Finally, her shift was almost over. Not that she minded working. Cherry was nothing if not a hard worker. She'd work any time they wanted her. She loved being useful and doing a great job. She would half live there some weeks. Especially during finals time when their staff that were students had to take time to study and take their tests. She ended up working lots of hours those weeks.

Still, even she liked to get out and do something fun every now and then. Sometimes, it was walks in the park with her camera. Sometimes it was just looking up some new pie recipes to work on at home. Sometimes, shopping for new pie recipe ingredients was pretty fun too.

When she saw Jude walk in, she started to feel a little excited. She had been thinking that day it'd be fun to go out and do some dancing somewhere. Hmm. What to wear too... Yeah. Sometimes her ensembles weren't that great. As much as she liked to dress up, she had a little trouble with getting a great look together.

She waved when he was closer. "Hey Jude! Am I happy to see you!"

Despite his less than enthusiastic response. Also, despite the fact her presence didn't seem to have effect him in any positive manner was a little disconcerting. She let that roll off her shoulders.

"Well, if you're here; there means I get to leave soon. I'm having me a night out. Gonna find something hot to wear and go dancing. I really don't get out enough."

That was just the honest truth. Not that anyone was forcing her to spend unseemly hours in her kitchen baking scrumptious things to perfection. Still, while it was a fulfilling hobby, it was also a lonely one most of the time. being an only child, she was nearly perpetually lonely.
