Arctang was out in the Pantheon gardens. He was getting better at taking time away from the Forge. It was easier to go out where others were, to interact, to find ways to amuse himself that had nothing to do with tallies. He shouldn't have been surprised that it was refreshing to his brain as well as his body, but he was. The addition of Blip to his household was also stimulating changes in his thinking and manner of dealing with life. Today, while he did still have a pencil in hand, it was not a clipboard he held on his lap but a sketchbook. His clothes were casual, with comfortable pants and a loose silk dress shirt. His brown hair touched with neon green was tousled, as usual, but not in too much disarray. The sketchbook was new, being a gift from Blip to encourage his endeavor to relax and let go.
Not that he was a fabulous artist. Not at all. But he drew what he knew, and right now, that meant branch patterns, leaf growth. The natural fractal patterns were soothing to him, and he was able to do them reasonably well and recognizably. He'd already done the spindly branches of a young tree, as well as the leaves on a twig. He now was struggling with drawing a rather complex series of petals on a large flower. He frowned down at his attempt and made a sound of disgust. It was the shapes that were frustrating him. He leaned back, hands and rump on the grass, turning his eyes upward to the leafy canopy above. The less precise shapes of foliage sometimes eluded him, and these petals were the worst at the moment!

Sap had, in the intervening time between coming into existance and this day, had started to sort of call the Pantheon Gardens her home. She had meandered about in the libraries of Mystery for a time, but she had started to get all dusty and musty and book-y herself and she had found herself needing fresh air and plants and stuff like that.
After further wandering, she made her way out and, again aimlessly, she found her way back to where she had begun. The gardens.
She liked to play among the plants, weeding and messing with them. A lot of times, she was alone, and that was all right. Sometimes she tried to seek out her friends, but she didn't often find them when she looked. She figured they were around somewhre and she'd run into them eventually!
She was munching on an apple she had found and wandering - again - aimlessly - whens he came across... a person! Yay! A person! With pretty green hair. And Wings.
She grinned delightedly. Green was her favorite color!
"Hi!" she said, leaning over Arctang suddenly, curious, "Whatcha doin?" and then she saw the sketchbook. Delight of delights! "Oooo! Are you drawing?!" she asked eagerly, "I love drawing!" How she had so much energy, she had no idea.
