Adrian quietly and careful slipped out of bed, as to not wake Carlos. He headed towards the kitchen where he started to cook some breakfast for the two of them. It was the least he could do. He felt like he may have been a little short with Carlos the past few days, so breakfast seemed like a good place to start as an apology of sorts. It was nice to have Carlos around so often, but the unicat could be annoying at times, moreso the longer he stays with Adrian, it seems. But, the rat loved the guy and would do anything to try and keep their relationship going at this point. They've had enough ups and downs in the past.

Did he have to work today? Glancing at his watch, he remembered that the answer was no. His hand flopped back on the bed and closed his eyes. He did not want to get up or deal with anything. Sleep was nice. The smells coming in from the kitchen made his stomach his growl, so he rolled over onto it with a muttering whine.

Adrian's ears twitched when he heard Carlos move in the bedroom. He smirked to himself as he imagined Carlos sprawled out in his bed. It was a sweet image. He did hope that the unicat would not come out just yet.
The rat put together two plates of delicious breakfast foods (pancakes, waffles, eggs, etc). He grabbed a jug of juice and put all of it onto a tray. He carried it into the bedroom and stood next to the bed where Carlos had rolled over. "Morning."

Adrian smirked at Carlos when he buried his face in the pillow. It was obvious that the unicat was clinging to sleep for as long as possible. It was kinda cute, not that the rat would ever admit that out loud. "Ah, so you are getting up then." He handed the younger anthro the tray and made sure that it was situated over Carlos' lap in a way that it wouldn't fall. "I hope you are hungry." He moved to the other side of the bed and sat down on it, next to Carlos.

Adrian shook his head at Carlos being silly. "Keep eating everything and watch what happens to you. You might have to let out some of those clothes of yours." He poked the unicat in the stomach. "Eat up, you don't want it to get cold." The rat took a bite of his breakfast. "Did you want to do anything in particular today?" He wondered if Carlos wanted to do anything or just wing it like they normally do.
