We all have a favorite item that we just CAN'T STOP USING. It's so useful, we can't imagine our inventories without it. They are, by far, our best purchases.
They are your most treasured items, and without them, it'd be hard to be as fabulous as you are now.
Talk about those items here.
For me, it's the La Belle Chanteuse. The make-up pose, in particular, improves literally every single pair of eyes I have or plan on having. Not to mention the lips go perfectly with my skin tone. In short, I can't imagine Gaian life without this item. I would rather lick a cactus than give it up.

Definitely Fremere's Guard. The two sets of eyes - the Blue, as I am using now, and the orange, which is the same as this one except a different colour - are a definite staple in my inventory and on my avi!
Probably one of the oldest items I own; I remember buying it with the first Gaia cash I ever got. Definitely my favourite, by far.

For me, I guess it would have to be Saint Ciel Agape. Someone very close to me got it for my birthday, and that's the main reason why I hold it dear.
The other reason is due to the awesome hair cutting option it has! I constantly use that for a lot of avis that I have.

Lyonel Noale Definitely Fremere's Guard. The two sets of eyes - the Blue, as I am using now, and the orange, which is the same as this one except a different colour - are a definite staple in my inventory and on my avi! You wear the Fremere's eyes very well, my friend. emotion_bigheart For me, my quintessential item, I think, is actually Masquerade. It's such an underdiscussed item, since it's older, but it adds so many lovely cosmetic touches. Among them are the freckles that I adore using, and there's also a Monroe-esque mole on the cheek that is a lot less large and blotchy than the other item that creates one (I don't know its name).

Masquerade is definitely a fantastic item, but I think most users overlook it because it only adds small details; however, the attention and acknowledgement of such details are probably why you always have such astoundingly gorgeous avis~!

I looked through my collection of stuff again and again, but I don't think I actually have an official favorite item ever! Its hard to choose favorites, especially when you don't always keep your avatar in the same clothing.
I suppose its all on my mood. If I wanted to feel fancy, I would wear Sir Ashby Sacheverell II's hat and cane, add some other fancy clothing, like the Warm Starter Windblown Coat with an undersuit underneath it and go with that. I also have a set of The Wasp that I wear time and time again, but I havent felt that jazzy.
I can be festive for most occasions, I can be casual for others. Usually theres experimenting to see what goes with what, and sometimes show off that. That said, I never stick to one outfit. So I dont own a favorite of my own, because Iove all the stuff I got. mrgreen

Oh, now you've done it. Had to ask THIS question, eh? Allow me to oblige.
:cracks knuckles:
My inventory sees a lot of items come and go, especially after a hiatus, when I come back to a whole slew of new items to pick from. I often get stuck on a single item that keeps making a comeback over and over in my avatars, but there certainly are items that my Gaia adventure wouldn't be the same without.
When all is said and done, my most often used, ever present, oldest, and most humble item would have to be the Studded Leather Collar. Then making an appearance from the gold shop are the Lovely Genie Double Earrings, silver and gold.
These items have likely only persisted this long in my inventory because there's not a lot that are like them, they're simple, and they're relatively worthless next to the big ticket items today, so there's little point in selling them for extra gold. Besides, I'd miss them too much.
Other items I would never sell is my SDPlus #036 Ian. Not that I particularly like the NPC, but rather I've got to wear my vampire avatar pride. Especially now that I'm so fond of item skins, and the 2k12 potion does not feature a little fang overbite.
Then there's the Queue Demonique, which I do not wear as often as I'd like, however, this item finally cured my desire for the Devil Tail. Because, truth is, I like it more. Mostly because it matches fine with my Nitemare Headband and collar.
I'm also slowly learning that my life was hideously lacking in hair options until I found my own Agape scissors. Black Butler: Claude Faustus has at last satisfied my deep yearning of a very nice gentleman's vest and shirt combination. Previous items couldn't quite do it for me. And I'm not sure I'll ever be able to let go entirely of Zodiacal, just for the sheer amount of poses in that EI that I like. Also, waiting the entire year to watch it finish? That had been an update I looked forward to for each of the twelve months.

My favorite item at the moment would have to be Lavish Luice for sure, I've come to love cameos ever sense Gaia created Biancamella. That item also helped me have an even strong love for light pink items. Now I would say it's Biancamella that is my favorite but I hardly wear it anymore, the cameo is so small I thought it was just a little chest jewel at first. I love to be able to see the cameo~ crying And the pink on that item has a purple hue to it which is the type of pink I hate the most! scream Any ways back to the Lucie item... *clears throat* sweatdrop haha ...When Little Lucie first came out I was just floored, it had a beautiful Lolita look to it with a cute doll, hidden poses, lovely hair~ and the perfect cameo! heart But...the color! emo I know it had a creepy story, the black fit very nicely...I just was wishing that someday~ recolor time! Lovely Lucie came out later and it was so pretty! Loved by millions! And cost by millions... emotion_zombie I then thought...oh mighty Gaia please answer my gaian prayer xd Make a light pink Lucie recolor~ <3 And so it was done, the beautiful pink item i've wanted for a long while as arrived. It took me a little bit to get it, doing avi art for days apon days...but now! NOW! *holds up Lavish Lucie and the music from when Link holds up an item plays* gaia_star Da da da daaaaa! *sparkle sparkle*

I'll actually start with something sentimental: the silver promise ring.
Unless I had arm/hand mods, I was always wearing that ring. It symbolizes a very dear friend whom is no longer on Gaia, but whom I've kept in regular contact with. She is who I consider my best friend and this ring represents her. That and her ava is male. LOL
Another item I seem to use a lot in my avatars is the Masquerade. Aside from being one of the few cash shop items I've bought, it is extremely versatile and something I frequently use. I mainly use it for eyeshadow, tho' I have used it's other poses, both beautiful and ghastly, before. I also remember the time where everyone was like "oh god just hurry up and finish evolving it it's so ugly atm bawbawbaw".
Last but certainly not least, are the pugs from the Radio Havok RIG that I've recently acquired. If anyone were to ask what my favorite dog breed would be, I'd say pugs hands down. Having them in my family (four + a foster for a local pug rescue) certainly contributes to my love for Puck and Rocker as well. I first got Puck when I gave up on my Mini Angel Wing quest before the frequent release of the gold generators and Puck was part of my 50m shopping spree. Months later, Rocker was re-released very recently and the price for him deflated (to my surprise) and I immediately snatched him up. I honestly can say that I was never so happy about buying Rocker and knowing that I have both of the pugs now since YEARS ago when I finally got my own Bani Clips.
Honorable mention is the Taffy Mini Angel Wings. I strive to own the originals one day. +__+

I'm currently super super in love with Planet X for the eyes. They're just the right amount of carefree cute without looking too kawaii desu, hehe. It's a shame I can't use any hairs that show the third eye, since I don't really like it OTL I'm sure a lot of other people do, though!

I've been off for quite a few months and when I came back I saw a new item named La belle Chanteuse. As a huge hair and make-up addict I HAD to buy this one. It's was quite expensive but all my items were inflated so I had an inventory cleanout and bought the item. I now use the eyes for every outfit!
