 It was another beautiful day, hardly a cloud in the sky with the sun warming her back as she flew over the Kawani lands where she called home. She was so happy to be flying, granted it was a tad chilly out, it was turning out to be a darn near perfect day. It was so refreshing and exhilarating to cruise the skies looking down on all that was around her. She couldn't wait to find out what the day had in-store for her, what new discovery and adventure would await her.
It was then that she saw IT, the biggest and brightest green and pink flower she had ever seen. She made a loop around a small grove of trees before starting her descent her gaze never wavering from the flower. This however was a big mistake as she wasnt watching where she was flying and she flew right through a couple of yellow finches that were headed back to their nest. Hanami flew right into the smaller of the two and they both went tumbling down.
When they finally came to a hault Hanami had a nice little lump on her head from hitting a tree trunk and the bird was laying on the ground unable to move its wing. "OhdearOhdearOhdear!.....Are you ok little birdy. Oh Im so so sorry, I should really learn to pay attention while flying oh my goodness what can I do for you? Oh a healer you need a healer.....Oh umm, where am I...I dont know where I am what am I going to do?!", she said frantically as the young bird tried to notion to her to calm down and that she was fine. But it all went unnoticed as she felt absolutely mortified.

Phillip was enjoying his stroll down a wooded path. The shade of the leaves let enough sun through to warm his back and wings, but not enough to make him sweat and dirty his coat. He breathed in the freshness of the morning, taking note the small scent of flowers. When he looked around, he saw none. There must be a field of them close by. He thought to himself.
He gave an inward shrug and kept walking. His peace was short lived though. The sound of wings made him look up as a mare was flying over head. She seemed as she was enjoying the full heat of the sun. He was about to go back to his business when she made a loop and turned around. Did she see me? He wondered. Does she want to talk with me?
But before that thought had time to sink in, she started to land up ahead. Again, he gave an inward shrug. She must have seen someone she knew---. A loud thud and rustling of leaves broke his train of thought. Philip quickened his stride, then started into a canter to where he had heard the crash from.
He broke into a field, flowers speckling the grass in little bunches. He winced as the unfiltered light hit his eyes, making it harder to find the mare. Finally he saw her. She seemed to be quite frantic as she rushed around in a circle. He trotted up to her, wary not to get in her direct path. "Is something wrong? I heard a thud." Teepee

The initial shell shock had begun to wear off and she calmed a little and again apologized to the little bird. She had a few tears welling up in the corner of her eyes as she was mildly startled by anothers voice. She slowly turned as the few tears fell down her face. "I umm....well I wasn't paying attention when I was landing to inspect a pretty flower I saw while flying and I ran into this little birdy and made her crash.", she said somewhat meekly as she 'pawed' at the ground with her hoof. She hadn't even looked up at the stallion, she was much too embarrassed. "And now Im not sure where I am, and the miss bird is hurt and I dont know what to do.... Im sorry to have disturbed you in passing."
