The nurse frowned as she tapped her chart with her fingertips, her long hair was tied up behind her head in a small bun. "Seems your condition is sort of improving, we can change the antibiotic and try to fix the problems in a couple days." she said smiling as she walked over and brushed her hand against the boy's forehead. "The fever's going down as well." the nurse said sighing softly as she shook her head

Tyler sighed and shook his head as well, blushing a bit as he felt the nurse's hand on his forehead. "But that's what always happens. It gets better for a few days, then it looks like I'm fine, then everything goes downhill and I start coughing up blood again..." The patient frowned a little as he looked up at his nurse, his hair covering his eyes a bit.

"Hush, your not going to get better, if you keep acting so negative." she said brushing his hair out of his eyes and smiled as he looked at her and helped him settle against the pillows. "You think, I'm going to let something bad happen to you." she asked as she looked at him

Frowning a bit, he looked up at her with his ocean blue eyes as she brushed the hair out of his face. "Of course not, I know you want me to get better. I just... don't think that it's possible. I've been sick since I was born and they can never find out what's wrong with me." He kept looking into her eyes, a faint blush still on his cheeks.

"Everyone has an illness they can't find a cure too. some people are sick for the rest of their lives. But I think that's wrong and I do believe that you'll get better." shes aid sitting beside him on the bed and wrapping her arm around his waist

He wasn't quite sure what to say, not to mention when the nurse wrapped her arm around his waist his face instantly turned into a bright pink color. "I-I... uh..." The patient looked away, unable to look into the woman's eyes because he knew that if he did, his heart would melt.

"Ms.Sarafina, we have a problem with another one of the patients." one of her assistance asked poking her head into the room and smiling as she noticed the two of them. Sarafina sighed as she stood up and brushed off her skirt. "I'll be back in a bit." she said kissing Tyler's forehead and walked off down the hallway. "So what's the problem now" she asked as she came into the room and checked the girl's temperature.

Tyler bit his lower lip as his forehead was kissed, shivering as his blush deepened. He watched Sarafina walk away, sighing in relief as she left the room. Thoughts raced through his mind as he was unsure what to do once she returned. Tell her? Try to make small talk? He had no idea. The patient closed his eyes and allowed his racing thoughts to continue, snuggling under the hospital blankets.

The nurse sighed as she sat down in the little girl's room brushing her hair from her forehead as she cuddled with the plush her father had given her. "You'll go home soon sweetheart, with all your toys and stuffed animals." she said smiling a little bit

Tyler opened his eyes back up and stared at the ceiling, frowning. He was going to tell her. As soon as his nurse walked back into the room, he was finally going to tell her. But how? Moving his hair so it was in his face, he thought deeply. Somehow, someway, he was going to tell her when she came back.

Sarafina sighed as he noticed the little girl had finally fallen asleep and settled her down on the bed wrapping a blanket around her. "I'm going to go get something to eat." Sarafina said walking out of the room and into the cafe of sorts and sighed as she ordered herself a strong cup of coffee
