It appears to be exceptionally durable, taking upon the most powerful of attacks without cracking in the slightest. It is remarked to be synthesized with a unique alloy that resonates with dark energies. It empowers every strike of his with a corporeal darkness that is capable of literally cleaving through most non-magical armors within a matter of moments.
Partner: Shira
Theme Song: Coming Soon
Personality: After being purged of all negative and bad emotions as well as his demonic/dark energy, Atticus has become a greatly different person then he used to be. A very gentle and kind person, Atticus will risk his very life to save and protect his friends, he holds others well-being's before that of his own. Some would that is both his greatest strength and weakness. He does not possess any arrogance, and fully justifies any statements he make about his power, even complimenting his opponents at times on their abilities.
In addition to being a skilled and powerful weapon, Atticus has equally impressive intelligence, and has shown to be very wise. He is exceedingly sharp and observant to any situation at hand, as he is rarely surprised or caught off guard. He also displays great intuition, as he is almost never deceived and even then almost instantly realizes the truth. Despite his status as a weapon, his former title as Demon King, and having gained a reputation through constant fighting and enjoying killing, Atticus no longer takes pride nor enjoyment in violence or combat, instead preferring to avoid battle or, if this was not possible, end it as quickly as he could with the least amount of damage to himself or his opponent.
However, due to this way of thinking, Atticus and Mirai, along with Texas, were nearly killed by Herald as he used Mirai and Texas to permanently free himself from Eric, which resulted in Atticus losing his arm. After this and the death of Divine, Atticus became much more like his former self as well as a mixture of Divine. He harbors nothing but hatred towards Herald and disdain towards Emma, but he still shows signs of compassion, understanding, and love to Mirai, Shira, Charlotte and all of his other friends. Just recently, he has also been shown showing more of his idiotic and more docile nature, even flirting with other girls. After finally meeting with Herald in combat and losing, Atticus' animosity towards the kishin would be gone. One again, he thinks of Herald as a close friend and rival.

Bio (Up to five sentences minimum):
Born into a family of merchants, Atticus was a talented and gifted little child. In fact, many would hope that he would grow up to become an powerful weapon. Hearing stories about Soul's fight against the darkness, Atticus would grow to admire him and think of him as an role model. Never did he think, that he too would have to fight against the darkness.
It was exactly ten years ago, when Atticus pretty much lost everyone and everything that he loved. One night, while he and his family were eating dinner, there would be a sudden shake, as the sky grew even blacker. Telling him to stay inside, Atticus' parents would go out and see what was happening, it was then that Atticus' life changed. As his parents went outside, they were instantly devoured by a cloud of darkness, completely erasing their very existence. As Atticus saw this, he would immediately rush outside only to be confronted with a gruesome scene. Everyone in the town and everything there, was being erased by a darkness. Not even having time to grieve for his parents, Atticus would flee from the town and take refuge in the Castle that was located nearby.
After about two hours, Atticus would emerge from the castle and saw that everything was gone, and that he was all that was left. Atticus would let out an loud earth-shattering scream, full of pain, anger, sorrow, and despair. Having lost everything, Atticus would go unconscious and fall into a deep, deep sleep. During which, his heart was engulfed by the darkness that he felt. After about two days, Atticus would wake up in a bright place, later he would find out that it was the DWMA. Having come to, Atticus was greeted by an man who would tell him about what happened and that he had made graves for all of those that were destroyed. Atticus would thank the man for his help and then leave.
It is unknown where Atticus was or what he did during the five years that he was absent, but from what many have heard, it is said that he went on rampage and destroyed countless villages, in his path for vengeance. After each place he destroyed, Atticus would grow closer and closer to the darkness, he even had began to forget his parents death, that was when his powers, activated and he was able to transform his hands into two swords. Having discovered his hidden power Atticus went on to slaughter countless demons and even humans. It was during this time, that Atticus was approached by an demon whose name is now known through out the world. Atticus allowed the demon to take away his heart and everything tied to it, in exchange for power and strength. After the deal was made, Atticus became the calm and emotionless being he is known as today, however the bloodthirsty and savage being he used to be still lurks deep within his mind.
Years later, Atticus would become an student ay DWMA and strives to become the strongest in the world. From time to time, Atticus and the demon would meet face to face and discuss things, almost as if they were friends. The demon, has been known to think of Atticus as an apprentice, he had been training him years before he joined DWMA, while Atticus thought of the demon as an target, which he constantly reminds him.
After losing his first partner and love of his life, Akumu. Atticus would close off his heart to others and remain in the DWMA as a meisterless weapon. But that changed once he and Shira met. On that day, Atticus had began smiling more and gradually he opened up his heart to her, only to have it all ripped away from him, once he became the Demon king. During his short time as the Demon King, Atticus would gain the respect and loyalty of many powerful demons, but deep inside his soul Shira remained. And so, after speaking with Divine, Atticus chose to give up his title and power of Demon King, so he could become Shira's partner yet again.
Several months after he had gave away his power, Atticus would soon find himself longing for the same power, so he could protect Shira. This lust, combined with various other unforeseen obstacles, led to an one on one battle with Shira in which Atticus regained his powers but also caused Shira harm, which ultimately led to him wanting to kill himself to atone for all his sins. However, thankfully this did not come to fruition, due to Divine's interference. After stopping Atticus from taking his own life, Divine would then speak to him and convince him to live on and see what the world had to offer. After listening to Divine as well as Shira and the others, Atticus would give up the notion of death and would vow to continue living.
Months after this event took place, Atticus and his other self, Sanctum, would split from one another. Sanctum would take all of his negative/bad emotions and dark energy, leaving Atticus with only a pure soul full of light and kindness. After the two separated from one another, Sanctum found his own body and went about his way, and following the events of the Expedition Mission, in which the kishin Vera, met her end, Atticus and Shira decided to split up and go on their separate ways. It has now been a whole year since the two have met, no one truly knows what it is that Atticus did during that year, but he has clearly become even more of a pacifist than he was before.
Recently, Harold, a person Atticus trusted completely, kidnapped Mirai and her partner, Texas. As a result, Atticus became reckless, emotional and very unstable. This caused a lot of trouble with not only Shira, but the rest of the team as well, as they chased after Harold and Emma. After being shown various memories from Eric/Harold's past, Atticus and the group finally made it to Harold and Emma, but it was too late. Harold had already separated himself from Eric, becoming a being of unimaginable power. This new Harold was far stronger than the old one and sought to kill Texas as well as Mirai, he went. He considered himself no longer apart of their team. Seeing this, Atticus challenged Harold, but could not handle this power and was subsequently taken down by Harold, losing his entire left arm in the process. However, thanks to Emma and Dara's words, Harold became calmed and everything seemed to have been settled. But that was not true.
While talking to Atticus, Eric, who had regained consciousness, would be shot straight through the chest, by Scarlet the Kishin. After his defeat from Harold, Atticus had begun to see the error of his ways and thanks to everyone's words, he managed to find inner peace again. Reverting back to his normal state of being, Atticus lowered his head and body before Scarlet, begging for her to take his life instead of Eric's. Atticus had sold his soul and body to Scarlet and had expected for her to order him to take his own life, but it seems that she had some other plan in mind and instead asked him to join her and Divine. Of course, Atticus could not refuse Scarlet's words and chose to leave with her, after saying his last goodbyes to everyone there.
This is where Atticus currently resides, in the demon world waiting for his fate. It was there, in the demon world, where he was reunited with Divine, where upon meeting him, Divine impaled Atticus with his many swords and went on to torture the boy before his generals and the Blackwings. It is also there that Divine began is countless days of torture and experimenting on Atticus, wanting to break the boy's spirit and body, just so he could change him into a powerful demon. After spending countless days being tortured by Divine both mentally and physically. Resulting in him reverting back into his old ways, being nothing more than a servant of Divine.
During the attack on Death City, Atticus would kill hundreds of innocent people and destroy countless beings, even his own home, all of his own volition. It would be when he is confronted by his former allies, that Atticus would truly show the results of Divine's torture. He had grown far more powerful but also more cold, as upon seeing Shira and the others, he instantly went in for the kill. During this battle, Atticus would injure and mentally abuse Mirai and his friends, but it would be Shira's words and deep down, his own gentle heart that caused Divine's influence over him to waiver and led to Shira and Atticus becoming partners once again. However, in the end, all was lost, as Divine proved to be too strong and easily defeated them all, taking over Death City.
In the three short months that Divine held the city, Atticus and the others would be in at Refugee Camp, slowly mounting an rebellion and counter strike to take back Death City. Everything came down to that fateful day, when the team went to face Divine, however they were too late. It seems that Divine had been betrayed by Noira of the Blackwings and was already on the verge of death. Despite this, he continued to fight against Atticus and the others, but ultimately, he would fall, not by Herald's or Atticus' hands, but Mirai's. Atticus was distraught over Divine's death and would have lost his sanity, if not for Shira and Mirai. As Divine had been slain, Herald would make an attempt at Mirai's life, this, along with everything else, was the final straw and Atticus would declare Herald his enemy. As of now, he and Herald have yet to see or speak to one another, because Atticus had vowed to kill him the moment he stepped foot in Death City or near Mirai again.
A few days after this, the last demons occupying the city had been driven off and the city back in the hands of the Shinigami. With his home destroyed, Atticus would move into an apartment with Shira, where the two would finally reconcile with one another, however, while this was happening something evil would lurking under Death City. That evil came in the form of the Evil Counterparts from an alternate dimension. The leader of the group, known as Lily, ambushed Atticus and with one powerful kick, knocked him out and took him captive. Waking up a few minutes later, Atticus found himself locked away in a chamber underneath Death City and it seemed that Lily and her group needed him for some unforeseen reason.
Later on, he found himself being taken deep underneath Death City, along with the entirety of the group. There, they had to go through numerous trials in order to get to some sort of hidden chamber. Through out it all, Atticus had been drained of both energy and blood, all of which, went to fuel the rebirth of the second Kishin to have ever been created, Atlas. While the exact details of the kishin and how he and Atticus are connected, remains unknown, with the sudden awakening of the kishin, Atticus and his friends have yet another powerful enemy to deal with. It is a full day after this incident, that Atticus and Herald would meet once again, to settle their dispute in a battle to the death. During this battle, Atticus would be slain by Herald, if not for Shira's pleas and the mysterious mark given to him by the Second Kishin, Atticus would have remained dead. With the new surge of power, Atticus had been transformed into a demon and went on a rampage, aiming to kill everyone there, however, because of this sudden change and loss of control, Atticus would ultimately fall to Herald in battle. After the battle had ended and Herald, surprisingly, apologized to Atticus for threatening Mirai's life, both he and Emma would leave. Not satisfied with the ending of the battle, Atticus made his way to Herald's world, with the help of the Reaver and there the two would put the past behind them and join together as comrades once more. Upon returning home, Atticus announced that he would be going off for four weeks to train and grow stronger. Accompanied by Eric, his younger brother Vincent, his sister Mirai and begrudgingly her partner, Texas, the group would head off towards the destination for their training.
Abilities:
- Hell's Symphony: This technique is fairly simple and can be called Atticus' signature or rather commonly used technique. Atticus will start this technique by coating his entire blade with darkness, resulting in an low pitch humming noise. Then Atticus will draw back his sword, building up the dark energy even more. Upon reaching the critical point, Atticus will swing his sword, releasing all the darkness gathered in the form a black energy slash. Atticus can release multiple slashes he needed to. Also, Atticus can continue storing the energy on his blade, making it twice as sharp and increasing its reach. Another ability Atticus has shown to do, is release the energy in a constant flow around either him or his opponent, creating a powerful chain of dark energy which can be used to attack multiple targets in a row or seal off an exit.
Enlightened Barrier: To start this technique, Atticus will clasp his hands together, creating a dome shaped shield around him composed of light/holy energy. The strength of the barrier depends simply on how much energy Atticus chooses to use, so if he uses half of his power then the shield will be very hard to break, but not impenetrable. The shield can be used to protect many people and he can shield others instead of himself if need be. [Barrier lasts for a total of 4 posts, before fading, or if it has not already been broken. Must wait an additional post before using it again.]
Dark Overdrive: The power represents the very aspect of darkness and death, complete and total annihilation is what the opponent has to look forward to if they are caught in this sphere of darkness. When Atticus fires the pitch-black beam, either in human form or weapon form, his entire body bristles with dark energy before it all condenses it self upon his index finger; or in weapon form, the tip of his blade. When enough energy is built, the dark sphere lunges towards its prey, tearing and ripping away any and all sources of light or any other images of hope out of its prey's perception. When contact is made, a mighty explosion occurs; tearing the unfortunate victim apart. This attack will leave even the most mighty of opponents bleeding and shredded. When used in conjunction with his newly attained ability, Souls of the Fallen, Atticus is able to fire off multiple of these spheres.[Can be used 7 times per battle, but with a cool-down period of 2 posts. With Souls of the Fallen, can be used in rapid succession.]
Transcendence Mode (During Weapon Form, this is activated through Soul Resonance): After spending numerous months in the demon world, because of his pledge to the kishin Scarlet, Atticus has gained a way to temporarily evolve into a state that is the combination of both his demonic powers and his pure soul. In this state, that Atticus has dubbed, Transcendence Mode, Atticus gains considerable power. In particular, the flying ability that he is granted by his robes, increases in power dramatically, obtaining tremendous propulsive power and endowing him with the supreme flying ability to fly higher into the sky. To activate this mode, Atticus must first recite the forbidden incantation: "To ascend beyond the boundaries of good and evil, demonic and holy, I, the one who bares the sins of the world, will stand forth and claim that which is lost. I will reject all of fate and reality. I will open my eyes to the true world and bring about its destruction."
When Atticus changes into Transcendence Mode, a small burst of black and white energy will erupt around him. Atticus' body then absorbs the energy and sends it rushing through his body increasing his strength, speed, stamina, endurance and reflexes, because of this, Atticus emits a sort electric aura around his body, causing his hair to levitate giving it a spiky appearance. His eyes become completely white, save for the golden silhouette of his pupils. When his partner activates it, she will be the one who will change into the form above. If he is in weapon form, his sword will bristle with both light and demonic energy. When in weapon form, this Mode activates as soul resonance. However, Atticus' partner must recite the incantation instead of him, this giving her or him all the benefits from the mode. This overall transformation and resonance increases his partners speed, dexterity, reflexes, endurance, strength, and accuracy to her limits, making her stronger then she could ever be. Soul Resonance/Transcendence Mode can only last for a total of 10 posts, anymore and the strain on both Atticus and his partner's body would cause the two to faint. This can be pushed to an additional five post, but Atticus must remove his limiter and put his entire body on the line.
- Duel Pistols (Only Available During Soul Resonance): When using Soul Resonance while he is in weapon form, Atticus is able to split his soul into two separate entities. A black pistol that uses demonic energy and a white pistol that uses normal soul wavelength energy. This is to better accommodate to his partner's specific soul and personality. She is able to wield him as she sees fit. While in this form, Atticus is able to fire off beams of energy like normal, but they would be weaker because of how his soul was split. However, with his partners soul in control she will be able to power up the beams. This is a unique characteristics that Atticus is known to posses, because of his artificial creation as well as his two souls and energies. [This can last as long as Soul Resonance is active or Atticus can transform back into his sword form.]
Souls of the Fallen: After coming in contact with the second Kishin, Atticus found himself branded with a strange black seal on his chest. This seal somehow connects him with the Kishin and as a result, gives Atticus a strange new ability. When in a highly vulnerable or emotional state, whether it is anger or on the verge of defeat and/or death, he found himself able to transform his body or when in weapon form, his blade, into that of strong demons, some bestowing him with different abilities, while others merely increase his strength even farther. As of now, Atticus can only use two of these transformations and after each use can not use another one for about two hours, not to mention the tremendous strain on his body and soul. The various forms that he is able to transform into, draw upon the little pool of demon energy and blood that courses through his body and pushes it to the surface, gaining phenomenal strength, speed and even some new abilities. The most common transformation that he is seen using is that of his former demonic self, the bat-winged, pale skinned, and ruthless Demon King.

Skills/Attributes:
- Immense Speed: Atticus has shown incredible speed-levels, capable of keeping up with and, in some cases, outrunning demon-class enemies with little to no effort shown. He is considered to be tremendously skilled in this area, demonstrating excessively fast movement in combat, and the ability to outclass even the fastest of opponents. Part of this speed and ability is due to his training over seas, taking the knowledge gained from that, Atticus has significantly strengthen his own speed.
Highly Perceptive Combatant: Despite his seeming disregard for any strategy in his fights, he is a very insightful man, regularly showing more understanding than one would expect. He is very adept at finding and exploiting weaknesses in his opponents' techniques, such as in his spars against fellow team member. He is also adept at adjusting to his opponent's attack patterns and battle methods to better counter them. Atticus is actually very perceptive and notices traits in people that others wouldn't notice and sees what drives a person's actions.
Muscle Memory and Senses: Through his constant struggle against his Divine and his countless training, Atticus discovered an hidden ability that allows for him to mimic another warriors techniques and improve on it, gaining an advantage in hand-to-hand combat and weaponry as well. Having honed his skills even further than that of Divine's. Atticus has enhanced his senses to the point that he truly seems to be like a demon. His hearing has increased to the point that he is able to pick up every single sound, and can decipher layer upon layer of noise, either from his opponent's movement or breathing to the sound of a bird's wing flapping. With his enhanced sense of smell, Atticus can detect specific smells, and locate their origin. He is also well adept in hand to hand combat. Due to his physique and build, Atticus is very agile and nimble, being able to maneuver his way out of situation where many would give up.
Indomitable Will: This can be seen as one of Atticus greatest strength and yet one of his greatest weaknesses. Atticus' will makes him fight to win, even if winning meant causing harm to himself. Atticus is willing to use any technique or tactic to win a fight. Whether it involves using suicidal moves or even killing people, he will not stop until he is left standing. A perfect example of this is in his latest battle against Herald, in which Atticus, after being killed, was able to come back to life and continue to fight, albeit with the help of his newly acquired demon powers and Shira's words.
Intense Spiritual Energy/Aura: As a result of his past life and soul, Atticus naturally has an incredible soul and therefore his spiritual energy is quite higher than most. After spending a majority of his life training with Divine, the Demon King, Atticus' spiritual energy has increased drastically and continues to grow stronger and stronger with day. As of now, Atticus' spiritual energy is so great, that if it were to all be released at once, the resulting force would cause a dramatic change to the terrain around him. While he usually keeps it under control, when sufficiently angered, Atticus can release it to its full extent in the form of a strong surge of energy. Unlike earlier, this one is controlled and therefore less dangerous. The presence his spiritual energy radiates is completely different from Atticus' demonic and dark appearance; the spiritual pressure itself is a vibrant golden and pitch-black, crackling intensely like electricity. When Atticus fully utilizes his power and pushes it to it's peak, his spiritual aura/energy transforms into the frightening image of a gigantic and menacing wolf which surrounds him, striking fear into the hearts of his foes.
Master Swordsmen: The one thing that Atticus is known for is his skill in wielding the sword. He has shown to be well adapt and highly experienced in the way of the sword. Extremely powerful, Atticus has never once held back his strength when wielding his sword. Thus showing you just how powerful of a swordsmen he really is. To best put his skills in perspective, Atticus has only lost one battle when he has used his swords, and that was against Divine Hope. Atticus, while showing that he is an aggressive opponent at all times, does not show it in his swordsmanship. No, when using his sword, Atticus is a lot more attentive and defensive. His style is elegant and focused, utilizing balance and footwork to outmaneuver opponents with fluid motions rather than strength. All of this, coupled with the numerous years of training and near-death battles with Divine, have forged Atticus into one of the best Swordsmen there is.
Hand-to-Hand Combat: While Atticus' true skill and talents lie with his sword, he has also shown to be rather skilled in hand-to-hand combat. Atticus has been seen matching skilled combatants with just his hands alone and is able to effortlessly knock out a unskilled fighter easily with an open-hand strike. He can easily catch an opponent's attack with a single hand, perform powerful kicks and wrestling throws, as well as elegant techniques. As shown in his battle against the kishin Harold, whose strength and powers are superior to most. Atticus was able to keep up with the monster blow to blow, not wasting a single strike. After completing his training, Atticus' hand-to-hand combat has only increased as well as his strength, being able to not only lift a massive boulder with little to no problem at all. To being able to shatter the exact same boulder with a simple punch.
