Soft country music filled the arena as Jamie's titantron appeared on the big screen. The crowd looked around, attempting to spot the redneck resident in the sea of fans. Suddenly, part of the crowd burst into a frenzy as the camera closed in on a hooded individual making his way to ringside.

The figure reached the barricade, removed its hood and looked up at the camera. He pointed at the screen as he hopped the barricade, ranting and raving about his loss to Boom and possibly something about a screwjob, but the crowd was too active to tell. "--And you can tell that fat S.O.B. that after I'm done with this snake, I'm coming for that rat!"
Jamie slid into the ring on his knees and slowly crept on his stomach to a corner before grabbing the ropes on either side and pulling himself to a standing position.
"...Introducing first! Weighing in at one hundred and sixty one pounds! Hailing from Gulf Shores, Alabama! He is the Palmetto Predator...Jamieee....BAAADEEERRR!"

Jamie walked over to the ropes nearest the announce table and began to yell at the ringhands. After a few moments, one of them handed him the mic. He banged it against the side of his head a few times as he approached the center of the ring. "Check--Check, one, two--IS THIS THING ON!?" He shouted into the mic furiously.
"Listen up because I don't have time for conversations or deep, emotional dally-doo's about touchy-feely bullcrap." Jamie walked to the ropes and let out a small, angry fury, kicking the bottom rope several times. "FIRST OF ALL--!" He began, smacking himself in the head with the mic again. "FIRST...Of all..." He repeated, quietly. "...What the hell was that...WHAT...The HELL...Was that...Really? Really!? Boom? You got me with Boom?" The small man shouted while shakily running his hands over his shaved head. "Of all the people to screw over, you didn't pick the big, muscular, hulking, muscular...Hulking...Muscle man, oh no, you decided to screw over THE MOST DANGEROUS WRESTLER ON THIS PLANET!" Again, Jamie kicked the bottom rope. "--And that is not arguable!"
After pacing around the ring a few times, much to the crowds growing confusion, he suddenly stopped. "A fast count? A fast count! You didn't even have the decency to put me down like a MAN! You little no-good, lint-lickin' roaches!" Jamie leaned over the top rope and pointed at the entrance ramp. "And now you have the audacity to send some two-cent, punk little garden snake after me, the king cobra!" Jamie threw himself to the mat and began flailing his limbs around. "NO! N-NO! I refuse to be used as a stepping stone for a generation full of losers, misfits and damn nobodies!" He threw his mic to the ground, turned and threw a vicious right hand at the referee's face, knocking him to the ground.
"Oooooh!" The crowd exclaimed.
Jamie took a step back, ran forward and nailed the official in the side of the head with a low-grade punt kick, causing him to roll over while clutching his head. Without giving him a chance to realize what was going on, Jamie grabbed him by the back of his shirt and his pants and tossed him out of the ring mercilessly. "You stay out of my ring you filthy piece of trash!" He shouted without the use of a mic. It appeared that Jamie had finally become unhinged. He turned, walked over to the ropes again and pointed to the ramp. "Get that lily-livered wannabe excuse for a real predator out here NOW!" Jamie tore off his hoodie and threw it on the mat. He was ready for a fight.

Stepping out from behind the black curtain hanging up on the main stage, Salem entered the arena to a raucous deception from the audience. Cheering for the arrival of the world champion, the audience was enthralled with Croft's new get-up, Salem sporting a hoodie that had been altered specifically to his tastes.
The cloth was printed in woodland colors, arranged in a scaly pattern that resembled the copperhead from which the world champion had derived his new nickname. The hood was pulled down over Salem's eyes, but the outer lip that was hanging had been pained to appear like a snake's stare. The swollen, slender pupils peering out at Jamie as though they were Salem's, but rather than scowling at the veteran's temper tantrum the M.W. Deuce was smiling, his grin almost as brilliant as the beautiful championship belt hanging around his waist. Pausing on the entrance ramp, Salem drew his snake styled microphone up to his lips, his burlap sack hanging ominously over his right shoulder.
"Heheh...my, my. Didn't your momma ever teach you that it isn't wise to play with a snake?" Salem said with a chuckle, still standing on the stage as the fans popped at Croft's rib of Bader.
"Because after all...a snake, it just doesn't play. It hunts..." Salem continued, starting to step slowly down the ramp as he spoke, his words thick with a soft-spoken mysteriousness that drank in the crowd's attention. "It kills... But sometimes, a snake doesn't have to go looking for it's next meal. Sometimes, it's the careless rabbit...stomping its feet, running headstrong through the field...making all kinds of noise to get itself noticed, until it realizes it ran down the wrong hole...it finds itself face to face with death, and in those seconds before the snake strikes that rabbit knows...it knows one thing. Fear. Heh...but you aren't afraid, are you, Jamie? Haha...nah, not you. You're not afraid..."
By now, Salem was only just reaching the ringside steps, having taken his time down the ramp to allow himself time to speak and those along the barricade to take pictures or video in the process. But rather than circle the ring, Salem started up the stairs, slowly turning his chin up to reveal his dark eyes from under the hood to Jamie, still waiting in the ring.
The hood falling back, Croft's bangs hung down like tufts of weeds, hiding the true intent behind the world champion's stare. Brandishing the bag from over his shoulder, Salem eyed it with a smirk, but it quickly became a more intimidating look as he turned his attention back to Bader.
"But you should be." he threatened softly, setting his sack down on the apron before ducking under the top rope to slip in the ring.
"But then again, you're a scary man, yourself. What did you say? You're the 'most dangerous wrestler on the planet', Jamie?" Salem inquired, pacing a circle around his challenger. "Heh. You ain't nothing but a child, kicking and screaming about how life isn't the way you want, angry at yourself for your own shortcomings and tryin' to tell yourself a lie...'cause I don't know if you noticed, brother, but right now..."
Standing in front of Jamie once again, Salem unsnapped his belt from around his waist, holding it up with his free hand Toa rising ovation from the stands. It made the champ look even larger next to Bader, on top of the fifty pounds of muscle that separated the two athletes.
"...You're in my world. And out here, in my neck of the woods, we ain't heard what makes you so damn scary. In fact, if you are the greatest thing to fear...well, it must be a small world, after all."
Handing his title to the timid official as the audience 'ooh'ed, Salem retreated to the opposite side of the ring, leaning his back up to the ropes while facing his opponent with the same grin he'd wore in. Taking off his hoodie and shirt, the champ tossed his gear out to the crowd and chuckled, holding a hand up to invite Jamie closer.
"...If I have to put you through a table, if I have to throw Jarel in a hearse, if I have to put Freakshow in the grave, I will. So c'mon, little rabbit - show me the face of fear."
Dropping his microphone, Salem waited and watched intently for his enemy to approach as the bell chimed throughout the stadium, bringing the fans to life.

Jamie was fuming as Salem approached the ring. This was Jamie's house! Jamie built his career on pain, suffering and agony and here was this little Native American garden snake coming all up in his hood trying to act like he knows something about snakes...
As the bell rang, Jamie dropped to the mat and slithered around to the side of the ring, trying to feel out Salem. He got back to one knee and held a hand high in the air, trying to see if this so called copperhead had any boa constrictor in him like the new snake, the palmetto predator, the smallest giant in professional wrestling...Jamie Bader was all reptile and he was going to prove it.
...He only wondered how long it would take for the backup official to show up.

Salem watched as Bader did his best snake imitation, crawling on his belly across the ring to close the distance between them. Was Jamie taking himself seriously? Or was this just an attempt to play mind games with Salem? It didn't matter to the champion - as Jamie stood up to offer his hand, Salem would chuckle and step forward...slipping his fingers between his opponent's, tightening his grip to immediately tug the smaller man forward into an elbow from Salem's opposite arm!

The elbow connected flush with the side of Jamie's head, send him briefly down to one knee before popping back up again. Salem was smart with not testing his skills against the Lancashire wrestling style that Jamie often imposed on his opponents.

Salem's elbow struck the side of Jamie's skull, eliciting a pop from the crowd before Bader bounced back up to his feet for a second helping. Throwing another vicious forearm, the world champion kept his grip tight, looking to daze his challenger before throwing him into the ropes with an Irish Whip!

The second elbow connected and again Jamie dropped to one knee before popping back up. Jamie's brawls with The Number Three were legendary. It would take more than a forearm shot to keep him down.
Jamie's small form was pushed against the ropes and Irish whipped toward's the other side.

Salem hadn't knocked the sense of sight out of Bader yet, but he had affected the man's sense of direction, sending the veteran into the ropes with a strong jerk of his arm. But the world champ charged after in pursuit, looking to blindside Bader on the turnaround with a decapitating clothesline across the neck!

Before Jamie knew what had hit him, he was knocked right to the ground with a rather stiff, running forearm. The southern man bounced off the mat and rolled onto his stomach after the devastating blow.

The crowd popped loudly at the crack of Salem's forearm against Jamie's neck, the reverberating force replayed on the big screen as the champ beat his chest with a territorial roar. Smelling blood in the water, the Copperhead turned and shot a stiff kick up into the area of Bader's abdomen, looking to wound the man's ribs and lungs in the process!

If the clothesline was not bad enough, the kick connected with Jamie's side. The force sent Jamie rolling onto his side, holding his rib's in pain. This was like getting hit with a Tonka Toy compared to some of his hardcore matches. "Is that all you got, p***y?"

As if spurned on by Jamie's jeer, Salem circled around his opponent and dropped low, looking to wrap the arm Bader wasn't laying on and wrench it behind the man's back with a chicken wing. In the process, Croft would grab a fistful of his challenger's hair with his own spare hand to hopefully drag the veteran back up to a vertical base. If successful, Salem would use the hair-assisted chicken wing to leverage running his opponent shoulder-first into the nearest ringpost!

Salem may have been trying to grab for hair after hooking in a single chicken wing, but unfortunately for him, the veteran was always, always three steps ahead. Since a chickenwinged arm was the only grip Salem had on wily, old Jamie, it came as no surprise that as soon as he was brought up to a standing basis, before Salem could get any momentum, Jamie took his free arm and attempted to throw it backwards with an elbow aimed at Salem's head. "Get your damned, dirty hands off of me!"
