's advice. Personal matters- to Talia, that meant reflection and contemplation.
With the flick of her wrist, she had transformed right in the comfort of her own room. She didn't intend to leave the room though, so hiding from her roomates was an easy task.
Draconis whipped out her phone and held the button in the center, evening her breaths and listening for the voice of Draconis- her home planet Draconis. She'd been visiting it more and more lately, eager to recover the fragments the past had strewn before her feet.
Red boots gently tapped onto the hot surface, steam billowing upwards in her face. Draconis yelped and flailed to another spot, screeching wildly due to the immense heat she'd been met with. "Hot hot hot hot!!" she cried out, fluffing her skirt up and down, in an attempt to cool off a little. "Yeesh, not a very nice welcome, planet!" As if in response, another steam vent opened near her.
Seeing as the entire planet was attempting to kill her, Draconis stormed off in a huff, heels cracking against the rough red stone. It was in wandering a little further that she found a crushed outline of a house. It was a tiny thing, with absolutely nothing left in it. Just a dilapidated frame left, barely reaching a foot or two off the ground. Draconis ran her hands over the stone, bracelets of gold scraping against the gray, ashy stone. Any anger she'd felt at the planet was gone, replaced with a terrible sadness. "What happened here ..." she uttered, shaking her head very slowly.
What could have been so catastrophic that it destroyed an entire kingdom? Could she have done anything to stop it?
Was this her fault?
Draconis continued wandering, in and out of crushed stonework, running her hands along all of it. Unfortunately, the air was too belligerent against her lungs. Ash and gas were clogging her organs, so she decided to return home.
Once she was safe and back in bed, she stared up at the ceiling for a while. Draconis left too many mysteries for Talia's tiny mind. Too many unaswered questions and not enough time to answer them.
