Italia has distraught. For weeks now her father kept on rambling about the Cursed. She didn't bother to listen. She quickly wished she paid more attention. It wasn't death threats or whatever most Gods would have muttered under their breath about the blasted things. It was talks about union, setting something free, showing everyone they're wrong.

Soon she caught sight of a growing familiarity in her life. Rend. He looked like he had picked a fight with every bush and tree on his way here. It made he giggle a bit as she got to her feet and hurried on over. "Hey...~!"

Sear was near his mother's temple, sitting with his gaze off in the direction of Syrridan's domain. He had never gathered the courage to go marching in there to go see Amor. It felt foreign and to be honest all the lovely dovey mushy stuff kinda made his stomach turn. He wondered if Amor ever felt the same about coming towards his mother's temple? Terrified? Well... it wasn't the same feeling...

Italia winced when Rend tripped. She covered her mouth and tried her hardest not to laugh. He was such a klutz. But he was becoming her klutz and she thought in some weird way it was kinda cute. Some big tough scary hellhound flopping to the ground over a mere harmless root. Okay, she laughed. More so at her own thoughts than his tumbling about. "S-sorry... You just look so silly..."

A frown returned to her face as she shook her head. "Not really. My father hasn't stopped talking about the Cursed... I think... he went out to go capture one."

Sear hated himself for he jumped when he heard his mother's voice. He was so used to her usual flamboyant entrances the sound of her footsteps didn't even register with him until the voice broke his thoughts. "Ah...hahaha..." He gave a grin at his mom and scratched the back of his head, a slight plea of forgiveness on his face for not being on guard. "...When you met Father, did you think about him all the time?" His eyes went back to the horizon. "I hate this feeling. It's really confusing."

Italia sighed. "It's my father, we're talking about. Even if he has to hog tie the damn thing and drag it back, its going to be here within a matter of time." She rubbed her arm uneasily. "I think we should speak to your mother..." Italia gave a firm look to Rend. She hoped if anyone could knock some sense into her father it would be Hexynia.

Sear felt his cheeks darken a few shades. "No, no Father doesn't need to hear any of this.." He didn't want to plea any further but he was not sure exactly how his parents would take his growing fascination over the Love God's son... It's not like the kid belonged to the God of War or something all high, mighty and powerful. Love. It just had to be love.

Slash approached the area where his Goddess and one of his sons were talking. He chuckled a bit. "If I shouldn't be hearing things your voice should be more hushed." He gave a bit of a knowing smirk. He knew more than Sear thought.

Italia nodded. "Lead the way, Rend..." She wanted to thank him but felt it would need to wait until after they had an idea of how to deal with the turn of the events. She placed her hand in his and went off with him in the direction of Hexynia's temple.

Sear honestly wished one of his mother's precious gargoyles would swoop down and consume him whole right now. If he could shrink or vanish into nothing too that would have worked. His parents' gaze was making him practically squirm on the inside despite not outwardly showing it much. "...W-well... uhm.. he uh..."

Slash stood besides his Goddess, giving her a faint bow of respect before looking at his stammering son. "Being in love is nothing to be ashamed of." He smirked a bit at that. "So who is this he?"

Rend leads Italia to Hexynia's territory, blinking as they came upon the strange male outside the gates. Hearing that he was the son of the god of Love, Syrridan, he coughs slightly behind Amor to alert him of their presence. "I am Rend, son of the goddess Hexynia. I will escort you inside and hopefully you'll get the audience you seek." He pitches his voice loud enough that the lurking Gargoyles would hear him, then opens the gate, motioning Italia and Amor with him. Upon entering the audience chamber and seeing no one, Rend thinks for a moment, then motions Amor and Italia to follow him. "My parents are probably out on the ramparts. If we hurry, we can probably catch up with them before they leave again."

Hexynia's ears twitched slightly, sensing that Rend was now home and that he'd brought at least two others with him. "I think, perhaps, we need to prepare for some unexpected company, boys." She murmurs, glancing towards the door Rend, Italia, and Amor would shortly be coming through.

Amor jumped from the noise coming behind him, and quickly spun on his heels to look to who was approaching. He eyed the two as he calmed himself and his rapidly beating heart. He could tell that the male, before he even introduced himself as a son of Hexynia, was a hellhound. The female behind him though, a follower, perhaps even offspring, of Venezia. Turning fully, he bowed to them both. "I give you all my thanks." He spoke to Rend before taking his place behind the two and following close behind as they entered.

Italia took what comfort she could in having Rend's arm around her shoulders. She had never really met Hexynia face to face and she had a fierce and intimidating presence. To think her Father could so be so light-hearted around the Hellhound Goddess was hard to even fathom. She took a moment before responding. "I think it is matters better left private, Goddess Hexynia..." She glanced at Amor. She didn't know why he was here but she was guarded. The information she had to tell Hexynia was critical and couldn't fall upon just anyone's ears.

Sear would have smacked himself if he could see his own face the moment his eyes set upon Amor. Shock and disbelief were two that really stood out. He quickly remained control of his expression and spoke. "...Amor, what are you doing here?"

Slash tried not to show how amused he was with Sear. Their little know-it-all was very awkward after all. But he frowned a bit and looked at his Goddess. "My Goddess, do you wish to have a word with Venezia's child? I could see what Amor wishes to speak to you about."
