Where the hell was he!? Sheria was worried. Evan had taken his leave from Eden, claiming he wanted to 'clear his mind' and try and come to some sort of understanding of recent events and the news she had recited to him. She was expecting him to be gone for a few hours at most but he had been a lot longer than that and she had a bad feeling. A gut feeling something had happened and she couldn't ignore it. What if he had been injured, or cornered by a sw!? Even worse... What if he was dead? NO. She couldn't think like that.
She paced around Evan's den, the den that had become theirs over the last few days. Snorting loudly in frustration.
"Just wait till he gets here, I'm going to bite him on the nose for this!" She grumbled to herself, tossing her head back to rid the bangs from her vision. Her hazels kept switching from what was in front of her to the entrance of the den in a glare

A blood dropped from his now deep and aching wounds as the stallion walked through the woods. That stallion gave one hell of a fight and nearly killed Evan.He knew that the beast would come after him again one day. He was surely hoping that day wouldn't ever come again, this attack nearly killed him and it didn't help that Sheria's mother had sent many attackers at him before this random male. It was slowly killing him at each step. There was a huge gas in his neck,a wound on his leg nearly to the bone, and some other huge gashes to the poor male.
Evan's eyes started to get lower and lower as he was becoming to weak to walk. His vision started getting blurry and his hooves wouldn't pull him any farther. But he was nearly home,he made it this far why couldn't he walk a little bit farther? It was only just a little way. 'Cmon Evan, cmon!' He tried cheering his weak body on,but it was just too beaten up and bruised to go any farther.
When Evan collasped to the ground a whole bunch of blood splattered all over the ground around him."Sheria...."He tried calling out to her. She probably wouldn't be able to hear him anyway,he was too quiet. All Evan could do was hope that Sheria heard him fall and his cry out ot her. He still tried to move himself,it just wasn't going to move anymore.

Of course her bluffs were just her way of displaying the worry and the panick she was feeling. The frustration of waiting till he got back and having to hold her breath for an uncertain amount of time as a way of restraining herself from going out there and finding him. If there was nothing wrong then it would show him that she lacked trust and she didn't want him to think that. She did trust him and as she had come to find out, everything her brother had said about him had been an understatement. He was so much better than he had portrayed. A great stallion with an even bigger heart.
She sighed, feeling defeated and claustrophobic with the walls of the den constantly containing her. She couldn't take the suspense any longer, she had never been able to deal with it and though she should of called for help and warned the other imps of her concerns she didn't want to disturb them and it would be less suspicious for her to look for him herself. Especially if they were conflicted once she did find him. She clamped her teeth together and dived out in to the land, galloping through the middle plain and to the cave that managed the entrance and exit to Eden.
A great thud nearby caused her to skid to a halt, ears flickering to catch the source of the sound. It sounded like it was coming from the mountain path and a faint whisper of a voice lead her to the peak of the path. She gasped in shock as her eyes met with a beaten and broken body. Blood pools and streams pouring from the creature.
It was Evan. Her heart sunk and she was inwardly kicking herself for not leaving to find him sooner. "EVAAAN!" She cried, running to his side. She lowered her head to nose his cheek but she was hesitant. She didn't want to hurt him or cause him anymore pain than he was already in. She could feel her eyes welling but she knew she had to be strong, strong for him. "W-who did this to you!? w- I have to get help!"

Evan's mind was slowly sinking away into the depths of darkness. His eyes were almost closing and his heart beat was slowing down.If Sheria didn't find him soon he would be a gonner. "Sh...."Slowly rolling onto his side he winced in pain. He laid his head softly upon the bloody grass and tried to keep himself awake.
When was that mare ever going to come looking for him?He was only a short distance away, why didn't she try to come meet him half way or something and wait for him?
He was starting to think he was going to lose it until he heard the sound of pounding hooves. His heart froze in fear,he hoped it wasn't that stallion searching for him.Waiting to see the face of this noise,he looked up.There! It was Sheria! Evan gave a sigh of relief and watched her run in terror towards him.
Her normal sounding voice was now in a screech of fear.He hated hearing her sound like that.Evan tried to give a soft smile to reassure the mare, but it wasn't coming across his face."I...don't...know..." He said as he coughed.Evan felt weak.Look at him,he was all bloodied up and burised. He.He was no warrior. All Evan could think was negative, but why now?Why when Sheria showed up.He only did because she was the love of her life,he always showed a stronger outer shell and Sheria seen him in his weakest state. Why at this moment?

Sheria's eyes were frantically searching his face but with his bangs wayward and splayed across it, all she could really make out was how much pain he was in. She hated it! Hated to see him like this. She had seen her mother in a similar state as a foal and she couldn't come to grips with that either. She knew she was weak and that was the day she had started to figure out that she wasn't right for the path they had set her on. She couldn't cope seeing another creature suffer, she was too soft at heart and too accepting.
She narrowed her eyebrows and took a deep breath. "Ok calm down, think Sheria, think!" She shouted at herself and then as she did as she told herself to do she nodded in agreement to her immediate thought. "This way seem weird but it's the only way I can think to help right now, so bare with me ok?" She gulped as she looked at his deepest wounds, shaking her head. It was gross but canines had antiseptic tongues and if she had inherited that ability then she could at least clean them off and help speed up the healing process.
Attending to his neck wound first, Sheria began licking the blood off of him, the taste wasn't something she particularly enjoyed unlike the rest of her family but she didn't have any other choice. Once she had finished she looked back to his eyes. She could see that he was trying to be nice with her even though his wounds must have been irritating him to uncontrollable discomfort. She smiled warmly at him and tried to speak in a calm voice.
"I need to go get help. Try not to speak, your in no condition to. It will just make you weaker and once you're better, we will get the b*****d that did this to you." She growled and lowered her head to nuzzle in to his mane. She hated having to leave him like this but she didn't have any other choice, The wounds were too deep and without his mother or grandfather to help heal him, he would die.

Evan's face had a look as if he was in huge pain, which he was. These wounds were worse than the ones he had faced when facing Sheria's brother. These ones would leave huge scars among his white body. But that wasn't too concerning right now.The look on Sheria's face made him even more concerned and upset.
He watched as she started talking to herself.Evan laid there as he awaited to see what she was going to do.When she started talking to him all he could do was just wince. As soon as she started licking his wounds he kicked his back hooves and whinnied loudly.Evan tossed his head and gave a somewhat of a temper tantrum. He was in huge amounts of pain and her licking his wounds weren't helping.
When she was finished Evan looked up at her slowly. He seen the smile upon her face as she tried to reasure him that it would be alright and he would heal quickly. All he wanted to do was talk to her and figure out some sort of a plan, but she was right. He couldn't talk or he would strain himself even more with the neck wound. Evan couldn't do anything else besides lay there in this horrible state.

With a huge smile upon his face,Jo trotted around the family lands. He was happy and it was all sunny.Jo barely had a bad day,all he could think of was having good days and making sure everyone in their herd was safe.Jo wasn't much of a fighter but when he really needed to he would.
Fluffing his head feathers he tossed his yellow mane.It felt nice to be running around on this sunny day. What could really go wrong on a day like this?Something surely was somewhere, what little did Jo know that Evan was having a horrible day out in the woods.Without knowing that Evan had found a mare to love and care for on his own,the mare would show up to catch Jo's attention with some bad news.

So far Evan hadn't introduced Sheria to his family yet, so her turning up telling them that Evan was bleeding out and would die without their help wasn't going to go down with them too well. It wasn't the best way to meet but she supposed it had to happen someday. Today just had to be that day. She would have to redeem herself later. Looking at Evan and frowning, she turned hesitantly and grit her teeth then galloped off back up the mountain path and to Eden.
Oh how she hoped there was nothing lurking in the forest, hoping for a quick and easy meal. She really didn't want to leave him and felt guilty for leaving him all on his own. Would he hate her for it? He needed her right now and she needed to be with him! What a cruel twist of events. She had to fight off the tears that were now more compelling than ever. Searching the grounds through a blurry vision she tried to spot which one of these angelic creatures were the ones that she needed.
Seeing two bright blue horns glinting in the light, she headed over to the cloest one first. His grandfather. She didn't have time to worry and right now with his bright and happy smile she knew he wouldn't have that handsome glow about him for long. "Hey!!! HEeeey!!! I need your help! Evans been hurt by something and he is bleeding really bad." She cried out. "He is down the mountain path, by the forests edge!" She didn't have time to explain and instead went straight to Neria, Evan's mother and explained the same to her before making a swift turn on her heels to run straight back to Evan's side. They could follow her lead.

Neria was grazing, she had attended to the herd and made sure duties were going smoothly and checked to see if everyone was ok and if they needed help with anything. In Eden, that was a big job and she needed a small rest, sometimes she couldn't even manage a moment for herself but she didn't mind, it was nice to just get it in when she could. She knew what the job called for and that it wasn't anything to be taken lightly, so long as the herd was safe, she was happy.
Her eyes were quick to catch the sight of strange mare who had been talking with Evan a few days now screaming about something to her father, then once she had done, headed in her direction. Something was wrong, she could feel it. Whether that girl was involved in what was wrong or it was something else she didn't wait to see what the result of it was. Trotting up to the half wolf she listened to the urgency in her voice and then watched as she made a turn and bolted away again.
This wasn't good. HER BABY WAS DYING!? How did this happen! With worry now soaking in every muscle and bone she made her way after the mare. Fear that is might be too late and that she may lose her dear son again flooded through her. She shook her head. She wouldn't lose him again! She couldn't, she wouldn;t be able to take it. Her poor baby... "Momma's coming Evan!" she shouted, her wings, mane and long lion like tail whipped in the wing behind her as she ran.

Evan started to shake from the pain from his wounds. It was hurting him so bad and his vision was slowly going away. He couldn't stand it that he had to lay there while Sheria went to find help.He could only imagine if she went to get his mother. Which...that's probably where she went since most of them were unicorns. His mother was probably screaming bloody murder That poor mare, her baby boy was on the verge of loosing his life, and she wasn't there to help him.
Evan tried to keep blinking to see if there was anyone coming.Hearing distant hooves,he had a little bit of hope that it was Sheria and his family. Hopefully mother and grandfather didn't give Sheria too much of a problem. Though they were probably more worried about him than anything.

Sheria got back to Evan's side first but no sooner was she knocked out of the way by a panicked mother.
Gasping for breath, Neria was speechless. She couldn't comprehend the sighte that was before her. Evan was bleeding out, seriously injured and possibly on the brink of death. She had only ever seen someone she loved in this condition and that was his father on the night they met. She bit her lip hard and the atmosphere surrounding her mimicked the feelings that were swarming inside her.
"Father, please help me. I can't heal him alone." She didn't even glance at him, she couldn't look away from her poor son. Even if everything in her compelled her to kill the mare stood a short distance from them.
Lowering her head she smiled as warmly and as comfortingly as possible at Evan trying to give him a sense of security that everything was going to be just fine. "It's ok now baby, Momma's here." She whispered. Her horn began to glow and she began the healing process immediately.
Sheria fell in to silence. She could feel the darkness of his mother spreading and it was unsettling. Her heart was pounding. She knew not to get too near but it didn't stop the pain. The heartache. She just wished she had of followed him. That she could of prevented this... How could they ever forgive her, especially if Evan didn't make it?
No... No... He would. He had to...

Jo's ears pinned back as they arrived to see Evan torn up into little pieces. "Of course." Jo looked over at the wolf mare as he fluffed his wing in pepreation to start healing his grandson. Lowering his head, his horn started to glow as well.He was also worried like his daughter, just in this moment he wasn't sure if he wanted to show it to anyone.
"Mare."He spoke in a firm voice as him and Neria worked on healing Evan."What happened to him?You are already on bad terms for us finding him like this. So you better tell the truth.."He growled softly and flicked his unicorn tail.He could only wonder how this ever could've happened to him. This was one tragic accident.
Evan would've sighed in relief, but it would hurt him even more. His eyes softened up when his mother started to talk to him. Sheria helped him as well, but there was nothing like being a momma's boy under the hard shell. He tried to shake his head at them when they both gave Sheria harsh looks.I mean,if she did cause it she wouldn't have come to get them.
When they started working,Evan had some shots of pain when his skin started to heal together again.Kicking his legs slightly,he had a hurtful look upon his face.Deciding in his mind that he would never fight alone again until he was more than strong enough to take them on again, thought there was more than one that time.He isn't that much of a superman to take on more than one horse

Sheria shot a puzzled glance at the large stallion. One, she didn't appreciate being referred to as 'mare.' That was just rude and uncalled for. Secondly, she had just rushed to get help for Evan and if it wasn't for her then they would have never known Evan was hurt and he would have been left here, alone, to bleed to death.
Was it really her fault? If she hadn't have stressed him out with the abrupt upload of information regarding her family's plans then he would have never had to go out to clear his mind. He would have never been attacked in the first place and it wouldn't have come down to this!
Sheria's expression continued to twist in to a play of doubt, pity and anger and the tears were the result.
"I'm sorry!" She cried. "I'm sorry Evan. I'm sorry. I didn't want this to happen, would never." She looked to him and then looked away closing her eyes tight. Gritting her teeth. "He said he was going out to clear his mind, I thought he would be gone for a short while but as time ticked on... I knew something was wrong. Still I waited, expecting him to come around the corner any moment. When I couldn't wait any longer..." She had to pause, the sobbing more concentrated now. "I found him like this."
After that Sheria was incapable of speaking anymore, drowning in the tears and the pain.
Neria kept her eyes on Evan though they softened at her fathers concern. This wasn't the time for details, they would work out their problems after Evan was healed, resting and on his way to recovering. When he kicked out his legs she frowned. They were causing him more pain but at least this pain was doing him good. It still stung to see him like this. She couldn't even imagine how much worse this could of been, nor did she want to.

Jo let his guard down as they worked on Evan,He probably shouldn't have asked until they were finished. It was only putting more pressure onto Evan. He kept quiet the rest of the time until they were finished with their work.He was just concerned about his daughters son, which was the world to her.
Evan listened as Sheria started crying out to him.He would've shot a look at Jo,but at the moment he really couldn't do that. All he wanted to say to her was that it was okay,he wasn't dead.It wasn't her fault at all. He was actually kind of glad she kept around even thought he took ages to come back to her. Though,it was bad of him to stay out so long and make her worry so bad.
Now his mother and grandfather were here taking care of him. But he was thankful because he didn't want to bare laying there and Sheria watching him die. Setting his head softly on the ground,he tried to make himself relax while they worked on him. That's all he really could do.But it was making him fall asleep. His eyes slowly started to go close, but he snorted trying to keep them open. Looking over at Sheria, then to his mother. He finally felt safe in the hands of them.
