Ashur narrowed his eyes warily at the darkly dressed senshi not five yards ahead of him. He'd run into how many of these Mirror Senshi now? ...One. It was not a pleasant experience, which was why he could still clearly remember what the aura felt like, and since that initial meeting his mind kind of started categorizing these powered characters like he did bugs -- by generalizing. As things stood, it kinda went like this: senshi and knights were probably okay; negaverse and mirror senshi were probably out to kill him. It was a black and white sort of deal; he learned his lesson.
That didn't make him any less curious, though. He'd just have to tread a little more carefully. The Page figured he could manage at least that, so he approached slowly.
"Evening..." came a lame sort of greeting. Ash was kind of making his way over almost at a snail's pace, if only because, in case she pulled out a mirror wraith right off the bat like the last one, then at least he could have a head start running in the opposite direction. See? He could totally plan ahead.Die Fluegel der Freiheit I hope this is alright.. o-o; Lemme know if you want me to change anything, though~

Amytis had been out patrolling and gathering energy, like a good little Senshi. Her ankle was good and healed, and so she was happy to bounce around and drain energy for her Court and try not to fall over again.
She sensed an unfamiliar type of signature, and frowned, turning around to see who it was. A man, but he didn't look like a Senshi and he didn't fee like one either. Maybe one had bene at the Shade Queen battle, but she'd been too busy trying not to die and clinging to Tantlaus and Damocles to worry about that. She stood stock-still, arms crossed in front of her chest and eyes narrowed.
"Good evening," she said, tilting her head to the side. "What are you?" A little blunt, but she was curious. "I've never felt an aura like yours before."

The page visibly relaxed. Only slightly, but his body wasn't moving quite as stiffly as earlier. She wasn't attacking right off, that was a good sign, right? She even returned his greeting, which he blinked at momentarily. So these guys had some semblance of manners. Another good sign, no doubt. Ash moved a little bit closer to a more conversational distance, though he was still trying to be careful.
Her question threw him for a second, though, and despite himself Ash felt a smirk suddenly on his lips. His brow quirked and he watched her curiously for a second. "A page," he started, then quickly added an extra tidbit for clarity. "Well, as a whole we're called Knights. I'm still, uh...new to the whole thing."
His mouth fell to something of a frown, and uncertainty crossed his features. "Sort of." Ugh. "Anyway, never met a knight before?"

Amytis approached carefully, uncrossing her arms when he was pleasant at first. He was obviously Order, an enemy, and so she felt no particular compulsion to trust him right off. Still, it would be easier to just play nice, and not be outwardly hostile in any way, so she took a breath to relax herself a little.
"Nope, never met a Knight before," she confessed, but she smiled at him almost automatically. "I'm Sailor Amytis, of the Dark Mirror, and I'm glad to be meeting my first." He seemed nice, polite, easy to deal with and not likely to assault her on sight. She could totally handle that.

She was making it easy, thankfully, being rather easy to have a proper conversation with. Ashur was certainly at ease, anyhow, and as he watched her move a little closer as she spoke he let out a breath to help loosen himself up a bit more. The fact that she'd never met one of his faction before sort of amused him, actually, and he regarded the confession with a small smile and a shrug. "First time I'm meeting someone who's never heard of my kind before." And he wasn't sure how to feel about it, but there was that small, still cautious part of him that told him that perhaps that was why she wasn't being hostile at all.
Ashur forced that part, though, to shut up and extended his hand despite knowing that they were likely supposed to be enemies.
"Ashur, he replied then, to her introduction. "Y'know, I kinda think it's cool that I'm the first knight you've met." His smile faltered as memory of the Shakespearean garbed senshi came to the forefront of his mind. "First time I ran into one of you guys, it wasn't this uh...pleasant, I guess you could say."

Amytis took Ashur's hand and shook it, feeling more relaxed the longer this went on. He seemed nice enough, for someone on the other side, and maybe they could jsut talk and nobody had to hit anybody. Gosh, that would be really, really nice.
"Well, you know, we are sort of supposed to be enemies, I'd just rather not punch your face in if you don't give me a reason to?" She said, and her smile became a little awkward. Maybe her definition of "a reason" was looser than most peoples', but that didn't mean much in the long run, right? She could totally still play nice.

"How reasonable of you," the page returned jokingly, not really picking up the change in her smile but finding it a rather amusing difference in attitudes compared to his previous encounter. Which wasn't a bad thing -- actually, it was definitely a good thing -- so Ashur had become relatively relaxed now that he was at least a little more certain that she wouldn't sucker punch him in the gut for no reason. Not to mention there was a chance she'd pull out one of those floating doom-things...
The thought caused his own smile to falter momentarily, but it lasted all of a millisecond before he visibly shrugged it off. All he had to do was not provoke her, right? And so far he was doing a decent job of that, so he was probably okay. But now that it'd crossed his mind, he figured it was as good a chance as any to ask the proper name of those...things. "Hey, so about that last meeting with one of your uh...teammates?" Come to think of it, he wasn't really sure what to call other knights either...
But he waved his hand as if to just wave away what he'd just said. "Whatever, so about last time. He pulled out a floating..." and he paused, making a face as he tried to come up with the proper word. "...thing..." That wasn't it, but he pressed on. "That attacked me..."
But as he made some funny gestures while trying to explain further, he glanced over at her, hoping she got what he meant.

Amytis's nose wrinkled when Ashur described his encounter with her fellow Dark Mirror. "Oh, a mirror wraith?" she asked. "How long ago was this? I mean, they were berserk for a little while but they're mostly pretty harmless - just drain a little energy and move on."
Never mind that using one in a battle was pretty foolish, as far as she was concerned - they were small and fragile and likely to break, especially if they were close to full, and so to her it seemed that it was bad planning, never mind a huge risk to the wraith and then you had the fun of explaining to Leto or Remarque that you'd messed up and needed a new shard.
Not fun, in the end. "We can't drain energy hands-on like officers can, so we have to rely on the wraiths, since y'know, we need the stuff to maintain our Court."

Pretty harmless?
Ash would have seriously shot that idea down, but she seemed to know better than him about the things so he didn't. Instead, he gave her a blank stare, blinking a few times as he let the information sink in. "So they're called mirror wraiths?" he finally asked after a moment. The first time he ran into the things was a random night, well before he was awakened and even aware that senshi and knights and other such people existed. Since then he'd only referred to them as floating ghosts/shadows/things of doom. Mirror wraiths seemed more...appropriate, he decided.
"They don't seem all that harmless when you're what they're after, though..." Ash would have continued, but Amytis went on with her own explanation and he listened carefully and nodded where he felt he ought to.
In the end he still didn't really get all that much, but he recalled a conversation with another senshi about how Negaverse agents drained...or something. Huh. "Ohh, okay..." he wound up replying anyway, then crossed his arms as he pieced together the information she'd given him. "So these wraiths are basically just tools, then? I thought they were more like weapons."
