WHO: Revontulet, Doucette, and Lulu (+Josh?) WHEN: Mid-afternoon WHERE: The amusement park WEATHER: A pleasantly sunny, almost warm winter day Revontulet looked around the area with bright eyes. It had been a while since she had been to the park with Cesc and his guardians, and she had begged Doucette to go with her once more. Unfortunately, Doucette had dragged her feet, rather uninterested in reliving the stomach-heaving moments of the last time the group had visited. Amusement parks just didn't bring the same pitter-patter to her heart like it so clearly did for Ren.
The aurora was in a simple peacoat with a fuzzy pair of white ear muffs framing her face and giving a bright look to her dark locks. Doucette was dressed similarly, a pair of jeans tucked into her boots in an attempt to insulate herself afainst the cold. Unlike her charge, Doe didn't take to the cold so well, and even on a day that was somewhere between long-sleeves and sweaters, she still felt a chill.
"Who are we meeting?" the girl suddenly asked after taking in her fill of visual stimuli. It was irritating to her that they had to wait out front, as if there was a forcefield between her and the inner sanctum of the park. Doucette had only agreed to come to the park after arranging a meeting with another raevan, someone called Lulu. A name didn't much help the girl identify the person, but Ren shrugged as Doe repeated the name unhelpfully in response to her question.
"I'm sure you've seen her before!" Doe said with a slight sigh, more focused on craning around people to try and catch a glimpse of the rabbit raevan.
She needn't have bothered looking so hard, of course, for once those two ears came into view, bobbing around shoulders and some of the shorter heads in the crowd, Doucette let out and excited noise and hurried forward, a little box clutched in her hands. "Lulu!" she called, raising her hand in hopes of alerting the sigel to her presence by the ticket booth.

Likewise, it did not take the rabbit long to notice Dou. Rather than spotting her telltale red curls, LuLu was able to hone in on her voice. Two brown tipped ears focused in like a sight. The sigel quickened her pace as she joined her friend at the entrance. "Miss Dou!" Her arms spread out like wings to wrap the woman in a tight hug.
Her gaze flew over to the frei behind the human. Lu's grip on Doucette lightened and she held out her arms to Ren next; though, they seemed drawn a bit narrower than before. She was more timid in this approach. "Hello again."

Doucette happily returned the rabbit's embrace, her smile spilling ear to ear with delight at seeing one of her favorite Raevans. "Lulu, it is so wonderful to see you!" The red head fussed and cooed for a moment before realizing that Lulu's attention had shifted to Ren, which was only natural, considering.
"Oh! Yes! This is Revontulet, I mentioned her at the Christmas party." Lips parted, as if to say something else, but Lulu's words brought her up short. Again? Ren had not mentioned meeting Lulu later in the evening at the party, but surely that would be the case.
Revon had watched the interaction with open curiosity, but kept her distance. There was something familiar about this Sigel, and yet it felt wholly strange and new at the same time. At the open invitation of the other though, the moonstone moved into the other's arms, never one to shy away from PDA. "We have met?"
The question was posed cautiously, not wanting to instill hurt in the other by not remembering them, despite the nagging notion at the back of her mind. "I recognize you, but I don't." Ren's eyes flickered to the rabbit's ears for a long pause, before returning her gaze to Lulu's face.

LuLu's nerves spiked just briefly when she realized how forward her statement was. Neither of them had been in their right mind at that time. It was hard to say just what parts of that night Ren would remember. Would it be their defacement of private property? Or, maybe, their paint fight? Nevertheless, the sigel sank into the hug as though she was greeting an old friend. She breathed out softly into Ren's soft curls, "It was a passing moment."
Honestly, despite what fun they may have had, LuLu would prefer if the aurora had forgotten seeing the rabbit at her lowest low. "We can make new memories together now." She released the younger raevan and offered a bright smile. "Do you like rides?"

The other's words were both intriguing and frustrating to the aurora. How could this Lulu offer such comfort and welcome, but still speak in a riddle?
Revontulet resolved to spend the night racking her brains to remember exactly what this passing moment of familiarity was. She would know what it was about those long ears that made her rune feel a bit upside down.
However, Lulu's next words almost derailed her resolution entirely, for the mention of rides brought a bright smile to the girl's features. "Oh, yes!" she breathed, looking between her guardian, whose cheeks were already starting to look a bit pale, and the bunny.
"I like the really big ones, but Doucette hates them. Do you like the big ones? Will you ride them with me?"
If she'd had toes, Ren would have been bouncing on them in anticipation.

LuLu giggled, "I have not ridden the big ones. They can look scary." She was being truthful. Roller coasters tumbling around in the air filled to the brim with screaming humans had a way of turning the sigel away. "You must be very brave." LuLu shot a prideful smile at Dou as a way of commending her on her charge.
She offered a hand to Ren before she started floating in the direction of the larger, and more twisty, rides. "I will ride them with you. If you can share some courage." Perhaps someone to confide in could get her through the first time line waiting jitters.
Probably to Dou's horror, they were still approaching one of the bigger coasters of the park. However, that fact was barely noticed by LuLu, with the energy radiating off of Ren it was difficult for the rabbit not to hop right along with the aurora.

Doucette tried not to groan at the compliment from Lulu. Oh yes, Revon could be very brave sometimes. Or, perhaps, reckless. Although she was never outright thrill-seeking, Ren never showed fear except when she thought her hair was about to be trimmed.
It was all Doe could do to offer a wavering smile to the bun as the trio took off. At least the seats were two across and the redhead could potentially get out of it and wait for the two at the exit!
At the offering of the hand, Revontulet reached out and looped her arm about Lulu's - twining herself against the sigel with an exuberant expression. "When I rode this with Cesc we made funny faces!" Her voice was a breathy pitch of excitement as they took their place in line, significantly shorter due to the time of year they were going.
"What kind of face will you make?"

LuLu watched the line ahead of them with unwavering eyes as she chatted with the frei hooked around her arm. "What sort of funny faces?" The ride hardly seemed humorous with all the screams and excited chatter coming from the front of the line. It must be a type of funny the sigel was unaccustomed to. Perhaps they had photo booths at the end so the two raevans could see how truly silly their faces looked. It would be a good token of their visit to the park, too. The line filtered through a small set of metal gates like clock work. One after the other passengers piled into metal carts and in a flash it was their turn. LuLu gestured for Ren to file into the seat first. Her grip eased up and led the girl into the cart. She then looked back to find their cohort Doucette. However, to Lu's shock the woman was gone! The rabbit focused her eyes onto the horizon and could just make out a head of curls at what looked like the exit. "Miss Dou!" The sigel chided softly though the woman had no chance of hearing it. The employee working the line cleared their throat in a rather bored manner and pointed to the empty place beside the aurora. "Please be seated ma'am." The rabbit gave one more glance at Ren's guardian before she slid in next to the other raevan. She stated a bit sadly "Miss Dou got away from us." Then a mischievousness tugged at her lips, "We will make sure she joins us on the next ride, right?"

Revontulet contorted her face in a way that was wholly unsuitable to the poised expressions she usually wore. Blue eyes went cross-eyed and a little wonky and her tongue hung out the side of her mouth with a slack-jaw. "Lhik dis," she said, before clearing her face with a shake of her head and a grin. "I don't remember Cesc's face, but he used his hands to do something super silly!"
With more dexterity than might be assumed for the woman, Doucette had hopped right on through the seats and out the other side, scampering safely to the exit before turning to wave at the two. "Have fun you two!"
She could tell Lulu was mouthing something at her, but she just amped up her smile. There was no way she was getting back on that hell coaster.
"Oh yes. She quite hated this ride." Revontulet rolled her eyes at the memory before reaching out and grabbing Lulu's hands, lacing her fingers between the other's. "Of course! We will make her even if we have to find some duct-tape! It's two against one after-all!"

And with that the first ride had begun!
True to the example Ren had given, LuLu endured the ride with the silliest face she could muster. Eyes crossed and her lips pursed into the most stupendous duck face ever worn. She felt truly ridiculous, but it felt right given the wild hoots and flailing arms of the other patrons.
The sigel had never moved so fast before! It felt both liberating and scary being able to fly in the air like that. Unfortunately, no one had warned her it would go upside down! She may have closed her eyes for that part. Despite the flip floppy feeling in her stomach at the end and the fact her ears were still ringing from everyone's screams, the coaster had been a relatively pleasant experience. Most importantly, everyone had survived the ordeal.
The safety bar finally lifted and they began to climb out of their seats. LuLu looked over to Ren. She wore a lopsided grin from the feeling of vertigo still lingering. "That was fun!" She could not deny it had also been frightening, but the rabbit could now better understand why some thrill seekers sought out rides like these.
LuLu was eager to move onto new rides. Specifically, ones that the two could force Doucette on and which stayed on the ground. The older raevan made her suggestion, "How about we go on the bumper cars now?"

Ren squeezed Lulu's hand as the two of them looped and twirled their way through the intricate design of the coaster.
The moonstone loved the feeling of being free and weightless, her hair hovering about her cheeks as they plummeted down a quick drop. It was exhilarating and calming all at the same time and the bright expression of delight that she wore when the safety bars lifted were all the proof needed to show she would have ridden the coaster a hundred more times if the line weren't so long!
"You really liked it?" Revontulet's wings gave a happy little dance upon her back as they stretched themselves out from the confinement of the seat. If the bunny enjoyed it, maybe she could convince her to ride it just one more time before the end of the night.
But for now, the line was starting to stretch and she could tell that Lulu was eager to get back at Doucette. With a firm nod at the suggestion, the two girls took off for the exit. "Yes, we must play bumper cars and make Doe regret leaving us," Ren said with mischievous intent. "But we have to see our pictures first!! I want to buy one for my room. I will put it next to the one I have of Cesc."
So after a brief stop to laugh at their expressions (and the expressions of those captured in the same frame, of course) and buy their pictures, it was time to find the red head.
Thankfully, she was waiting for them not far from the exit with a candy apple in one hand. "I'm glad to see you made it out alive, Lulu."

She nodded, "I have never experienced anything like that. I am still dizzy! It was a wonderful ride though. Thank you for sharing it with me." LuLu was pleased that Ren has the same idea as herself. Both their smiles had an impish quirk. "Yes. Pictures first, then payback." As they made their way to the photo booth, and Doucette, LuLu began to watch the monitors for their picture. To be honest, the rabbit was curious if her funny face had lasted through the whole ride as to be picked up by the camera. The sigel exclaimed suddenly, "There we are!" Sure enough, LuLu's duck face was as spectacular as any other face in the photo. The rabbit could not help but give a soft chuckle at her own expense. When that was finished, they had returned to Dou's side and their three man team was complete once again. LuLu replied to the guardian, "I would not let a ride be my death Ms. Dou! I would hate to miss out on all the other fun things at the park." The sigel was already heading in the direction of their next ride and, thankfully, the lined looked to be relatively short. "Are you ready for the bumper cars next?"

Revontulet beamed with pride as she looked at the new photo souvenir in her hands, the two frei making ridiculous faces with their hair flying wild behind them. It would look perfect on her wall next to her photo of her and Cesc.
Perhaps she should bring every friend to this coaster to make a collage of it?
Doucette reached out with her free hand as the two girls neared her and looped one arm through her young frei's, sandwiching the aurora between herself and the sigel. "Then you are made of stronger stuff than me, my dear!"
The redhead made a tsk noise at the mention of bumper cars, waving her half-eaten apple in the direction of the ride. "Only if you are ready to get your car bumpered a bunch! Revontulet and I shall give you a run for your money."
"Oh yes," Ren said, with a conspiratorial wink towards the rabbit, "We will." Poor Doucette was going to find out just whose car was going to be bumpered, and it wasn't going to be a pleasant revelation.

LuLu gave a pleased flap of her wings at Dou's observation, but the human would have to toughen up too if she were to survive the next ordeal. The rabbit almost felt bad about the trap they were about to spring on the woman.... almost. "You will have to catch me first." Her voice warbled in a sing song chime as she bumped the ride's gate open with her hip to let their party through. She was sure to return Ren's wink behind the human's back. LuLu approached a crimson car with a glitter finish and took her spot in the driver's seat. She called across the circuit to Ren and Doucette, "Get ready!"

With a high-pitched laugh of delight, Revon sprinted to one of the bright blue bumper cars, fingers tap tap tapping in excitement upon the steering wheel as the ride manager stared for a long moment about how exactly to buckle in one who does not have a lap. Finally he gave up and moved on to the next patron, though a dazed expression still sat just behind his eyes.
"You will find that I am quite speedy when it comes to these little monsters," Doucette taunted back at Lulu, the remainder of her candy apple quickly finding its way into a trash bin as she scrambled for a sporty little black car. "Ren, you take right!"
Ren grinned, wide and happy, as her ribbon experimentally pressed down on the gas pedal, her rune glowing bright with the extra force. "Aye, aye!"
