The burning capital of Gehenna, found in the very center of Tartarus which was known as the Demon City; but the very heart of the city was the territory of flame, and the strong hold of the oldest of all the Children of Satan; the Kingdom of Iblis. Castle Iblis, being the very center of the whole city. The castle was surrounded by a sea of crimson flames while the crown of the castle shined with the golden flames which were stimulated by the Lord of Flames himself; Iblis. The castle was crawling with demons of various ranks and titles, but along the base of the castle where one could enter the castle were the gate keepers; they were hooded in black, riding along burning skeleton horses that were once Kirin. These gate keepers patrolled the grounds constantly as specters rather than actual guards. The true guards of the kingdom were the Cerberus that were perched outside of the burning gates engulfed in flames, high in statue. Demons that came this far into Gehenna were normally only the Flame Hazes whom had authority to leave the watchful eyes of Iblis for extended periods of time. Those whom weren’t fit to leave the city or the Kingdom feared their Lord more than anyone else, although to their knowledge it was like this for every Kingdom within Gehenna.

The castle grounds were vast, and for a good reason; the fiery body of their lord was so great, that it towered over the very castle in which he lived. Wings of golden flame stretched from his back, and bull like horns protruding from both sides of his head. His body was as if it was made up of flames themselves, but not like a fiend; his body didn’t wear the flames as if it was some sort of armor. It was more so the flames were a part of his very skin. His chest defined by the golden and crimson flames spewing through the massive muscles. Eyes that glowed with a bright white light that was so bright one could mistake it for the very sun. For this reason the castle throne room was at the very center and it did not have a roof. The King of Fire wasn’t just feared for his power and great size, but for his compassion and loyalty. Iblis believed in fair trial but in keeping the order of things, and for this, he rivaled with his siblings in order to establish full control over Gehenna in respect to his father.

The air around the castle was thin due to the extreme heat, the stones were melted to the ground and glowed with the light of burning Qi as a light source. Walking up the long flight of stairs in order to reach the castle gates with crimson hair following behind her, was the young demon whom was known simply as Flame Haze and not by her given name; Shana. Embers danced along her small body as she held her demon sword at her side, her giant crimson wings draped behind her as she walked even dragging behind her as she continued her climb. Her appearance was announced through the kingdom as the keepers of the gates moved along side of her on their horses in order to pass the information back to the main hall. The young girl’s eyes aimed forward and towards a single goal; to deliver her report and obtain her orders. Although as she reached the courtyard, she was circled by demons in crimson armor; their humanoid appearance told her they were of a high class, although the fact they circled her and bared weapons only told her they were here to attack her. ”Alastor…get ready.” she whispered to the sword as her wings opened wide, this caused the males to back away slowly before one came towards her with a large axe. Shana switched her gaze from the large golden gates before her to the left to watch the male. ”The Axe of Despair? I see, so you’re with Kirei’s group, too bad I don’t plan on going down so easily.” she deducted as she moved towards the male and unsheathed her sword causing the metal to clash and create sparks. ”You’re in my way.” she hissed as her demonic eyes burned with the very flames that began to appear around her blade. He hands shook as she struggled to hold herself against the pure strength of her opponent, but soon the others began to attack.

But before she could finish apologizing her eyes opened wide as the flames engulfed her once more and she was given her answer. The doors to the castle shut and the flames died down from Shana’s body. ”But sir…she’s your daughter…You can’t really expect me to kill Sissy...Can you?” Shana questioned out loud to herself as clinched the warm stone under her hands and reached over to grab her sword. ”Shana, what will you do then?” asked Alastor as Shana picked herself up and sheathed the demon sword. ”I’ll do as I was ordered. I’ll kill her, of course.” Shana said as she began to walk out of the courtyard and passed by the remaining flames that were of the fiends that attacked her. Too bad they were nothing but toys to the man she hated more than humans; Kirei, a fiend that was the commander of Iblis’ army; her superior, and rival for the favor of the Demon King. He was a skilled blacksmith, and specialized in forging demon souls into weapons. It’s said that he was one of the first Demon of Gehenna to wield a Demon Weapon, as well as the smith who placed Alastor’s soul into the weapon that she wielded. Shana continued walking through the archways and soon made it to the stairs. Her wings spread open and her chest pressed outwards as she pushed off of the ground and began to fly through the kingdom, to continue her mission she was assigned.

Shana’s feet soon came in contact to the ground after she made her decent from the air. She turned and looked up at the castle that was floating within the sky as large burners of fire kept it hovering in the air. It was like a flying castle in the way the flames kept it in the air. Shana had never seen the area ever move other than for hovering, but it could have been possible; to think that she was born in this very castle. Shana closed her eyes and turned her back to the castle. ”Let’s go Alastor, our mission is to watch Sissy and upon contact bring her back to Lord Iblis; should she refuse we are to kill her and anyone else that gets in the way. For she is one of the true keys of Gehenna; and Lord Iblis’ light, without her, I fear for our country.” Shana said as she began to walk along the burning sea, which was nothing more than flames rising along the side of the stone path; covering it in red flames. The young Flame Haze continued walking with her head held high and heels clicking along the stone. ”Just don’t overdo it this time, you did a little more than a small warning attack on the school; what if the humans were injured in the process? The non-Exorcist ones?” Alastor asked as the girl continued her stride ignoring his question until she made it out of the burning sea. Shana turned back to look at the castle in the distance and then smirked. ”What does it matter anyways, they were just going to die later, if they died so easily then they aren’t worth anything but being food to us. Humans are so fragile and simple minded; to think that you use to be the great King of Fiends; Alastor the Crimson. Have you forgotten you are were once a demon that devoured those very same weaklings without a second thought.” She snapped before reaching the end of the castle territory and stretched out her left and right hands.

A cloud of purple flames appeared before her fore clawing at the air and creating an opening into Assiah. She burned through the protective barrier of Gehenna with the purple flames until lowering her arms and walking through the fire only to arrive within Assiah under the territory of Iblis on the opposite side of the mirrored world.
