The sun was out, the weather was colder than cold, and yet somehow there were pae crazy enough to go out in it. Ayala was one of them. But then, she had a nice warm layer of fur on her paws and didn't seem to mind it as much as her mother did. She did feel it nipping at her nose, and everywhere else, but she felt nice and cozy wrapped in her scarf and mittens.
It was like this, she ventured out that afternoon. Ayala knew she should've bundled up more, but she didn't want to believe her mother was right. She just wanted to get out and explore the isle a tiiiny little bit more. There was something out there and she wanted to see it. To greet it. But first, she would have to get unlost. The teen wasn't going to let that get her down though. She was better than that. She'd just have to keep exploring until she found her way back out of the Loka Nei Forest.
Baby blues nice and wide, Ayala took in her surroundings. She was utterly amazed that anything outside The Great Tree could look so beautiful!
"Amazing!" She cooed, leaning against a tree, oblivious to any noises around her.

Absynth's wings ached from the cold. But he never let that bother him. He love to exploring and this time he stumbled onto this grove. Some tracks he had found let him to a deer and her fawn. By staying in the trees and gliding branch to branch, he was able to watch over them. An hour had passed while he watch and study the deers. When a voice suddenly came out of the blue and spooked the them. "Hmm, I wonder what that sound was.", thought Absynth. He decided to investigate the sound. A few trees over he spotted a young faun girl. He glided over to a tree next to her. "Hello," his said, "how are you?"

Ayala grinned, flicking her tail back and forth as she watched everything around her. She was so into it she hadn't noticed a brightly colored fae jumping down next to her. When it started talking, she started screaming in surprise!
"HOoooly Tree" Her eyes were wide, clearly shocked that anyone else would not only be able to find her, but be able to sneak up on her. But that shouldn't be too much of a surprise, she wasn't really paying attention to anything behind her. Ayala frowned, realizing what it was that had snuck up on her. She wasn't exactly a huge fan of anything not faun. Sure, she got saved by a winged lady when she fell down the well, but she only liked her because the blue lady saved her!
"How'd you sneak up on me like that?" She insisted, not being polite at all. Her momma would kill her if she knew!

"Ow, my ears!", he said, shaking his head to stop the ringing. "I didn't meant to sneak up on you."
"I was watching a deer and her fawn, when a noise spooked them. I decided to investigate the sound and found you." Giving a smile to surprised faun. Keeping his distance, he inspected her. Her wide baby blue eyes showed him that she was shocked, but she was also distrusting to him. It my own fault, he thought, I did surprise her.
"My name is La Fee Abysynth, it's a pleasure to meet you.", he kindly said, "I have been exploring this grove, today. Is there anything I can help you with." Pondering his last statement.

Ayala frowned a bit, wondering just who this guy really was. She hadn't noticed a deer or her child at all! But then, she'd just been so loud she might not have noticed anything in general. The gray female crossed her arms, tail flicking back and forth. There was no way she was going to trust this character. But she could be nice to him.
"It's nice to meet you La Fee Absynth." Ayala smiled, her face changing in an instant. "I'm Ayala." Her arms were freshly crossed over her torso, but that didn't stop her from stretching one out to offer him a handshake. Her mother had taught her to be nice when possible. Ayala always thought it was best to be nice all the time. "I don't think there's anything you can help me with... But Do you know where we are? I'm sooooo lost." She admitted, glad she wasn't the type to blush at things like that. No matter how embarrassing it might wind up being.

Absynth's wing flutter as he take Ayala's hand and shake it. "We are in Loki Nei Forest.", he replied. "If you are look for a quick way out of the forest. I suggest going east to Wapler Delta or south to the farmland."
Thinking to himself, Will she be alright? "If you would like, I can show you the way.", as he said politely. Feeling the wind shift, he stated "I was about to leave the forest anyway."

Ayala frowned, taking her hand back. She didn't really know where any of those places were. "But those places... They're kinda hard to get to when you don't know where you're at." She kept the frown in place. She wasn't really all that concerned about being lost, except that it was so cold out.
Cold enough to see her breath when she exhaled. The gray female shivered, rubbing her hands on the fur of her arms. "The forest is friendly and kind, but I think you're right. It's time to leave." She smiled, trying to be nice. Her mother had almost always said something of the like. Be nice, it wasn't right to be mean to everyone you meet. You'd never make friends that way.
"So how do we get out of here?" He'd already told her where they were going to go, but did that mean she knew what direction they were going to head? Not at all. She stretched, trying to keep warm. "Give me a heading, we can race?" Ayala offered, wondering if that would be a better idea. It would warm them both up too.

Seeing her shiver and the fog from her breath. "I agree, the forest can be nice, but there amazing place out there. I hope to see them all some day.
"Let's go to the south toward the farmland. We might a friendly farmer who will give a warm place to stay and food.", as his points in the general direction of the south.
Fluttering his wings. "Are you ready Ayala? We can go in 3, 2, 1!" Taking off towards the south.

"The island is huge, you've got a big task ahead of you." She grinned, knowing she'd likely never see all of the island. But then, who knew what else she might wind up doing? She was still very young and the isle was still and would always be very large.
"South it is." She cracked her back, stretching to get ready for this race. "Flying is cheating, all on foot." Ayala held up her finger, realizing she was at a distinct disadvantage if he started to fly. He'd get to be up in the air, avoiding all the trees, she'd be on foot on the ground, trying to avoid all the trees. When the countdown started, Ayala got herself ready to run. She may not have been the best, but Earth be blessed, she wasn't bad at running. She had nice little wolf paws down where her kind usually had hooves. Ayala liked to think she was equipped for running pretty darn well.
"Go!" With a laugh, she took off at the end of the countdown, starting out like a rocket, just released from it's launch pad.

"I am fine at not flying," as he gets to run.
When she said "Go", His wings flitter as he takes off. She is fast, but I have been explore this forest will a while, Absynth thought to himself. "You will need more then speed.", he said, quickly moving through the trees.
