the town of beginnings. where everyone starts out. they can buy their starting weapon here and come here as a safe haven from the mobs and other players.

 Ukima Mukina
 Ukima was sitting in the main plaza against the wall out of the way. She knew a lot about the game and was busy readying a book. Beside her she was busy writing on a piece of paper what her knowledge of the area was. She wasnt really a beginner, but seemed it. She had the title of Book Keeper already and was good when it came to strategy. She didnt know anybody in the game but she was usually being a lone player, not joining many parties and declining offers for a lot of things. The Book Keeper

Col:100  "What a pain" Wolf said as he sighed. He was looking around at all the shop around him then realizing a lot of them were selling equipment for more than he had. "Well this is what i get for starting a new character" he said as he stretched. As Wolf wandered he found a weapon shop with reasonable prices on them. He scoured through the items hoping he could find a decent weapon to purchase.

ShadeRunning Wild - "Black Wings of Death"Floor/Town: Town of Beginnings HP: 35/35 EXP: 000/200 COL: 50 Shade was walking slowly, silently through the streets of the town, deaf to the noise of everyone around him. He wasn't actually deaf, just chose to mute sounds and voices of other players, as he wasn't one for conversation. He checked his gear, which was quite shabby and rusted and would be for a while until he could afford to either buy newer, stronger armor or reinforce it. His weapons were also dull and chipped, and they would need to be upgraded as soon as possible, but for now he would have to make due with this equipment. Something weak, like boars or wolves would probably be a good start.

Col:45 "aha!" Wolf exclaimed excitedly as he found a katana. he quickly grabbed it off the mount and pulled it out of its sheathe. He then immediately began to try it out by using his << >> he casually placed the katana by his side and swing up quickly hearing the charge end sending a small ripple through the dirt in front of him. "perfect ill take it" he said as he placed 20 col on the counter. "oh id like a custom scythe as well" he said as he placed another 35 on top of the 20. he watched as the npc clerk went into the back and made him one. he calmly waited for it to be made and so he wandered around town a bit more, his new katana on his hip

ShadeRunning Wild - "Black Wings of Death"Floor/Town: Town of Beginnings HP: 35/35 EXP: 000/200 COL: 30 Shade opened up his map, looking for the way to get to Floor One so he could train on boars and wolves. After a little bit of searching, he found it and started to head in the direction of the town's exit. Perhaps he should buy a potion or two, but boars shouldn't be that hard to kill. Making his way through the crowded street, he found an Apothecary and entered so he could buy 2 Healing potions. He paid the owner 20 Col for the potions and stored them in a rather small pouch to hold inventory with enough room to hold five items. The starting gear was shoddy, but as was to be expected, not to mention prices seemed rather high for a beginner's area. After making sure he had all of his items in check, consisting of 2 potions and his somewhat ineffective starting gear, Shade started back off toward the first Floor, aiming to grab some Col and EXP.

Ukima Mukina Ukima closed her book and looked down to the marketplace area. There were a lot of people logging in now and she got up and picked up the papers she was writing on. "Okay so everything known about the first floor so far i know and wrote my own experiences so fat.. Now i should look around to see what kind of weapons are around and used." She said as she looked down at the blade she started with. It looked like a katana since she leveled up and it changed forms some. "Well no need for items.. i have a few.." She said and stretched. Location: Town of Beginnings, Main Plaza "A wise man once said a journey of a thousand steps begins with the first" It took him five seconds for him to gain his bearings, another three to make sure he was all there, he sighed silently as he looked around the Town of Beginnings. His name online was Raijin and this was his first time login into SAO. He walked around for a bit getting use to the virtual world, he couldn't believe how real it felt. He smiled and opened his inventory,"a hundred col...okay" he nodded to himself and started checking the shops around the plaza, his avatars hair was white, his eyes discolored one red and one green. His arm was wrapped in what looked like leather, he slowly walked into a small shop that seemed to have quite a few good weapons for sale. he skulked around wondering what weapon would best suit him, his eyes darting from dagger, to broadsword, only to finally stop on the buster blade. He grinned and picked it up and walked over paying for his weapon he also bought himself a large cloak, rather cheap if he did say so himself. He put his blade on his back and his cloak walking out of the shop her glanced at the center and brought his hood over his eyes as he walked towards it. thinking "I took my first step away from reality to be taken into the virtual worlds embrace"

Col: 15 "Ah heres a place" Wolf said as he rounded a corner and spotted a shop. He casually opened the door to the shop as he entered, a bell ringing as he did so. he said the npc shopkeeper stand up and wait for him to purchase something. Wolf Casually wandered through the building eventually finding the cloaks. he sifted through a couple before finding a jet black one that had the hood hanging low enough it covered his face. "Prefect." he said as he smirked and pulled the hood back. He approached the npc and purchased his cloak and politely waved as he left the building. "Now then lets go check on my scythe again." he said as he pulled the hood back over his face and headed towards the shop.

He followed the quickest route on his map, hoping to be able to get some. It was a short ways away, at least a minute's walk at his current casual stride. He could see other players moving about, rushed and talking and sending out party requests. He had even gotten a few, but had denied all of them. He didn't want to be accused of leeching, nor did he want anyone to slow him down. After some time, Shade had reached the town's exit, and the way to Floor One. He calmly stepped out beyond the walls of the town, and into the challenge ahead. [Exit to Floor One]

Ari smiled, her eyes closed as she took in a deep breath. The crisp air of Aincrad filled her lungs as she held the breath in before slowly exhaling. She had only heard stories of this game, and now it was time for her to explore. The first thing she did was press at the air, opening her menu. A rush of relief to see the 'Log Out' option filled her as she closed the menu. Ari had never been very good with games such as this, knowing she likely wouldn't get far in the game. However, it would help to pass the time and occupy her mind from things at home. For that, she would give it a try. Who knows, perhaps she could meet some new friends. Smiling, Ari started her way down the street, watching as a few people walked about, some clearly far more advanced than she and some others still just getting their own starting gear. In fact, that was something she should figure out how to do as well, knowing she would need a basic weapon as well as some armor. "Well, here goes nothing."

Col: 15 Wolf yawned widely as he strolled down an ally way. "I hope they have it done" he said as he stretched a bit knocking the hood off his head. "eh I'll leave it down for now." he said as he shrugged. He quickly tucked his arms back inside and watched the crowds of people walked down the main road. "hmm interesting, some of these people seem less geared then me" he said as he chuckled to himself. He slightly adjusted the sword that was under his cloak due to it smacking his leg a bit. "thats a slight pain" he said as he fidgeted.

Ari made her way down the road, trying to sort out where things were and how to get started in this new game. Spotting a man making his way down the alley, she blushed lightly, wondering if he could at least help her get started. Surely she would die right away without any training or help in the fields. She heard rumors of guilds, but not being a gamer, she didn't exactly know what that was nor how to start. All she knew was that she wanted to try. Quickly trotting after the man, she gave a small wave, her magenta cape fluttering behind her as it contrasted her blue dress nicely. While it had minimal armor built into it, she was unsure as to whether it would be enough. "Excuse me..~" Quickly catching up to him, she brushed her hair back out of her face. "Could... could you perhaps show me where to get a weapon?" It was obvious she was new and that she had never played any games such as this before, surely needing help with not only getting started, but leveling and surviving.

Smiling softly, Ari was relieved that the man was not only willing to help, but that he wouldn't tease her for being so new to the game. Nodding happily to the offer of being shown to the shop, Ari walked happily behind him. "Yes, thank you. I... I've never played these sorts of things before. It can be a lot to take in." Giving a nervous laugh, she continued. "I keep getting lost and I haven't even made it outside of the town yet." Brushing a loose strand of hair back, she gave him a shy smile. It would be a sight to watch the girl try to battle her way through the levels, but she wanted to at least try.
