She wanted to be posted where she could be most helpful to the public, while lacking the courage to actually join the Scouting Legion.
*Personality:
Hime is warm hearted and caring towards many, and is rarely quick to anger. She is also quite trusting, which at times can work to her disadvantage when misplaced. Although she may seem fraile, when the moment counts she finds the courage to put everything on the line for others. Also, despite her cheery outward appearance, she harbors a deep sadness within herself since the loss of her fiance.

*Bio:
From the start, Hime had a bit of a rough life. Her parents didn't have much money and Hime would work the odd job to bring more to the table. She also would get beaten up trying to stop bullies from picking on younger children. As if things weren't bad enough for her, Hime's mother had gone missing when she turned 11. No one knows for certain where or how it happened, or if her mother is even alive. However given the time its taken for her to return, she is presumed dead. Hime's life changed as she befriended a young man named Kupo at age 14, and by the age of 16 had fallen in love with him. Willing to do anything to make life better for her family, she followed her beloved to the Academy where she would train to fight against Titans. She was almost certain she wouldn't survive training, but through hard work she prevailed and graduated, albiet not at the top of her class. Things were difficult however when Hime discovered Kupo was joining the Scouting Legion. As badly as she wanted to follow him into battle, she lacked the courage. Kupo didn't hold this against her though, and even proposed after surviving his first mission. One year later, Hime was informed that her fiance was killed in action. This was more than she could handle, and has been dealing with a deep depression since it happened. Although she does not show it outwardly anymore, Hime to this day is still coping with Kupo's death, and makes it a habit to not get too close or attached to people since it happened. As part of the Garrison unit, she keeps a diligent watch out for the wretched creatures that took her fiance away from her, so she may one day dispatch them if and when it is required of her.

Aside from her inward based depression, Hime often as nightmares of how her deceased fiance might have died. Hearing her scream at night is not uncommon. While she takes orders better than taking the lead in a situation, she will not hesitate to try. She also has no respect for those who prey on the weak, or turn away in cowardice when they're are called to act.
