                                ゴールドライン -- Gōrudorain [meaning "Goldline"]

                                Orantagwa Tsubaki Gōrudorain
The credited founder of this house, Orantagwa Gōrudorain was a woman of respectful manner and grace. Her wisdom of Soul Society gained her considerable hailing from the Captain-Commander and the Soul King a little over six-hundred years ago, allowing her to band an alliance of individuals to protect the Demonic Book buried deep in the Earth of Seireitei. Orantagwa founded the house at the age of 456 [spiritual age] and still maintains the seat to the current date. Few have actually encountered this woman, for she resides deep within the grounds of Seireitei constantly guarding the book.

                                Circa 600 Years Prior
Stemming back just prior to Commander Shu Feng Hiroshi's initial appointment, Orantagwa Tsubaki Gōrudorain was a local philosopher to the various Rukongai districts. She'd travel the desolate lands preaching and soothsaying the distraught citizens with hails of the King's soon to be ascension of protectors [the Gotei 14]. She would write small scrolls of wisdom to the people, crediting her words as a promise to all that feared the darkness that once existed in the not too far past. Upon the Commander's ascension, the people hailed the woman for her words and even thought of her as a prophet to the King himself; Orantagwa Tsubaki Gōrudorain would deny these claims, instead crediting her hope as the beckon. Some ten years later, word began to spread that the King was gathering a militia of powerful warriors to lead Seireitei as the pillars of protection. Many speculated that Orantagwa Tsubaki Gōrudorain would be chosen, but she hushed the rumors telling that she possessed no power to protect, instead only to inspire and aid in times of distress.

She was not chosen to be apart of the Gotei Alliance.

Accepting her terms, Orantagwa Tsubaki Gōrudorain continued her philosophical work as well as spreading good word of the Gotei. Word reached the Commander of her acts; Commander Feng would visit the woman one day. Upon their meeting, Shu Feng Hiroshi would counsel this woman partaking in her wisdom and even gathering some scrolls from her collection. At the end of their meeting, the Commander would tell Orantagwa [by now an aged woman] that she'd been selected by the King to uphold a job to which only she could do.

The job was to protect the secret book [to which Orantagwa Tsubaki Gōrudorain thought was a mere bedtime story for children] the King himself sealed long, long ago. The woman, hesitant at first, demanded proof of this "book's" existence to which Commander Hiroshi would show her. She immediately accepted this fortune upon seeing the historic piece, only requesting that she not partake in the role alone fearing she wouldn't be strong enough. The Commander agreed thereby allowing Orantagwa Tsubaki Gōrudorain to create the first generation of the "Protectors" as she called them. A small faction of five, the Protectors lived below the ground constantly counseling and studying the book. Years upon years later, the group would grow in its numbers, even spreading its connections above ground. All members, as decreed by the newly established Central 46, were to remain secret and stricken from the records for high-level safety purposes.

Presently, the faction has changed its name to the "Gōrudorain House" a decision made by a unanimous vote in honor of Orantagwa Tsubaki Gōrudorain herself.

                                The Guardians
While possessing no specialized Clan abilities, the Gōrudorain are quite versed in the historical texts of Seireitei. They have been known to take seats amongst the secretive Kido Corps as well.
They do not specialize in Zanjutsu instead taking a peaceful approach to life.

                                Current Head of the Clan

                                Notable Members:
The Identities of the affiliates are kept secret by order of Central and the Captain-Commander for this house guards and havens one of the most prized possessions in all Soul Society.

                                Influence
Aside from their monstrous job of overseeing the Demonic Book, the Gōrudorain are an unknown people. They exist only to the locals as a name, but to those who actually know who they are, they are a major bone in the body of Soul Society.
Orantagwa Tsubaki Gōrudorain's influence can be seen through her philosophical work [to which has been converted to book form and placed in the libraries of Seireitei].
