 The reddish and black colored male couldn't help wondering if he should try and make friends. The last time he'd tried doing that, he'd been a pup, and it hadn't all been the easiest of process he had to admit. That however didn't stop him from wondering what it would be like to have some one around other than Asher, who was a complete a*****e. "Whats a fellow to do?" he tsked his tongue, those bright fushia eyes closed as he sighed that tail flicking rather cat like. The thought made him laugh, not everyone was going to be an uppity snob he had to be reasonable.
Shaking his head, he was about to go back to his room for the afternoon but instead wandered out of the audio shelter he called home poking around curiously half bored, half looking for something to do. "s**t, I should just go play a video game." He pouted, as he padded back inside feeling silly for walking in and out.

 Chika was meandering around town, poking away at her tablet. She was having a hard time getting through the level of this game she was playing and it was nothing more than a pain in her butt! Finally she levied a hefty sigh, conceding defeat while she stuffed it back into her backpack. She'd just kick it's butt later then!
Out of the corner of her eye, she thought she caught a glance of someone. Her ears flopped about a bit, and she tilted her head. Strange, maybe she hadn't seen right. She eyed the building for a moment before making her way over.
"Hullo?" she called into the area, not wanting to intrude but her curiosity was getting the better of her.
"Anyone there?" the audio's fluffy striped and splotched tail batted around behind her, suddenly questioning why exactly she had felt compelled to go see who was there. Like it was any of her business, yeesh. Maybe she should just go.

Jamil's ears perked some, at least as much as the one that was flopped over would permit. He swore he heard some one call out to him. His tail flared up some, gaze flickering around wondering who had called out. Poking his head back out the door he peered at the site of a girl who seemed to be curious what was up. A small smile formed on his face as he timidly waved at her. The audio was curious, who was she? Her markings were rather vivid, he had to admit.
" 'ello." he chimed in greeting giving a nod of his head as he moved into view not using half the door frame to hide himself. He wasn't that painfully shy, but it was easy to be jumpy around a stranger. Even if this one happened to be a pretty one. "What brings you to this side of town?" he peered at her curiously, his tail swished all the while.

Oh hey! There was someone actually here! That was great! She wasn't just seeing things (she'd been starting to think she'd just been staring at her tablet for too long at this point). A broad grin crossed the girl's face and her tail stopped nervously swishing.
"Hi!" she chirped back enthusiastically, but had to stop and make a confused face as she suddenly turned to look back around the town.
...
Well bugger, where exactly was she anyway?
"Oh uh," she started off, nervously laughing at herself, "I guess I just got to into my... work..." yeah she'd go with that, "didn't realize where I was walking." shaking her head she just shrugged it off, extending a hand to him.
"I'm Chika. Sorry to bother you, but I just thought I saw someone over here so I uh, well I guess I can be a little nosy." the grin was back, persisting through her own awkwardness.

Jamil didn't mind the awkwardness at all really, he'd made a fool of himself enough times in a conversation to be forgiving of those who had a similar trouble getting the right words out. When she extended a paw, he took it with his own grasping firming and shaking. "I'm Jamil~ It's nice to meet you Chika." he replied offering he a smile, chuckling some.
"It's ok, sorry to be asking you something like that. Don't always see a new face every day." he noted, willing himself to settle down as well feeling his nervous energy keeping his tongue going. He moved to sit down on the steps that would have led inside, giving her his full attention. Normally he'd be back on his DS by now, or staring at a computer screen. This worked nicely although...
"You have a tablet?" he noticed it gawking some when he realized what it was, given the device was put away. Although the male was pretty sure thats what she was carrying. He gave her a look, sort of half staring more amazed than anything really.

"Nice to meet you too, Jamil." the grin remained plastered on her maw, she was more than thrilled to be speaking to someone new.
"Hey it seems like a fair question, no worries there. I mean, I did just kinda stick my head into your place here." she laughed, giving a quick shrug of her shoulders as she did. She watched as he took his seat on the steps, and her attention was quickly drawn to his sudden interest in her tablet.
"Huh? Oh! Yeah, yeah I do." she pulled her backpack to her front and dug it out, holding it out to show him.
"It's just a small one, I don't like dragging around the big one when I'm walking. It's pretty handy though, keeps me mostly on schedule. Not... not that I really have anything scheduled. Huh. Anyways, no. I uh, I mostly play games on it, actually. Kills the time when I'm not at home playing." she tapped the bandana on her head with the obvious reference to mmo healer callouts.
"What can I say though, gotta have hobbies right?" her grin was a little more sheepish this time, not everyone appreciated gaming the way she did. Even still, a lot of gamer's wouldn't really consider the silly little mindless games on tablets as real gaming either.
She just liked a variety of stuff and silly little games were heaped in as well as MMOs. Long as she was having fun really.

Jamil nodded at her when she said it was fine, he looked sheepish as he rubbed the back of his neck. "To be fair I don't mind at all. Really!" he smiled then, his tail thudding lightly against the stone step. Okay, way to sound like a huge loser he inwardly scolded himself.
To late to back out now! "Kinda an unexpected nice change." he concluded, winking. He gave the item she held up in question a curious look, his floppy ear perked some as he chuckled nodding. "I usually play my hand held, or console~" he replied thoughtfully. "PC gaming isn't so bad I guess." The male shrugged tapping his chin. "I have a bad habit of watching cartoons all the time, gotta admit." he noted sheepishly. "I never grew out of that."
"Hobbies are always huge yea, makes it hard to get along if you don't have a few in common." he chuckled. "Online gaming, and blogging." he concluded tilting his head back so he could look up at her.

Chika's head tilted and her tail flicked a bit when Jamil winked at her. She wasn't sure she understood why he did that but quickly brushed it off when he moved into speaking about console games. Ah! He played games too! That was great! Was always nice to meet other people who played video games, even if it wasn't on a computer.
"I have a handheld but I usually forget to charge it so when I go to play I'm plugged into the wall. Heh." she laughed in spite of herself, moving to tuck her tablet back away.
"Nothing wrong with cartoons either, I watch some." once she was done stuffing the tablet away she looked back. "Well, some may be an understatement but you know how it goes."
"You blog?" her head tilted in the other direction now, honestly curious about that little tidbit.

He really hadn't meant much by it, he was naturally on the dorky side it came from not being around a lot of new people face to face. He grinned, nodding some at her. "Yea..I do. I wouldn't call Tumblr "true" blogging...but close enough." The male trailed off chuckling sheepishly. "More like..rambling, and picture reblogging. Nothing TO special." He shrugged some a bit absent minded.
"Ha, same. I'm glad I don't have to worry about a billion batteries at least for them!" He shook his head. "I'm bad and usually play while watching tv..just depends I guess?" Jamil tilted his head half curiously. "I'm kinda wanting to try the new elder scrolls online..but I dunno." He looked back at her frowning some.
"I guess. I don't have that many online gamer friends~ So it's kinda cool to know girls actually do play video game heh." He wasn't being rude, the honest look in his eyes was too kind. More of a pleasantly surprised comment really. Curious now, the male asked "You think some time you'd want to play a game on the DS with me or..whatever?" His tail wagged, not really expecting her to even say yes.

"Oh!" Tumblr, she was vaguely familiar with the site. The audio was fairly certain she'd signed up for it before but then completely forgot about it after a few days of trying to keep up with it. Besides, it took away from her other things to do but at least she still had an idea of what he'd been talking about.
"Ugh batteries." she sighed overly dramatic like for a moment but then just grinned once more about it. "I'm pretty sure I'm constantly trying to charge one thing or another. The new Elder Scrolls is supposed to be fun, I haven't picked it up myself yet though it's on my list."
The audio's ears bounced around on her head a little as the boy began to frown, and she had a momentary knee-jerk reaction to his comment about girls playing video games, but his sincerity (and she hoped she wasn't wrong on reading that) kept her from snipping about it.
Which was good since he continued on to ask her to game -with- him.
"Oh, yeah!" her ears perked back up and she nodded her head enthusiastically.
"That'd be great." she pulled her bookbag forward again and yanked out some paper and a pen, quickly jotting something down.
"Here," she offered it out to Jamil, "my DS friend code. I have a bunch of games so I can likely play whatever with you."

"Yea, I kinda wanna try it. Dunno, I'll likely stick to my hand held." he shrugged, musing more or less as he drummed his fingers against the step. "It's all kinda if I play with some one, and if it's actually worth it." He shrugged. His Tumblr usage was limited, but still something worth mentioning. Every now and then he'd poke around. "And yea..I'd prefer to be plugged into a wall vs. a dead console. Its why playstation rocks~" he laughed.
Ok. So the girl gaming thing was a lame comment. He'd known that about the moment it came out of his jaws, but at least the male audio filed that away under 'things one shouldn't ask'. "Oh! Alright thanks~" he studied the number, half curious as to what it was, his tail swished side to side as he smiled sheepishly. "I have a few..AC, Pokemon etc." (I can give you my friend code for my 3DS btw if you have one Yin! <3)
He gave her an apologetic look when her fur ruffled some and was very quick to ask otherwise face the wrath of some one who could likely take him on, and win. Jamil looked relieved as her enthusiasm picked back up. At least he hadn't completely stuck his foot in his mouth.
"Hey..thanks for keeping me company by the way Chika." The male stated suddenly rubbing the back of his neck some in that same hesitant manner, but this time with a smile. It happened when one didn't really chat much with strangers, but they seemed to be managing. "You seem like a pretty rad gal." he noted before folding the paper neatly and holding onto it so he wouldn't lose it.

"Oh, heh, it's no problem. It's been fun chatting with you." she had to laugh at the use of the word 'rad', she hadn't heard that one in forever. Perhaps she needed to invest in a boombox and some parachute pants.
... Nah.
"Anyway, when I get home I'll see if you added that friend code and I'll add you back on my DS as well." she was trying to let him know that she'd like to keep in contact with him, was always, always, fun to meet other people who gamed. Plus you could never have too many people to play with.
"And if I ever pick up Elder Scrolls you should get it and try it out with me." the grin on her face was genuine, MMO's were still her favourite way to play with other people. Easier to talk on a headset than to type out over a small little handheld.

(( xD ahh I'll just toss you it here if you want! 2423-2588-4432 is my friend code! I usually play pokemon x/y, AC new leaf, Shin Megami Tensei IV, mario 3d world, I also have ocarina of time and a few other titles xP <3
Also I was wondering if we wanted to just pass time/keep using this thread for when they are home playing together? Or close this meet and greet and open another one? Ive enjoyed our little rping so either is fine with me if your game~? ))
Jamil gave the paper in his hand a small squeeze as the male smiled suddenly, nodding in understanding. He might have been a bit of an odd ball, but he defiantly enjoyed chatting with her, so the fact she was indicating she'd play with him was awesome.
"I'll add ya once I step back inside sure things, I have some pokemon to train whenever I get around to it." he grinned at her his ears perking up some, glad to have established some kind of mutual friendship with the female.
"Yea? I'll go zombie hunting in Left 4 Dead if you got that too." He laughed, a bit sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Likely if I keep my headset muted. I get a bit hyped up." He admitted. "But yea, we'll do something soon." Jamil stood up, giving a small stretch causing his tail to flare up some, a small apology for the yawn.
"Otherwise, we'll have to hang out again if your ever on this side of town." He glanced at her, those bright fuchsia eyes looking thoughtful. "Guess it depends eh?"

(( 8D; I can't find my charger so I will add it as soon as I can xd I play Pokemon X, Mario 3D world, Monster Hunter, Pokemon Rumble Blast and Luigi's mansion mostly xd
Also we can close this one and start another when we want them to game together! ))
Chika was quite pleased that Jamil was going to actually add her. She enjoyed talking with him as well, and they had games in common for sure. More people to play with the better.
"Ugh, I'm so behind on Pokemon." she laughed, "I keep getting distracted by all the other games. Haven't beat all the gyms even yet!" she shook her head.
"Left 4 Dead is great, I do have that. I'll send you a note over the DS with my steam name. Nothing wrong with getting hyped up though so you don't have to stay muted." she laughed, reaching up to adjust her bandana some, then giggling slightly as his tail flared up. It was kind of cute.
"Maybe we can make plans to meet up sometime." she just met the gaze, appreciating the idea of hanging out again. Really, she needed to hang out with people on a more regular basis anyway. Cooped up in the house way too much as it was.
"I found my way down here once, I'm sure it'll happen again." she added at the end of it all, before extending her paw to shake his again.
"Was really nice to meet you, Jamil."
