Joshua had woken up a bit late that morning from working on the next chapter of his novel that he couldn't get out of his head until he wrote it on paper. He stayed there on his bed, feeling his eyes heavy and his body heavy as well. Eventually he got up and took a quick shower, air-drying his hair and forgetting all about breakfast. He put the sheets of paper of the chapter he wrote into a folder and placed that folder into a bag that also carried his laptop with some of his chapters already typed up. He put on a white t-shirt, a pair of dark blue jeans and a black sweater. He put on a small military necklace that used to belong to a close cousin of his and left the house, ignoring the fact his stomach was growling for food.

He went to the office building where he worked, a tall 23 story high skyscraper and walked in. He went to the elevator and pressed the button for the fifteenth floor. He waited a while in silence with a few people in the elevator as well and got out once the elevator opened for his floor. He walked all the way to his office and was surprised to see that there was a woman inside his office. Not only that put also pretty attractive as well. He stood at the door staring at her for a seconds and shook his head lightly when he realized what he was doing. "Sorry about that. Didn't mean to stare," he said, walking to his desk and placing his laptop bag on the table. "Um...you must be..." he was saying, cutting himself off so that she could tell him her name.

Joshua nodded and shook her outstretched hand, noticing her tattoo, but also brushing it off. He face-palmed himself when she said she was his new assistant. "That's right. I forgot they told me they hired a new assistant. I'm sorry, I-I wasn't ready for you to come work here so soon. They must have found something special in you to hire you so soon and work immediately," he said, cleaning up the mess of papers on his desk to make space for everything. He looked at her with a shy smile. "By the way, my name's Joshua Burn. Though the rest of the world knows me as Louis Hernandez." He nodded when she said she got him some coffee and saw there was some breakfast ready for him to eat on his desk and looked back at her. "Did you get me this breakfast?" he asked curiously. He normally didn't have his assistants get him breakfast or be there ready to serve.

Joshua sat down at his desk taking out his laptop and listening to everything she had already done and was pretty shocked she was done with all of that already. "Wow. Even I couldn't complete all of that before finishing my work," he said, praising her. "I normally go get my own lunch since I had to do everything on my own, but you can do that if you want to. I won't stop you. Thanks for everything, though." He put his hands up a bit to show that it was her that it was her decision to make without any pressure. He opened up his laptop and took out the pages he had written the night before. "Can you look over these pages and tell me your opinion on them? I prefer having a second opinion on my chapters before typing them up and sending them off to publish," he said, handing them over to her and getting out some other papers he was working on.

Joshua chuckled when she mentioned his father and how her father was trying to get him to take up the company. He shook his head when she called him 'Mr. Burn'. "Please. Just call me Joshua. I tell that to everyone so I don't get confused with my father. Take your time reading them if you'd like. It isn't on a deadline and I just wrote it last night so I haven't checked it this morning," he told her. He took the folders that she told him his father wanted him to look over. "Thank you for telling me," he said, noticing her hair had started to fall down and make her look more attractive than before. He blushed a tiny bit, but hoped it wasn't very noticeable. When she asked him something, he shook his head to both answer her and to get rid of his blush. "N-nothing else. You can go, Six," he told her and looked through the folders she handed him.

Joshua was doing his work and was typing up his other chapters, forgetting all about the time it was. When he heard a knock on the door, he looked up to see Six with some lunch. He checked his watch to see what time it was and was surprised to see that it was already lunch time. "Time for lunch already?" he said aloud to himself. He closed his laptop and moved it aside so he could eat his lunch. "Sure. Go ahead," he said, extending a hand so that she could sit down. He thought up a way to answer her question about his chapters. It was hard for him to explain what goes through his head at those times when he writes them. "Well, I was always a bookworm when I was a kid and always tried to come up with my own stories. I use other books as reference, but only the reference book types like how to use Morse codes or history books. I always get these ideas that never seem to leave me alone until I write them down. I-it's pretty hard to explain it all but my mind just never seems to organize everything I come up with. Do you know what I mean?" He wasn't sure if she understood what she meant since not many people could keep up with what he says when he talks quickly.
