Ruelash looked over the den thoughtfully. He was dissappointed - they were only little Radaky. Pups, he supposed.

Well, fine. It might as well be easy. He didn't want to stay in this sweating hot place any longer than he had to. He approached the pups, cracking his knuckles. Pups or no, they were still ferocious - he could see their sharp claws even from here. "Allright, little pretties" he said, grinning. This could well be fun, "Lets do this!" he said, leaping towards them.

They dodged him, scampering frantically to the back of their den, crying frantically. There were about four, their eyes large with youth. He had to remind himself that he wasn't killing them- he was catching them. Then again, as long as he came away with one, then the little brat in the trees would tell him how to find Lasarra.

He moved forward cornering them at the back of the cave. Desperate and scared, one of them pounced him. He caught it on his arm and threw it aside, stunning it against the cave wall. The others, heartened by their brother's attempt, all pounced him at once. He struggled against their little claws, striking out with his hands and punching them off of him.

The little claws, he realized, hurt. It felt as though he was in a sharp hailstorm, with the squealing and chirping of the baby Radaku instead of the roar of wind and storm. It was mostly just annoying, but when claws began to skitter against the crystals at his neck and began to score his more sensitive face, he drew the line.

"Geddoffame!" he roared, drawing one of his blades. He hadn't been intending to kill any of the little creatures, but two fell, dead, to his blade. It was a shame - they could have grown up to be magnificent creatures - but such was nature. One lay stunned, the other only winded. He approached the lively one, meeting it's wide green eyes glare for glare. "I've got ye now" he said, sheathing his blade...

Ruelash realized that this was the one that the girl had wanted all along. Good. Maybe she'd tell him then. "Arright, ye little green snot," he said, moving slowly and carefully. He didn't want to kill this one. "Lets get ye to that little girl."

But how? He had to get it wrapped in something so that it wouldn't claw and bite. He stopped, taking something out of his pack. He had just the thing.

He took his scarf - shed in the horrible Jahuar heat - and held it out in front of him. He didn't mind losing the scarf - it was awful, ugly, and threadbare besides. He wanted a new one - a proper fur lined one.

He stalked closer, the Radaku pup squeezing herself closer to the wall. She whimpered, staring up at Ruelash with fear in her shimmeringly green eyes.

He pounced, suddenly, managing to trap her partially under the cloth. The radaku pup struggled, tangling the fabric. He wrestled with her, wrapping the cloth around and around the small body until it was a wriggling lump of cloth. He nudged the cloth aside until her head stuck out, panting and whining in terror.

"There we go..." he murmured, panting himself as he made sure the wrappings were secure, "One baby Radaku, all wrapped up in a little ball." he snickered, stretching as he enjoyed the after-battle rush of adrenaline. Of course, he was covered in scratches and scrapes, but that was immaterial. He'd deal with those later. All he really felt like caring about was that he'd had some fun in this nasty jungle.

Finally, he remembered why he was wrestling baby Radaku in the first place. He picked up the package and left the den, still grinning.
