Super Sailor Draconis burst through the door to the roof access, nearly kicking the thing off its hinges to gain access. The youma was on the run though, and it was faster than her. This was no ordinary youma- this must have been a youma attached to somebody.
She felt herself losing distance on the creature, as it hopped 2- 3 buildings away. Draconis had been chasing the thing all night- truthfully, she was tired. It was a winged youma, not one that easily gave up the chase. It had run her all over town, and just now she'd gone up 3 flights of stairs to get to it.
It had now swooped down, and Draconis follwed in suit, jumping off the building's roof onto one that was only about a floor shorter than the building she was on. The foundation of the roof cracked as she landed, and this time she really felt the impact of the fall- not to the same degree a human would, of course, but as a senshi, she could feel her powers waning.
The bird disappeared, and with it went Draconis' willpower to chase it. She left out a breath of air, then began heaving from the spot she was laying in. It took her a moment or two to regain her senses, but she realized she had to keep going. She couldn't just leave a rampant youma on the loose anyways.
It was then that she noticed a girl, one or two buildings away. She grumbled, getting up on her feet and pushing the rubble off, and leapt over the buildings to the girl. It was still exhilarating having such powers- even if she felt so weak.
"Hi. I'm Super Sailor Draconis. Did you see where that youma went?" she asked without a hint of fatigue. Hopefully the girl would just say no, and Draconis could take a rest. She was tired of chasing that thing.

It had been a rather peaceful night for the most part. Sailor Phact had chosen to move into the city and perch herself on the rooftops along with the other birds. They normally did not bother her if she had not fed them in the first five minutes. Tonight though, seemed to be an exception.
Phact could tell they were on edge but the reason did not become clear until she felt them all fly past her. No matter how many feathers a bird had, it still hurt when those wings hit.
"Hey watch it!" She called out and opened her eyes just in time to see a shadow disappear into the night. It was then she realized there had been a chill up her back.
Before she could react, a voice caused the white senshi to turn completely around. In front of her stood a senshi. At least that was what she assumed since the female knew what a youma was. Though with the attire, Phact thought she might have been from one of the Oriental new years.
"Sailor Phact. And I only caught a shadow of it heading off towards the East. After that, I'm not sure." Phact commented and moved towards the other senshi. "But I think you need to take a break anyway. That thing was moving. Neither of us would catch it now."

Draconis dropped her guard only when the girl admitted to being a white moon senshi tried and true. She was so tired of not even knowing who was REALLY on her side or not.
With the suggestion of resting, Draconis nodded and sat down, splaying herself across the roof. She really hoped the people in this house would just chalk it up to raccoon on their roof or something.
"I've been chasing that thing all night," she groaned. "If only I could get it to sit still- that's the problem with fire attacks, you know? They have to be close enough to hit!" She was sort of rambling to a stranger, but what did Draconis care? As a senshi her identity was hidden. Nobody would make fun of her in the morning. The joys of having an alter ego.
From where she was, she shifted her weight until she could at least see the girl. "What are you doing up here, anyways?"

Phact could not help but c**k head head when the other senshi seemed to nearly fall over on the roof. The girl was tired. How long had she been chasing after that thing?
Ask question, get answer.
"How close is close?" Phact asked wondering why she couldn't just shoot it like an arrow. Her own 'attacks' weren't helpful either. A flying bird. If she gave the person enough space, they could dodge it pretty easily.
Still, Phact wasn't picky and would rather avoid all that all together if she could, at least until she learned a few more things. "Peace and quiet...normally." Phact answered casting Draconis a look that quickly softened. "I like the view. I think it has something to do with where I draw my power from. Every time I come out on patrol, I want to be up high."

"Like ... I don't know. I shoot a flamethrower from my mouth, so that close. Not really a projectile." She shrugged, not complaining in the least. She'd seen some other senshi's starting powers and they were weak. She was happy with her fire breath. "Either way, closer than how far away that thing is now."
At the mention of drawing her power from the view, Draconis raised an eyebrow. "The view? Are you the senshi of skylines or something?" she asked with a laugh.
She realized she hadn't given her own identity, and it was sort of rude to ask for Phact's without giving her own. "Oh. I'm senshi of dragons, by the way. You know, like the constellation draco?"

A flamethrower? Well that had to be useful. Phact was mentally jealous of this senshi as she heard that. She summoned a bird that flew at the person. A dove. At least fire did damage. But she wasn't admitting that to someone she still did not know.
"Skylines? Now that is an interesting idea. I wonder how that would work with a forest canopy. Or New York." Phact thought as the woman spoke about her sphere. Dragons? It made sense now.
"Well, a flamethrower suits you then Ms. Dragon. I guess the smaller distance is supposed to be like a baby dragon then?" Phact chuckled before she focused on herself. "Doves. Phact is the brightest start in Columbia. Though to be named after a constellation is pretty nice. Easy to point out."

Draconis raised an eyebrow, not sure whether to take Phact's comment about being a "baby" dragon as a compliment or not.
Suspicions aside, Phact introduced herself as the senshi of doves, which had Draconis internally slapping herself in the forehead. She was already tired enough from the grand chase, but now she had to do the whole shpeal about the Zoo.
"Ah, yeah ... it's nice that most people know Draconis too. No explanations required," she said idly, waving her hand through the air. She looked at the other girl and said, "Say, are you by chance part of a team?"

Cocking her head in confusion, Phact had to wonder what she said that made Draconis suddenly look so...wild?
With the question though, she stood straight and crossed her arms over her chest as if listening intently. "A team? I work sometimes with a friend but it's just us. So no, I am not." She wouldn't mention the name right now until she was sure what was going on. Though this random senshi gave off a good vibe.
"And before you begin, are you sure you caught your breath? You sounded like you chased that thing quite awhile."

Draconis did a mental high five to herself. "Yeah yeah, no I'm fine really." She wiggled her arms a bit to demonstrate her autonomy. "Gotta love senshi regeneration."
She then put her hands on her hips and took a more heroic looking stance. "Well, from one animal senshi to another, I'd like to extend my invitation for you to join the Zoo!" She put her hand on her chin, and added, "We really need to work on a better name."
Looking back to the girl, she said, "Oh but don't worry it's not like a serious business team. My little cat Pippin is just obsessed with collecting all the animals so ... we're more like a network sort of. If you ever need patrol buddies or sparing partners, you can just text one of us! Like facebook!" Draconis, perhaps, shouldn't have looked so excited about facebook. "Sound fun?"

Smiling as Draconis mentioned the senshi ability to recover, she could only think of Sailor Acruius and how she really helped that process along. One person she was always glad to be friends with. But that was another matter as she listened to the offer.
"The Zoo?" Phact blinked as the woman made the offer. Well animal to animal made sense. So they hung out in cages?
But before she could comment, a name caught her attention. "Wait, Pippin is your cat? How is he? Is he doing well?" Sailor Phact's eyes widen as she smiled. That cat was what gave her 'wings' in an odd way. She missed him and his cute little ways.
