 Σύβαρις looked up over the towering mountain before her, her boney hooves digging into the stony, rocky ground of the mountain base. She had heard the rumors of a great dragon that had recently taken over, and she knew from the first moment that she would have to travel here to see for herself. Could it possibly be her father that had taken home here? She had only heard stories from her mother, but she didn’t need to see her father to know she was a dragon at heart. She carried the fact proudly, and one day she was determined to reach her full potential.
She stretched her wings and frowned a bit, knowing she wouldn’t be able to fly up the mountain as would be ideal. Her skeletal, leathery swings made gliding for short periods possible, but the wind was already whipping around her face and she knew it would be too dangerous to attempt the great peak on the fly.
She steeled her determination, and headed up the long, rocky path.

 Smaug didn't often leave his cavern. He always had the itch in his scales that a dwarf was just waiting for him to wander out and then take over. It made him more enraged than normal. His tail flicked over the gold, a long yawn coming from his mouth. His wings strestched, before folding tight against his back. He curled up over his gold, the mountains and mountains of it making him far more proud of his treasures.
The great beast lifted his head after a moment, rather tired. He looked around, before letting his gaze shift to the front. Tilting his head, he smirked, and let some of the fires move toward him, using the manipulation skill his breed held. He pressed it against his cales, practically letting out a purr at the warmth.

Σύβαρις tried to pace herself on her way up the mountain. She was excited to see if the rumors were true, but she tried not to let herself get exhausted, either. She had no idea what - or who - she would find up the these crags.
Once she had gotten to a good height, she focused on looking for an entrance into the cavernous mountains. She pressed her flanks against the rocky walls, looking carefully for a hole, cave, or crack that might lead into its rocky depths. She tapped with her bone hooves, not bothering to be stealthy.

Smaug sighed, lifting himself off his belly and up from teh gold. His wings beat several times, before he slowly made his way down the huge pile of treasure. He folded the large wings gainst his back, before his eyes flickered around in the semi dark cavern. What was he going to do, anyways? He could sleep more... always an option. Stretching his limbs, the dragon moved with a shockingly agile grace as he started to circle his treasure, as if inspecting it for damage.

Σύβαρις finally found a mouth to a cave, and she peered around the rocky wall. She took a deep breath, and caught the faint whiff of smoke. She smiled, her long, dracolich like tail twitching in excitement. She stepped into the darkened cave and stomped her hooves against the stone floor, trying to announce her presence. She walked in, letting her eyes adjust the darkness as she did, walking slowly and deliberately.

Smaug lifted his head at hte noise, a snarl lifted onto his features. His tail flicked roughly behind him, and his eys narrowed dangrously. Who the hell was in his cave? He moved slowly around the piles of gold, his eyes locked on the creature that was within his home. his claws scraped down against the ground as he walked. He paused after a moment, eyes locked.
"Who are you?" He hissed, his spines rattling slightly along his back at the intruder. He didn't like other creatures being close to him; but if they were going to wander in, he may as well figure out why.

The fiery colored female began to notice the coins and flits of gold pieces that seemed to be littering the floor. Then she heard it - the rumbling movement through the horde... and the scrape of claws. She steeled herself and looked up, her eyes adjusting, to land on an impressive beast.
She smiled triumphantly. "I am Sybaris," she said with a strong, deep voice. "I have come looking for the dragon of the mountain."

Smaug blinked, his head tilting slowly to the side. He observed the bone mare with a curious glare. She was... Well... Different. Perhaps a bone dragon from the far north that Smaug had denied coming with him in the overtake of the mountain. They seemed weak, to the dragon. One good hit and they would fall apart.
His tail flicked in irritation, smoke leaking from his mouth, before he lowered his head until it was eye level with the mare. So she came to see the dragon of the mountain. The great creature that overtook an entire city adn killed almost all the creatures within. Lifting his head, he reared up, wings beating in a sort of show of power and form. After a moment, hel owered himself back down, growling low in his throat. "You have found him than, Sybaris.

Σύβαριςi didn't seem frightened at all. No, instead she seemed impressed, almost proud. Her eyes twinkled with excitement as he gave off his impressive display. He was much larger than her indeed, and she watched his wings and smoke with her tail waving behind her, clinking in the strewn treasure of the cave floor.
"I have no question, your greatness," she said once he settled. "Would you grace me with your name? Do you know the mare, Tisiphone?"

Smaug stared at the mare in a curious manner. She was a dragon in deed. He could smell it, and he could see different aspects that were similar. Though she wasn't pure... she wasn't a full blown dragon. twitching the tip of his tail, the beast paced slowly around her, his eyes locked on the small mare, his wings folded tight.
"My name? You have not heard my name?" He asked a chuckle at the edge of his voice. "I am the great Smaug, King under the mountain and the fiercest dragon in all the lands." He said, puffing his chest slightly in a rather arrogant way. "I do not know this creature of which you speak.. Is she of importance?"

"No, I had only heard the stories and the rumors, perhaps by those too afraid to speak your name, Smaug," she said with a dip of her head in respect. "Tisiphone is my mother," she continued, looking back up at him. "My father was a great dragon himself, though, perhaps not the the strongest or fiercest if you do not know of Tisiphone." The disappointment was evident in her voice, but she knew it was but a small chance anyway.
"Though I do not consider my trip wasted at all, for I feel honored to meet the greatest dragon in all the lands."

Smaug walked a calm circle around the mare. Though she did not appear to be dragon-esc in many ways, she was, in fact, respectful. And the smell that she emitted was close to his homeland. He flicked his tail, his eyes lingering on the mare for several moments, before he finished his circle. He moved back toward his gold, before turning back to her, large wings folded tight against his back, his ears perked toward her. His tail shifted and swayed for a moment behind him, scattering a few coins, which he seemed to not mind at the moment, though at the same time, found himself cataloging the sound of where they landed in his mind. He knew where every piece was, and if anyone but himself moved it... Well, it was simple cause and effect after that.
"Your father was a great dragon? Of these lands?" He asked, voice curious. He had known of several dragons in his own homeland, before he came here to the mountains of gold. But he knew very little about any from this location; all that he knew of were dead by now, from what he knew.w Though he was rather curious as to if that was true or not. For all he knew, another dragon could be lingering away from his mountain home. "No other creature can stand up to me; even a horde of Dwarves were no match. I, Smaug, can take down any that dare challenge me!" He said, claws scraping the ground some with his pleasure of being able to talk about himself so highly.

"My mother said he originally came from over the ocean, from the lands of the east," she said, letting her eyes flick over towards the gold. She had heard that many dragons had an affinity for the stuff, but she never felt such a desire. She was much more interested in power. She also didn't argue with Smaug when claimed to be the greatest. "I don't doubt it," she agreed. "I had heard you were the greatest, which is why I came seeking you."

Smaug watched the bone dragon with a critical eye. He huffed softly, smoke coming from his nostrils before he settled some, wings beating. He folded his wings easily over his back. Shifting slowly, his claws scattered the small gold pieces as he moved toward her again. His tail gave a small slither behind him, the tip flicking until it spread some of the gold about behind him. The east? That was were Smaug had traveled from... He thought about it some, before shaking his head. Perhaps he would have to find this father of Sybaris. He could have met the drake in passing somehow. He shifted for a moment, before shaking his head with a small grunt. His tail swayed again, before he lowered his head to stare at the mare a bit easier.
"Of course you had, Sybaris. Word of my concur has been known to all around these mountains." He stated, voice a low growl. The fire drake shifted for a moment, eyes flickering along her, before he settled on her face once more. She wasn't too bad, now that he thought about it. The bones could be a problem, but, he could work around those. He could train her to actually be what he needed for his Flight. Glancing over his shoulder for a moment, the dragon let out a small grunt, his wings beating once more, before folding comfortably over his back.
