The word on the street is that a traveling troupe has come to stick around for a few days before moving on in their journey. People have been flooding the paths of Tale, trying to get another look at the amazing performers, not to mention the girls that seem to be showing up in herds.
It was an interesting thing seeing teenage girls swarm, and the center of their attention seemed to be a young man - a young, traveling, bard. His handsome looks, witty charm, and musical abilities were enough to woo any of the women in town and though he doesn't deny playing it up, he has one girl on his mind to be sure...
Quest Tasks ||. This quest is a test of Niadra's resolve for her feeling for Nyiim. ||. This quest must include this musical man that seems to have taken an unwavering eye to Niadra for her dancing abilities and good looks, and seems willing to travel the world and back to be with her. ||. The quest should end with Niadra's feelings on pursuing Nyiim, even with the prospect of other men that would be willing to travel with her.

Part One "He is so cute, and have you heard his voice? I've never heard anyone have a voice like his. I heard he has his eyes on someone already though, but no one knows who she is. I hope it's me!" as practice went on Niadra became more and more curious about who this singing man was. She knew that he wasn't someone who had been traveling with them, but another troupe that had decided to wait in Yware for a while. From what she understood they had been at Yware before Niadra's troupe got there, but they didn't plan on staying. They had all of the girls in her troupe all wondering about him, which to Niadra thought was just silly. He would be leaving soon, so to waste their time on someone who wasn't even gonna stay with them was wasteful. She had pointed that out once, but when the girl responded with her feelings for Nyiim were pointless she shut up and walked away. It was different, she knew it but there was no point trying to convince the other girls of this.
Even though she didn't intend to do anything more than listen to the man sing, not fall in love with him like all the others, she did want to figure out who he was. She didn't want to pass up a chance at hearing someone sing if they had a good voice, it was so rare that people truly had talents with their voice. She could sing, but her focus was dancing. Maybe the two of them could do a duet while he was in the settlement? Surely the people of Yware would like it.
Practice was soon over and the other girls didn't even hesitate before running off to find the object of their emotions. She cleaned up and asked her mother before heading towards where the other leaf troupe were setting up to preform soon. After everything was clean she took leave of the area and headed towards where the other girls went. Once she was there she moved towards the back of the group Niadra at once was sure she knew who all the girls had been talking about. He was leaf, like them, and even she would admit that he was very good looking. There were a few other men on stage, but it was clear that he was the one. She waited, and when he opened his mouth she really realized why the girls were talking about him. She already had noticed that he was easy on the eyes, but his voice... His voice was perfection if she did say so herself. As he sung she was transfixed to the ground, unable to move or even be able to speak. She wanted to sing with him, but at the same time she didn't want to ruin his perfect voice of her own. How did she ever think she would be able to sing with him? A duet? He would just make her sounds horrible. She would sound like a dead animal compared to him.
When it was all over and done she was still standing still, still dazed. It was than that he caught her eye, and he winked. Niadra looked around to see who was next to her and when she looked back at him he was laughing. Was he winking at her? No it couldn't be. Shaking her head her mind returned to her and she turned to walk away. She saw no point in staying around, he was done and to hear him sing was all she came to hear. Plus she wanted to go back and tell her mother about him. She knew that that mother had heard all the other girls gossiping and she would be pleased to hear that what was said was true. He did have one of the most wonderful voices in all the lands.
As she walked away she felt a hand on her arm and stopped. Turning Niadra came face to face with the singing man. "You walk so fast, as if you don't want to be caught." he said with a laugh as he let go of her arm. She was in shock. So the wink was towards her. "Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Raerynrar. What do I have to do to learn the name of one so beautiful?" he asked with a smile and another wink. She was stunned, this was not happening. After a few seconds of silenced she smile. "You flatter me so. But I assure you that your flattery is wasted. My heart already belongs to someone else." and with that Niadra nodded and turned to walk away. After a few steps she stopped, turned her head and smiled at him again. "However, if you must know my name is Niadra." and with that she was off, off to tell her mother of this Raerynrar fellow.

Part Two After her encounter with Raerynrar, Niadra rushed to her mother. She told her mother of his lovely voice, and about the wink along with the few words the two of them had exchanged. Her mother laughed and assured her that Niadra must be the girl that everyone was talking about. However Niadra didn't understand, why her? She had never even seen the man before that night. It didn't matter though, as she told her mother she was sure he would not bother her again. She had made her intentions clear to him. She was already in love, and was not like some of the other girls who traveled with her. She would stay true to her feelings and to Nyiim. Even if Nyiim wasn't clear of his feelings for her, she was clear of her feelings towards him and she wouldn't betray those feelings.
That night Niadra slept soundly, and by the time she woke up she was refreshed and ready for another day of practice. Already she had forgotten all about Raerynrar and his flirtatious words. They were doing partner dancing that morning, which wasn't something that she was all that good with so she was glad for the practice. She was always eager to learn and better herself. She wanted to be the best in all the lands, and the only way to do that was to practice, practice, practice.
As she walked towards the area she was surprised to find that Raerynrar was standing there. She looked curiously at her mother but said nothing as she moved to help set up. Suddenly Raerynrar went from the back of her mind right to the front of it. "I know that you are here to set up, but Niadra there is no need, Raerynrar here has already set everything up. As soon as the others are here we will begin." her mother said with a nod and a mischievous smile. "And another thing, Raerynrar will be your partner. He has expressed the want to learn to dance and I thought that since you are one of our top students it would be good to pair you together." Excuses, and Niadra knew it. Her mother knew that she wasn't the best when it to dancing with other people. She was the best when it came to solos, but when it came to things with partners she was not the best and her mother knew that. She wasn't sure what her mother was doing, but she knew she didn't like it.
However when she went to open her mouth her mother gave her the look that told her it was pointless to argue. With a sigh Niadra nodded and tried to make herself look busy. Whenever Raerynrar came close to her she moved away, trying to make it seem as effortless as possible. However when everyone was there and practice started she could avoid him no longer. As the two met she smiled weakly, which compared to Raerynrar bright one looked meek. "Don't worry I won't bite, I just want to learn to dance."
Niadra laughed. He was right, she had nothing to worry about. They were dancing, harmless, it wasn't like she didn't dance with the other males in the troupe all the time. "You're right, I'm sorry. Let's just practice. I'm not that good at this kind of dancing actually, so sorry for any mistakes."
Raerynrar laughed. "Lovely anything you do here will be much better than anything I can do, so please do not worry." and at that Niadra blushed. Who was she kidding. This wasn't just practice. He was flirting with her, that much was clear. Maybe she hadn't made her intentions clear enough.
"Let's just pay attention." she said with a nod as she made sure her eyes were anywhere but on him.
All throughout practice he would try to strike up a conversation with her, and slowly he had more and more success. While at first it was like pulling teeth for him to get her to talk, towards the end she was laughing along with him. When practice was over and the two of them were cleaning up they were never more than a few feet from each other, laughing and telling stories. When they had to go their separate ways it was obvious that their parting wasn't a happy one, and much different from when the two of them came together only a few hours before.
The last words heard from his mouth were "You know, I'd travel the world to stay at your side." and with that they parted. It left Niadra's mother wondering if she had done the right thing. Sure everyone was aware of Niadra's feelings for Nyiim, however a little good change would be good for her. It was time that she opened her eyes and saw that she needed someone who was more like her. Someone who didn't have roots such as Nyiim did. Only time would tell if something would come from this.

Part ThreeThe next few days the two of them were rarely ever seen far from each others side. At first it was clear that they were just friends, friends who practiced together, but as time went on it became less clear and the whispered started. Raerynrar had told many people from his troupe that he had planned to join Niadra's, and it had been said that Niadra's parents had also been talking about him joining.
They had been in the settlement for two weeks now, and Nyiim was still no where to be found. People said that maybe that was just what Niadra needed to get over him, for him to be lost and to have someone right there in front of her willing to be everything that she needed. Raerynrar sang, he was learning to dance, and he was well experienced in traveling and willing to become part of their troupe. Everyone knew how he felt, how her parents felt, and how everyone else felt. But no one was sure what Niadra felt.
To be honest no one really knew how Niadra felt about the whole situation. It was clear that she was friends with him, and people were pretty sure that she was starting to have feelings for Raerynrar, but no one actually knew how she felt. She had been asked, of course, but she never gave any kind of clear answer.
Niadra wasn't sure how she felt. For years and years she had been in love with Nyiim, honestly she had feelings for him even when she was nothing but a youngling. The feels just got stronger and stronger as time went on. But he was always out of her grasp. He didn't want to be like her, he didn't want to travel he wanted to stay in the same settlement that his parents had lived in. She couldn't blame him, and part of her thought that even though it was something that she wished to change about him at the same time it was something she admired. The ability to stay in the same place and not get bored. She wasn't sure she would be able to do the same.
The day came for both her troupe and Raerynrar's troupe to leave and Niadra made her way to where she knew her parents would be, coincidentally Raerynrar happened to be there as well.
"Mother, Father, I have to talk to you." she said standing with her hands clasped in front of her. She waited for them to dismiss Raerynrar and when they didn't she nodded.
"Dear I have good news as well, Raerynrar has decided to join us. Isn't that wonderful?" Niadra's mother said with a smile.
Niadra nodded and looked from Raerynrar's face to her mother's. "That is wonderful, he is a wonderful singer and will make a wonderful addition to the troupe. Also it might make what I'm going to say a little easier. I will not be joining you in leaving this time. I have decided to stay here."
Her statement had her parents and Raerynrar both astonished.
"I've had a wonderful time with you Raerynrar, and I'v learned a lot about singing from you, for that I thank you." and than she turned back to her parents. "I want you to know that it is nothing against any of you, I just realized that for now my place is here. I haven't been able to see Nyiim while I'm hear so I'm going to wait to see him. More than ever my feelings for him are sure. There is no one in all of Tendaji that I rather be with, and if that means staying here for some time than so be it."
And with that she walked away. Niadra was no longer a little girl, she was grown and able to make her own decisions. And her decision was made, her decision was Nyiim and it would always be Nyiim.
