Lee Jayden was out for a walk. He was headed towards the shop, but he wanted to get outside for a bit before he got there, so he was taking his time. It had been awhile since he had gone to the shop and he missed it. Well, truth be told, he missed a certain hybrid the most out of everything. LJ was really hoping to see him today. Scythe was important to him and he wanted to see him to finally tell him just how important his was. It was time that LJ manned up and said that he was crushing on the other anthro. Even if it means getting his heart broken.

Scythe was finally taking the time to get out and about after having stayed cooped up for the last few months due to a new situation he had found himself in. Rubbing the back of his neck he sighed shoving his hands into his pockets, his ponytail unusually messy as he strolled down the sidewalk staring at his phones screen.

LJ saw someone a little ways a head and it took him a moment to realize who it was. He grinned and speed up until he was next to the hybrid. He cleared his throat, so that he hopefully wouldn't startle the other too bad. "Hello, Scythe. You were just the anthro I wanted to see."

vampire werewolf fangirl2 Regardless of the throat clear Scythe jumped and shoved his phone in his pocket, though not before LJ would see a glimps of pale skin in the picture displayed on his screen if he had been paying attention. Seeing lee jaydens face still made the tired looking boy smile, though there was a hint of pain behind it. "Hey LJ, how have you been? It's been to long" he said quietly, it took him a moment to comprehend what he had said "wait, you were looking for me?" He asked curiously.

LJ put a hand on Scythe's arm. "I am sorry. I did not mean to startle you." He offered the other a small smile. "What were you looking at?" He only got a glimpse of it, not enough to figure out what it was. "I have been well, I suppose. I have missed our interactions greatly. How have you been?" LJ nodded. "I was hoping to see you today, yes. I was keeping an eye out in case you were around. As I said, I have missed you."

Scythe shook his head with a sad smile as the boy apologized "no need to apologize, and um, I was looking at a picture" he said while avoiding eye contact with the bookworm who walked beside him momentarily. Scythe softened greatly at the mention of LJ missing him and his eyes grew misty as his ears dropped a bit "I have been... busy..." he said glancing away for a moment before snaking his arm into LJ's as he spoke "I have missed you too" he said a bit quieter than he had been previously speaking. Scythe leaned his head over onto LJ's gently and heaved a small sigh as he closed his eyes and smiled over their closeness.
