In a time when Pirates ruled the seas seemed a fantasy to people today though pirate still exist in speed boats along the coast of small islands. The pirates of the past however fascinates people even to this day. The world of pirates is one many children play role plays at with friends, some even dream to be a pirate when they grow up. The pirates roamed different parts of the world, the area we speak of now is the Atlantic Ocean. The bravest and fiercest of pirate roamed these dangerous waters, where ice bergs can appear from no where, storms from a mere breath of wind, temperatures dropping or rising like the drop of a water. Hard work, slavery, abuse, alcohol, blood and scars are the world of Pirates. The pirate world is not the sweet one children dreamed of in the night in the safety of their beds. The Pirate World is cruel.

Character Name: Addison Watson
Age: 17
Personality: Shy, silent, calm
History: Grew up in system, being bounced from foster house to foster house to finally being put into a half way house. She stayed quiet all her life to avoid attention, she used her softness to hide in. She didn't want to stand out, she didn't want to be noticed, to be noticed was to be hurt. I can leave when I am 18 was her constant internal chant. The quiet didn't always helped completely but it helped some. She was viewed a simple minded, her social worker thinking she was 'touched' in the head despite having straight As in school. She saw a specialist weekly for her anti-social condition, to which she merely sat in silence while the woman tried to coax her to talk about her feelings. Addison never spoke. She kept her head down and trudged through life, did her work quickly and quietly only speaking when she had too. When she was younger she was told she was a high spirited girl but that one day when she was 3 she just shut down. No one knew what happened no matter how hard they tried to find out. Despite her quiet demeanor inside she was always screaming.

That makes two blondes. ;3

Player: Dantes_river
Character Name: Antonio Vargas or Cap'n
Age: Twenty-Four, almost Twenty-Five
Personality: Outgoing, mischievous, cunning, sly, stubborn, tough yet secretly gentle.
History: Antonio grew up in relatively normal environment. There was no traumatic events, no revenge story, no abusive family life; nothing. Nothing special ever happened. It was just the same routine of getting up, eatting breakfast, going through some lessons of future jobs, eating lunch, running errands for his parents, eating supper and going to bed every day with a few brawls here and there from other people's sons. Perhaps the monotony got to him and made him want to snap out of that routine, but whatever the reason, he ran away from home to pursue a job involving his love of the sea. Somewhere in this pursuit of change, events occurred to change him from the good boy he used to be into a swashbuckling pirate. And no, he didn't lose an eye. He just likes keeping one eye protected in case the other gets damaged somehow and to make others underestimate his ability. Like his mother, he has always made a strong leader since he was a child. In order to know the finer details, one must get to know him. That is, if they can make it past his crew. He may be a young pirate captain, but he's stupid by no means.

Addison couldn't believe it, here she stood the ocean wind blowing through her golden hair, the sun baring down warming it against the slight chill. A cruise, how on earth did she end up on a cruise. Well she knew how but she still couldn't believe it. The school had been planning the junior/senior cruise for the last year but she knew she couldn't afford it despite wanting to go. There was very few things she wanted in life and to go on a cruise in the ocean was one of them. She was terrified of boats and water but always told herself if she got the opportunity to face that fear she would. When her guidance councilor had called her into his office she thought it would be to 'open her up' but was surprised to hear that the school would be paying for her trip since they had some school funds left over.

5 days on the ocean away from the half way house was a blessing she wouldn't pass up despite her fear. She did cried a little before the trip without anyone knowing and struggled now to cry as she boarded the ship, she really was terrified but now she was enjoying herself, not smiling exactly but she was probably the happiest she had ever been in her entire life.

Dark clouds loomed in the distance and she shivered hoping the ship would by past the storm soon though she was proven wrong. She huddled in her cabin with her cabin mate after everyone had been told to go back to their cabins to wait out the storm the ship hadn't been able to get around. Her roommate flipped boredly through the TV channels which showed nothing but static until she stopped on an upper deck camera which was blurred by the rain.

"This sucks....rain on our vacation," the girl commented.

Addison just nodded as the ship rocked violently. She gasped grabbing the bed to keep from being knocked off, her roommate wasn't as lucky and was sprawled on the floor struggling to get to her feet when the boat rocked hard again and tilted violently only to stay tilted. An alarm blaring informing them they had to go to their muster station.

Both of them struggled to grab the life saving from the closet and leave the room along with hundreds of other people all struggling to say on their feet by the time their arrive people were crying and screaming, they had been stationed outside under a cover and the storm made it hard to see and hear. Suddenly the boat rocked again and continuing going, Addison was thrown off her feet and into the freezing water.

The waves swallowed her whole, pushing her deep into the water, she struggled to find her way out, to the surface for air. Her vision darken as she continued to fight suddenly remember that her body would float if she relaxed. She forced her muscle to loosen and felt herself begin to shift on its own. She knew she had to be turning purple, her lungs screamed at her but she held on kicking towards the direction she had felt her body rise to and broke the surface.

She gasped grabbing a mouthful of air blinking the bright sun from her eyes. Bright sun? That can't be right she thought, as she focused her salt water blurred vision. All around her was still calm waters, the sun glitter on the surface. Where was the storm? Where was the cruise ship? Where was all the students, staff and workers that had been standing on the deck with her.

Addison twisted in the water, panting and very near tears in her confused. Had she died? In the distance she noted a ship, she immediately began to swim that way, waving her hands over her head and shouting every once in while to get someone on board's attention, even though they were far away.

"Cap'n, it seems we hit a large storm! I told you it wouldn't be wise to head out to sea today! We're gonna sink in these conditions," a dark haired man of his early thirties shouted over the sound of rain and wind catching in the sails towards a long blonde at the wheel, one hand holding the banister to the stairs as his other hand pinned his hat to the top of his head. Instead of getting any response that admitted the younger male was incorrect on what he was doing, a maniacal laughter erupted from his direction. This fool didn't understand the laws of the sea like he did. This was his sixth sense and his intake of the weather on the sea was never wrong.

"Quit yer blubberin', ya wee idget! Go to half-sail! This is but a minor squall an' we'll live through it! I'll not be havin' any bawlin' children on my ship an' unless ya have a wish to visit Davey Jones' locker, I suggest ya stop questionin' orders," Antonio snapped back with his vicious smile never faltering in the slightest. Within the dark skinned man's eye flashed a mischievous gleam as the wind and rain began dying down rather quickly, his hands never removing themselves from the wheel as he continued guiding the ship through such a small rainstorm. "Ah~! Ya see here, laddies? The sea is calmin' herself for us. Ya just gotta speak 'er language."

He'd probably spent too much time around the Scottish and Irish seeing as his way of talking had picked up on their ways and just seemed to stick, but he didn't mind nor did his crew. From those he had on his ship as crew members, he understood quite well that they had tough skin physically and metaphorically. They were also really strong so that was useful. It was at this time, the man up top yelled about something being on the starboard side.

"No sails! What is it ya see?!" he shouted getting his men to jump into action. The man up top was watching something through his telescope while remaining rather calm so as to confirm what he saw. What in the world was he yelling about?

"It's a woman, sir! At least, it looks like one!"

"What's that supposed to mean, ya bairn?!"

"It looks like a young maiden, but I've never seen one like this before! A mermaid perhaps?" Really? Did that guy really just say it was a mermaid? Sure, he'd heard the tales of mermaids, but he'd never really seen one. He just knew there'd be a tail if it was a mermaid in water.

"Take the wheel," Antonio grumbled to the elderly man from earlier only to jump down the stairs and rolling before striding over to the ladder leading up to the crow's nest. After climbing all the way to the top, he snatched the telescope and looked out into the water for this supposed woman floating in the middle of the ocean. Coming across it, or more like her, he almost froze in place. What in the world was going on?

"Get a boat down on the starboard side and keep an eye out for enemy ships," he muttered while returning the man's telescope to him. Removing his shoes, jacket, headband and gloves, he let out a soft sigh before doing the unthinkable; climbing onto the outside of the crow's nest and down onto the poles holding up the main sails on the starboard side. While the man in the crow's nest shouted down orders of getting the small rowboat into the water, a few people were in shock over their captain creeping down the pole with just his hands and feet on it.

Nearing the end, he finally stood up before taking a flying leap off the main sails and dove down into the ocean waters without the slightest hesitation. Once under the surface, he swam upwards at an angle towards that which floated in the water calling for help from a distance. He didn't quite trust this odd woman, but he wasn't going to let her drown.

Breaking the surface at least a couple yards away from the girl, he raised an eyebrow at her. She was expending far too much energy in treading the water. Raising a hand above the surface of the water, he pointed in the direction opposite his ship before swimming that way himself a ways until he finally hit the small sandbar he'd noticed earlier from the crow's nest. It was when he reached it that he turned back to face the girl in a seated position. "Ye're definitely not a mermaid... Ye're gonna drown if ya don't calm down an' get on this here sandbar, lassie. It's gonna take 'em a little bit to get the boat over here," he stated bluntly while making a slight motion with his arms that made it look like he was treading water and lightly kicking his feet to where the water over his feet just rippled instead of splashed.

"Seriously, ye're terrible at treadin' water. Ya also realize ye're gonna attract sharks what wit' all the splashin' around, right?" he teased. Raising his voice a bit, he shouted back at the ship, "She ain't a mermaid, laddies! She be shark bait!" At his words, a roar of men laughing came from the ship as the rowboat finally settled upon the surface of the water.

Addison noticed someone swimming towards her and she could have wept with joy as she struggled to stay above water, already exhausted trying to stay afloat. This was the first time she had ever swum in her life and it was sheer desperation that was making it possible that and every swimming movie and watching the swim team where her crush was every afternoon after school while she did her studies.

When the man began to talk to her, she blinked, not understand at first because of his accent and her exhaustion before it finally registered.

"That is because I don't know how to swim, " she said hearing the panic in her voice as she struggled to the sand bar she had not noticed before.

Addison swam hard flaring in the water until her hands grabbed at the sandy edges, dragging herself onto the sand which stuck to her everywhere and normally she hated everything about sand but at that moment she didn't care, she loved it.

She trembled on the sand, running her sand covered hands through her sticky hair trying to detangled it only to fail miserably and stop only after a two tugs, instead wrapping her arms across her chest, she wasn't exactly wearing non-revealing clothes. The shirt was white and thin over a bathing suit top, in a cut off short and well her flip flops were long gone. She felt very exposed as she studied her would be rescuer, he looked like something out of a history book. Maybe he was a survivor as well from the cruise, an entertainer. Maybe there was going to a show she hadn't seen on the schedule.

At hearing the girl couldn't swim in such an odd way, the blonde's first reaction was to stare at her as she dragged herself up onto the sandbar. What in the nine blazes was she even wearing?! "Then what on God's green creation made ya think ya should be out here in the first place? Ya tryin' to get yerself killed? At least ya managed to somewhat follow my instructions on treadin' water to get over to me. If I had to drag yer sorry backside over here, I'd be hittin' ya upside the head," Antonio retorted while shifting his deep blue-grey eye back to where a few members of his crew were rowing the boat towards them. God, they moved so slow... He could row faster than they were right now. "Bairns, the lot of 'em..."

As he watched his crew taking their sweet time and bickering with each other, he noted the girl shivering in his peripheral. Oh how amusing it'd be just pushing her off the sandbar to get her to stop that crap would be. This ended up with his fingers tapping against his knee impatiently.

"Seriously, lassie. What were ya doin' way out here and where did ya come from? There hasn't been a ship around for days ya could've come from an' that squall wouldn't've sunk one. 'Sides, ya got all this weird stuff on ya," Antonio asked curiously while briefly poking the lifevest on the girl. At having done that, the men from the ship and the rowboat all seemed to erupt with protests at their captain making the first move on the first woman they'd come across in days. Of course, the blonde male gave a heavy sigh at how childish his crew truly could be over one woman after having been away from man for several days.

"Shut yer traps 'fore I feed ya all to the bloody fishes! Ingrates... Row like ya mean it damnit," the captain snapped making the man rowing the boat start rowing a bit faster. Once they reached the sandbar, the second man on the rowboat stepped out onto the sandbar and hefted the girl up without the slightest bit of hesitation whereas Antonio just climbed in and took up the first man's position of rowing the boat. As soon as everyone was in the boat, he turned the boat around and began making his way back to the larger ship with long, powerful strokes with the oars.

"No, ya idgets. She ain't Calypso either so our ship ain't gonna be cursed or extremely blessed by pullin' her outta the ocean. Stop wit' the wary glances already. I expect answers from ya, lassie, an' we'll see how it goes from there," the blonde male growled as he attempted to ignore the way the two men were studying the woman sitting beside the burly man who'd picked her up a little while ago. You'd think she were a mermaid the way his men were watching her so very cautiously.

"Cap'n, ya really shouldn't've jumped from the ship like ya did."

"Ye're right, father. I'll never do it again," Antonio responded to the slightly smaller man who'd attempted lecturing him, sarcasm heavily laced within his words. "The way ya laddies move, she'd've drowned. The wee lass can't even tread water much less spot a sandbar just beneath the sea's surface. She be a landlubber; shark bait."

"It was still reckless, Cap'n... Girlie, you'd best be thankin' our cap'n for the help he's givin' ya."

(she is not wearing life vest, she never put it on, hence why she almost drowned lol)

Addison watched the small bow approached and studied the man, no other ships? Was he mad or pulling her leg? She didn't think it was funny it he was making a joke. No this man was most definitely not from the cruise ship, he seem to know who and what the other ship was and almost seemed like it might be his. She was very confused and her head was starting to ache. The cruise ship must have sank and she might be the only survivor and they hadn't know about it...that must be it.

She jerked back when he tugged on her thin white shirt and she couldn't help but wondered what was wrong with her clothing, it was just regular clothing that one would wear on a cruise at the end of summer. She heard an outcry from the tiny ships when he touched her and she jerked her head around wondering what kind of man was sitting with her if the crew reacted that way.

Addison couldn't pin point his accent to save her life, she wanted to said irish but they was something underneath that snuck in that made it roll like the waves of the ocean. She had yet to answer any of his questions deciding to stay silent until she absolutely had to speak, because she had no idea who these men were and the little they knew about her the better for now.

Addison needed and wanted to know about these people and why they seemed so odd and there was something off about this whole thing. She couldn't help the squeal of surprise when she was lifted up and plopped into the small row boat. She scrambled away from everyone and studied them as they studied her obviously distrusting and wary. What could they possibly fear about me, she wondered.

"No, ya idgets. She ain't Calypso either so our ship ain't gonna be cursed or extremely blessed by pullin' her outta the ocean. Stop wit' the wary glances already. I expect answers from ya, lassie, an' we'll see how it goes from there," the man who had been with her on the sand dune snapped
.

Her head whipped around to another man who called this man cap'n. Captain...as in the ship they were now fast approaching. Who on earth were these people and why were they dressed like old history sailors like from pirates of the Caribbean.

Addison felt her heart stop with that thought and turn to studied each in turn, they were pirates. That had to be it, modern date pirated who had a flare of the dramatic so they dressed up like historic pirates and talked like them to feel more the part. That was it. She had been rescued by pirates. Pirates did bad things to females they picked up in the water.

Great, she though, out of the frying pan and into the fire. Addison wondered what she had done in a past life to deserved such a crappy life now. One thing was for sure anyone try to touch her and she would scratch out their eyeballs.

Seeing as the girl was stuck in the middle of the small rowboat out of what he could only guess was fear, the blonde male let out a slight snort which got the other two men to start chuckling. "Ye're definitely a landlubber. Just keep from rockin' the boat like when ya were gettin' in," Antonio grunted as he stopped rowing. Setting his fingers to his lips, he gave a shrill whistle only to smile when four ropes dropped down over the side of the ship. It was at this time that the two other men began securing the smaller boat whereas their captain was already headed up the wooden ladder design on the ship's exterior. Once high enough, he glanced down at the girl and gave a heavy sigh. Chiquitita was about as useless as a day without even the slightest breeze.

Climbing back down the side of the ship, he briefly snapped his fingers in front of her face. She was looking as terrified as his men when they thought she might be the woman who loved Davey Jones. "I suggest you get all of your answers straight before I toss ya back into the bloody sea. I'd've rather picked up Davey Jones himself than a useless pequeño chiquitita," Antonio advised in a slightly darker and heavier Spanish accent making his men snicker. They knew quite well that his patience was wearing thin when his original accent came into play and she must've been wearing his patience quickly with her silence.

"Ya might wanna start talkin' once ya reach the deck, girlie. Our cap'n was nice enough to save yer sorry arse, but don't think he won't feed ya back to the sea if ya irritate him. He's made people walk the plank for less," the burly man growled while briefly glancing up at his captain already climbing back onto the deck of the ship. He'd swear that young man was part monkey the way he could climb nearly anything with incredible speed. He didn't waste time waiting for the rowboat to be secured so he could be lifted to the top by the rest of his crew. No, he was too independent for that. It was the crew who depended on him after all. "We're secure, Cap'n!"

"Ya heard him, ya bairns! We ain't got all damn day," Antonio could be heard snapping before a chorus of men's voices began their chant of "Heave!" while the small rowboat began the slight jerky and swaying motions of the boat being lifted from the water a few feet at a time. The burly man still on the rowboat, of course, kept the girl away from the edges so she didn't plummet back into the ocean whereas the slightly smaller man held onto the two ropes securing the boat on one side.

Once they reached the top and the boat settled atop the ship, Antonio was already in everything he'd dropped before plunging into the ocean and was now sitting upon a wooden crate. At seeing his men get out of the rowboat, he smiled mischievously at them before his gaze finally settled upon the girl. "So... Am I gonna have to cut off yer fingers and toes until ya remember how to speak or would ya prefer meetin' up wit' the sharks again?" he purred smoothly as the burly man hefted up the girl and stood her in front of his captain. Might as well get it done and over with.

Addison remained silent at the threats and suggestions. Really what did it matter what she said they would do with her what they liked, it was not like she could fight them off. One yes, maybe two but a ship filled with them, no a chance. Her head lifted to study the ship, her golden hazel eyes widen as she saw it, it was most definitely a pirate ship. How on earth they did do it. It looked just out of a story book. She was sure they managed it just as like the old days. She couldn't help but be impressed, she knew it was a lot of work to run a ship like this. Now away there were gadgets and automatic systems that did everything for you but to actually sail a ship like it was done for centuries before technology was truly a feat to be had.

Her head snapped to the 'cap'n' when he snapped his fingers in her face, which she found rude and wanted to bite them just to spite him. The spanish surprised her. She was actually very fluent having taken spanish as her language credit since middle school, but the switch from irish to spanish was unusual and she wondered if he was many half and half.

When the small boat was hauled up, she grabbed the side to keep from tumbling back on her seat. She tensed when the burly man who his hand on her wrist to keep her steady but he didn't touch her more then that for which she was glad. Once the small boat was secure men began to disembark onto the main ship. She didn't make a sound with the burly man lifted her up and put her on the main deck, she was rather proud of herself because when he had grabbed her earlier she had squealed like a pig in shock.

"So... Am I gonna have to cut off yer fingers and toes until ya remember how to speak or would ya prefer meetin' up wit' the sharks again?"

Addison lifted her golden hazel eyes to him, her arms crossed across her chest, her golden hair a tangled mess around her pale pinched face, her clothes starting to dry but felt stiff and itchy from the salt and sand. She was currently very annoyed, frustrated, terrified and uncomfortable which she honestly couldn't remember a time she felt this much emotion.

"What is it you want me to say? cap'n," she said her voice soft, cool and musical, she added the end with a bit of snap.

Others around them muttered and commented.

"she be siren I te' ya!"

"She be Davey Jones bairn, half mortal, half siren. Hav' ya e'er see eyes like that?"

Showing a faint hint of surprise, Antonio slid off of the top of the crate so he was mere inches in front the girl albeit looking down at her seeing as he was at least half a foot taller. "I believe... One second," the blonde male started in a brief snicker only to let out a low growl when his crew's voices began drowning out his own. Padding slightly to where he was standing in front of one of the other men, he briefly flicked a blonde hair away from his face so it'd stop sticking. When the man noticed he hadn't said anything yet, he could be seen gulping before the captain punched him in the gut and kicking him over.

"Idíotas! Ella es no siren! Silencío before I knock your teeth outta your heads! Madre de Dios," Antonio snapped, his full Spanish kicking in at the beginning. Seeing several of them looking at him questioningly, he slapped a hand against his forehead. This was so frustrating at times. Removing his hand, he took a deep breath before opting to just give them orders than repeat himself. "Full sail! I ain't puttin' up wit' laziness on my ship! Get to work!"

Returning to where he was standing before the girl as the men scattered to get the ship moving, Antonio lazily set his hands together behind his back. "They be idgets an' very superstitious o' this here sea. As for ye're question, lass... Well, ye're not really in the position to be askin' questions. 'Sides, if ya were payin' any attention whatsoever on that there sandbar, I asked ya several questions ya were too daft to answer then. An' this here attitude ye have goin' on, get rid of it real quicklike. Ye're obviously a landlubber so ya don't understand the rules of the sea an' ye're new to the ship so it be understandable that ya wouldn't know the ship's rules either. It be forgiven by the cap'n of the ship this time, but if it isn't fixed, it returns to Davey," Antonio almost seemed to pur as he began walking around the female with soft thuds from each foot hitting the boards that made up the deck. Stopping once he reached the front of the girl again, he lightly flicked her between the eyes. "This here is my ship an' therefore any who set foot upon it are either here to serve under my orders, here to bargain or here to meet Davey Jones. Considerin' ya were shriekin' like a banshee for us to help you, I'd say none of those were yer intent, but still, I made my men go out there to get ya. That means I did ya a favor an' ye're now in debt to me. In order to return a favor such as savin' yer life, lassie, ya would have to save mine to make all fair an' 'til I need ya savin' my life, ye're gonna hafta stay on my ship. This means I have to know the newest addition to my crew; where ya came from, what ya were doin' flounderin' about in the ocean like shark bait, what in Davey's name ye're wearin', yer name an' so on. In addition, ya have to abide by the captain's rules on this here ship an' I'm the cap'n. Savvy?"

Removing a boot and chunking it at a few of his men, Antonio gave a low, irritable growl. "She ain't a siren in the slightest, ya wee idgets! Get to work already," he snapped, the men giving an audible shout of how they were getting to work. Shooting a slight glare at the girl, he crossed his arms over his chest. "Start talkin' an'd don't forget to tell me what ya think ya can contribute to this vessel of mine. Just remember, lass, I can always just toss ya back out so ye can feed the fishes instead seein' as there be no land in sight as we are."

User ImageAddison Watson

17 years old

Grew up in system, being bounced from foster house to foster house
to finally being put into a half way house.
She stayed quiet all her life to avoid attention,
she used her softness to hide in.
She didn't want to stand out, she didn't want to be noticed,
to be noticed was to be hurt.
I can leave when I am 18 was her constant internal chant.
The quiet didn't always helped completely but it helped some.
She was viewed a simple minded, her social worker
thinking she was 'touched' in the head despite having straight As in school.
She saw a specialist weekly for her anti-social condition,
to which she merely sat in silence while the woman tried
to coax her to talk about her feelings.
Addison never spoke.
She kept her head down and trudged through life, did her work quickly and quietly only speaking when she had too.
When she was younger she was told she was
a high spirited girl but that one day when she was 3 she just shut down.
No one knew what happened no matter how hard they tried to find out.
Despite her quiet demeanor inside she was always screaming.

Addison was really tempted to talk back in spanish to this man just to knock him down a peg from his high ego but decided to keep that skill a secret, who she fein some more confusion when he spoke Spanish then strained to understand his accented English. She wanted to call him out on his bad fake accent of a pirate but it sounded very authentic, so she would just look like an idiot. She noted the scared looks of the men as they studied her with quick glances as they scrambled around the deck.

Skills, she could only think of one and they would really make them think she was a siren. She loved to sing despite her quiet nature and the school choir teacher caught her once in the auditorium after school singing and literally begged her to join which she strongly declined before all but running off. The teacher continued to hound her over the last two years. Well she could cook, she cooked for the children and foster partner in her previous foster homes. They always seem to like her cooking and the children said she was a great cook.

"Um...your accent is a bit thick Captain give me a moment to process please," she said slowly thinking out her words before she spoke, better she keep the man happy.

"I owe you a life debt. I agree with that," she said, because it was true, he saved her life but he hadn't had to and she was grateful regardless of where she had ended up.

"My name is Addison Watson," she said, the guy would have thought she was was England with her last name if she had had an accent which she didn't, beside the last name was made up since she had been dumped in front of a church when she was a day old.

"I am 17 years old, I was on a school cruise when a storm sank the ship, I was tossed into the water. I am wearing a shirt, shorts, and a bikini, t is there something wrong with that?" she asked really confused even if the guy was role playing that was going a little too far.

"My only skill I can think of is cooking. I can cook pretty well, at least the others have told me. I like what I cook," she added with a shrug.

Her tongue and throat hurt, she didn't know if it was because of the salt water she had swallowed or because this was the most she had ever spoken at once. Addison was also tired, the stress, fear, sun and swimming made her legs feel like jelly and she was shock she was still standing when all she wanted was a bath and a nap.

"Is there anything else you wanted to know, captain?" she asked trying to keep the sass out of her voice but failing miserably.

There was a look in that girl's eye he almost wanted to slap her for, but he wasn't going to. At least for now he wasn't going to slap the sarcasm and sass out of her. Seeing as she was now speaking, however, he pushed himself back atop the wooden crate with an almost cheerful expression set into place. During the brief pause after the blonde woman had said her "um", one of the men handed him his boot back and he started sliding it back on. It wasn't like he could blame them for not knowing his first language. The only other person who spoke Spanish was his righthand man and right now, he was steering the ship on it's course.

"Now, now, chiquitita. I know you know that I speak Spanish as my first language. I still be workin' on my German for when I be mad. Spanish isn't exactly as harsh a language, but it comes out when I get frustrated. The Scottish-Irish accent is from spendin' so much time around them. They be far more fun than swimmin' with sharks~. If ya need someone explainin' what someone said, I'd suggest askin' the man up there steerin' the ship right now or the ship's cook, whom you'll be spendin' a lot of quality time gettin' to know," Antonio crooned in a far less vicious tone of voice now that his men were too busy trying to keep the ship running. He even dropped the Scottish accent to where his words flowed in a smooth Spanish accent. So what if he interrupted her after she said his accent was a little thick? She was the one showing attitude on his ship after he saved her life out of the kindness of his heart.

Ah~! So her name was Addison Watson. He'd guess she was British if it weren't for one thing; the lack of an accent. She had no accent that he'd know of whatsoever! He'd have to discuss this with the elder man that served as his righthand man tonight. As it got to her explaining why she was in the water and what she was wearing, however, confusion seemed to start settling in. She was seventeen and still single? What the heck was a cruise and a bikini? At least he was thinking right when he made the choice of saddling the ship's cook with her though, seeing as she said she could cook.

Raising his hand up to his shoulder's height, he used the other hand to scratch his jaw. "Okay, Miss Watson... I believe I heard ya correctly, but I have a few pequeño questiones. Firstly; tu es diecisiete y... You're unmarried? Secondly; que es this cruise you speak of? Thirdly; que es this bikini? And fourthly; are ya wearin' children's clothes? These are muy, muy pequeño for anyone but kids to wear... Where's your corset or at least somethin' not showin' off so much skin? Are ya intendin' to be a harlot?" he finally responded before giving off a sigh and removing his boots, gloves and headband again. It just felt like everything was sticking like his hair to his face and back. He'd been far too lazy with his hair and now the ponytails it was in were just helping it bug the heck out of him.

"Once we're done with the questioning, we'll see about any clothes not soaked all the way through with salt water for ya. Then I'll introduce ya to the ship's cook and he will give you orders on what to do afterwards. You can sleep once night falls," Antonio added with a hint of his gentle nature in his smile.
