Erionda tucked on her thin cloak around her shoulders. She had finished sewing the fabric and was very proud of her own work. It had taken her several attempts over the past week before she could finally accomplish it. Clipping it together with a clasp around her neck Erionda lifted her hands behind her head and flicked her hair away from her shoulders.
Her daughter Lilith was studying upstairs. With the feelings it was best to leave her to what she enjoyed Erionda gave a light smile. Lilith was so much like her, and Erionda didn't blame her for being upset that her father had continued to leave her behind. Even she was upset about it, but there was nothing she could do. She wasn't going to demand he stay home and remain close by his daughter. If he wanted no part of her she couldn't force him. It would be like forcing a stone into the stew during supper. The only one who would be hurt would be Lilith in the end. And there was no way she would put her through that.
Shaking her head she turned to give Uassae a look. He was curled up in the living room in front of the warm fire. A fire she had to tend to often, fetch wood in order to sustain it. Lanzecki was sitting off to the left staring out the window thoughtfully.
Mentally she probed Lanzecki to see what he was up to. Receiving a welcoming mental hug in return. Did he know the pain she was in? Of course he did, like Uassae they were bonded and could read each others emotions when walls were down. Her walls never rose around her Khehora.
Pushing to all four feet Lanzecki pranced towards Erionda. "You're going out again? Are you going with Kioda? I understand she's returned from her trip to Ayr."
Erionda gave him a swift nod and reached out to pat his neck.

Kioda had been nestled in the nest closest to the door. It was her favorite one and often gave her ample time to make a quick escape from where she was resting if that Oblivionite dared to enter.
She had returned from her very quick trip to Ayr. It hadn't lasted more than a day. Kioda had only gone to make a final check on her orbs and make sure they were well prepared. She would wait a few more days before attempting to find Anodyne and complete what would be the ritual to take her to the final stage. Once she had returned here for a brief moment Kioda was pleased to find the Hybrid's welcoming home still as inviting as before. Kioda didn't like many two leggers but this hybrid was one of the very few exceptions.
Shifting her position in the nest Kioda laid her head down on the soft bedding. Her eyes narrowed at the sound of footsteps just outside. Listening closely for a few seconds she eventually relaxed. It was only Erionda approaching and from the sounds of it. So were her two bonded slaves. If she hadn't seen with her own eyes that Erionda often let the two wonder off when they pleased and didn't force them with her she would have had a fit long ago. However she did well to treat them as just another member of her family.
Letting her muscles roll as she stretched Kioda lept towards the ground floor. Ready to welcome Erionda in the bright morning air outside. Quickly picking up her feet she moved towards the door with haste. Pressing her muzzle into the wooden handle and flicking it upward Kioda moved into the crisp air to greet the hybrid. "Thank you for giving me a place to rest while I think things over."
Erionda nodded happily and turned to open her hands. "Look Kioda I caught another one on the way here. They really are quite something aren't they?"
