You know what they say when you die.... 'You see a tunnel that leads to white light and utter peace'.... bullshit... I saw a tunnel.... all right, and it had light at the bottom... but peace? I found something I utterly didn't expect... something nobody would believe... people think reality is what we create... well... this one I literally fell into!!

Ξ Ξ Ѻ Ξ Ξ
"My name... is Sutō Koutsuki, and I grew up usually moving around. I was born in Tokyo, Japan in the Nerima district known for its martial artists, though I moved away from there with my father at the age of five. I only had two or three friends there, so it wasn't much of a loss. I stand 5' 6" tall now that I'm eleven and I've got mostly lean muscle in appearance due to regular running and training though I do wear weighted clothing very often. I was running on the beach one morning when I paused, seeing that someone had gotten hit by a car when crossing the road; I could see the girl lying in the road with a guy crouched over her whom I assumed to be her boyfriend or brother. I jogged across the road, though it was the biggest mistake I ever made... and the last. I remember feeling and hearing the bones in my legs shattering as I was hurled over the sports car's hood and windshield, though when I closed my eyes upon seeing the road coming at my face... something strange happened. I felt no impact and opened my eyes to see a strange swirling vortex of light. I looked down at my shattered legs and was shocked to see my bloody jeans and shredded gi bottoms.... but no bones sticking out. I shifted subtly, realizing whatever had happened had healed my legs. My gaze shifted as the strange light... an odd blend of dark blue, cyan, indigo, green, and silver, came closer before engulfing me. I remember blinking several times to get my sight back from being blinded by whatever the light was before I saw a bridge probably thirty feet below me with mist covering probably two thirds of its length along with several boats beneath the unfinished end. It was then that I realized that I was headed for the unfinished end as I saw some strange spark of light with the crackling of lightning before I noticed the girl darting towards the giant restrained man. "Who uses dogs to restrain someone?" I muttered as I flipped so that my feet would take the impact before I hit hard and kicked up a plume of concrete dust as I noticed the light flying straight at me before I reacted, my hands catching the wrist of the silver haired man just behind... a handful of lightning?!?! I twisted and dropped the man hard onto his chest and chin, though as I turned, I saw the dark navy-indigo eyes of the girl staring at me with shock as well as the giant man who had what appeared to be bandages covering his mouth and nose staring at me warily. I'll admit, I found the girl very cute although I didn't know her. I heard clapping through the mist as it started to dissipate, showing a mob of armed men. "I assume you're the idiots who were in the boats," I said coldly, grabbing my torn gi top and jerking it away before it hit the pile of timber several feet away which almost immediately imploded into a shower of splinters. I could feel a strange... warm energy surging through my body as I lifted both hands, feeling an odd... icy emptiness gathering in one hand as intense warmth gathered in the other. Haku's eyes widened as the strange kid with long, curly dark reddish gold hair falling down his back discarded his gi, which shattered a thick pile of lumber telling her immediately it was heavily weighted. She didn't know why his clothes were tattered and ripped so badly, but when he spoke as she noticed Gato, not all that surprised to hear Zabuza-sama's low growl of anger before she shivered, feeling intense chakra rising as she saw something that made her gasp: a sphere of darkness that seemed to eat the surrounding light hovered in the young man's left hand, while a sphere of blinding light hovered in his right. She glanced towards Zabuza-sama as the dogs dispelled in bursts of smoke, letting his body drop to his knees as both of them stared towards the boy. She saw Sharingan Kakashi rolling to his feet as the blond in the orange jumpsuit ran towards him before sliding to a stop, staring at the boy just as they were. "You know what they say about life... it's a game of being Dead or Alive," I snarled as I hurled first the sphere of darkness at the mob, which expanded and apparently paralyzed them all before I hurled the sphere of light, which flared before transforming into a rotating box that reminded me vaguely of the Lament Configuration before it exploded in a blast of sparks and dust, revealing that the mob had been vaporized while the bridge remained untouched. I didn't notice the quarter sized mark burn itself into the back of my right hand... of an inverted triangle within a circle with triangles pointing off of its tips, glowing navy for several seconds before fading to black. I dropped to one knee, breathing hard before I looked towards the girl, seeing her push off the ground and catch me before I fell to the ground. The last words I heard before passing out were "Who are you?" from the girl.

"His name seems to be 'Sutō Koutsuki', though where he came from is a mystery," I heard as my eyelids fluttered before snapping open as I sat up in an unfamiliar bedroom in a bed with the sheets and blankets falling around my hips. I realized the raven haired girl, who was still wearing that odd pale blue and dark teal kimono, was kneeling beside the bed with my school ID in hand, though for some reason it looked... melted. All that was noticeable was my name in kanji. I let myself fall back onto the bed with a groan, though I was surprised when the girl's cool hands brushed my chest. It was then that I realized that all I wore was my dark green undershirt and black boxers with a dark navy-indigo streak down the outsides of the legs.

I exhaled slowly, groaning slightly, though I was mildly surprised when the raven haired girl's cool hands pressed me back into the bed; I hadn't even realized I'd sat up. "Last thing I remember... was that sports car hitting me," I mumble as I close my eyes, not noticing the confused looks on the raven haired girl's face and the pinkette's face. My eyes snapped open as memories flooded my mind... memories I didn't want. I remembered the impact... and worse... the impact with the road on my skull and neck and the sickening crunching sounds that went with it. I distantly heard the pinkette saying something about a bucket before I leaned over the side of the bed and emptied my stomach, thankfully into a bucket that had slightly tanned hands holding it. I sensed the raven haired girl rubbing my shoulders as I coughed several times. <********... nobody should remember their own damned death," I grumbled, ignoring the inhalations of shock from both girls. I heard the door open and unconsciously reacted without thinking, my hand flashing up as the marking I now noticed on the back of my hand flared with a navy aura before a bolt of pitch black lightning blew a fist sized hole through the door. I heard someone fall as if in shock before the door swung open to reveal a silver haired man with an odd face mask on and a headband that covered his left eye. "Maa.. maa... we aren't going to hurt you... we wanted to ask you a few questions," he said smoothly. "Let me guess: how I got here and how I did what I did with that mob... because the answer to both is the same: no ******** clue," I grumbled sarcastically. "Last thing I remember is something nobody should... my own death from getting hit by a car... broke both legs, crushed skull, snapped neck, broken right shoulder, dislocated left hip..." I growled, blinking in confusion as I rattled off injuries.... that I didn't even realize I'd had... yet I was certain I had had them... but now, somehow, I didn't. "I'm Haku, and this is Sakura.. and that is Kakashi," the raven haired girl said in a comforting voice before her cool palm touched my forehead as a look of concern crossed her face. "You have a bit of a fever, but with the amount of chakra you were putting out... and the impressive control you have... it isn't much of a surprise to me," she said with a small smile that made her look quite cute. "Uh... what are you talking about?" I said blankly, not really understanding what she was talking about... before it hit me. Chakra... what the hell?!? There's only one kid who would wear a neon orange jumpsuit in a fight... but how did I end up here? I thought. I was confused and wary. And... this, I thought, glancing down at the mark on the back of my right hand. The Digital Hazard... and that attack... the Ultimate Sacrifice... was only known by one being... and I'm not him, I realize. I sighed and laid back against the bed, hearing someone leave before returning before I felt a wet warm cloth rubbing gently against my face and closed eyes. I shifted slightly, though I was mildly surprised when I felt the damp warmth slide over my throat and shoulders before disappearing. A couple of minutes passed before it returned, moving over my arms and chest. Is she giving me a bath of some sort? I thought, dozing though I didn't even really realize it.

I frowned slightly, realizing I was floating in a void that shifted and waned with shades of indigo, navy, black, and silver with faint arcs of golden energy crackling intermittently. "Where am I?" I muttered, my gaze sweeping the void which seemed to stretch forever... yet at the same time sweep around, as if it were a sphere. I blinked as I noticed a floating form... a child probably two thirds my own height. I spotted the golden rings around his wrists and ankles first, then the odd violet tattoos that were glowing slightly... what really caught my eye, however, was the mark on his left hand... the Digital Hazard. My eyes narrowed as a low, melodic chuckle with dark undertones floated through the void. "So, you've realized who I am... and you will be my rebirth," his voice said with amusement. "Unlikely. I know who and what you are... I won't be your tool of 'rebirth'... you're going to be my b***h, Lucy-mon," I snapped with a smirk. He floated closer, his blond hair swaying around his shoulders and icy blue eyes staring into mine. "We will see. But regardless.. you are mine," he said, his voice deepening on the last word as he shoved me out of the void and my mindscape. I awoke as Haku placed a damp cloth on my forehead, gasping, not noticing how she retreated momentarily before I felt the damp warmth on my forehead. 'Great, now I'm apparently the host of a homicidal Digital Demon Lord,' I thought sarcastically.

"Are you feeling better, Sutō-san?" Haku said gently. I sighed softly, shifting a bit on the bed. "Been better, but the fact that I'm alive is better than can be said for my memories at the moment," I said softly. "I know a little about what chakra is... but I've never used it, though I'm sure that I have a lot of it," I muttered after a couple of minutes. I saw the frown on Haku's face and lightly brushed her cheek with my fingers, amused as she jumped in surprise. "I remember my own death... not a pleasant thing... yet somehow, I survived in a way that should be impossible," I said softly. She blinked, though to my surprise, it wasn't pity that I saw in her eyes, but understanding. 'Thank Kami... I don't need pity... never had, really,' I thought. I blinked as a woman with black hair and dark navy highlights and dark gray-black eyes stepped into the room with a smile and a tray of soup and what I smelled was milk. "Thank you for helping us, though you clearly don't know us. I repaired your clothes as best I could," she said cheerfully.

"How, exactly?" was all Haku said, her tone interested and thoughtful. "Good question, since I have no idea how it's even remotely possible to survive... unless I'm really comatose," I sighed, hissing as Haku pulled back a needle roughly half as thick as a knitting needle between her fingers that had a couple of drops of blood running down it as my gaze dropped to the puncture wound just above my elbow that had a thin trail of blood trickling from it before the wound simply vanished in a tiny wisp of steam. I blinked a couple of times. 'Or not,' I simply thought. I blinked, my eyes narrowing fractionally as crimson ink spread from the area where the wound was, spiraling down my right forearm over the Digital Hazard mark which ignited a brilliant indigo before doubling itself. The original glowed a brilliant navy while the newer mark, inverted over the original, glowed a hot silver before both marks faded to black. "What was that?" Haku said before noticing the young man was unconscious. She turned to Tsunami, taking the tray from her and setting it next to the bed before smiling as the civilian woman walked out of the room after brushing her fingers through the Sutō's hair. Haku settled next to the bed, unsure why she was reluctant to leave him alone.

I awoke sharply and suddenly, unaware that there was a very different name leaping from my lips... the name of "Calliope!!" My gaze darted around, wary and cautious, unaware that my body, even in its weakened state, was very much tense and responsive. 'That had to be the most... unusual dream,' I thought. I recalled the God Of War games that I'd played and assumed that they'd filtered into my mind... but it felt too real for that. 'Kratos... if his words are to be believed.... said that there would be a scroll with his weapons sealed away within, only accessible to me,' I thought. I shifted the covers, inhaling in surprise as it revealed a deep bronze, gold, and crimson scroll easily three inches thick where it had been lying next to my thigh... as if I'd awoken holding it. 'He did hand me the scroll as he spoke,' I remembered. I heard muffled words before I turned my head, holding back a snorted laugh as I saw Haku, who had clearly dozed off next to the bed, with the covers tossed over her head and shoulders. "Sleep well, honey?" I quipped with amusement as she jerked the covers off of her head. I couldn't tell if her red face was from embarrassment or anger. She looked away with a snort and handed over the tray of soup that was still steaming, so I must not have been out for long.

"So what happened?" Haku asked. "Let's just say that I have a bloodline... one feared for its bloodlust.. the Tamaruta," I muttered as I started eating the soup, finding it to be delicious. "What happened was that my ancestor... well, he tamed what apparently managed to merge itself with me... wasn't easy, but he did say there might be some side effects in a couple of weeks to a month or so," he said quietly. I shifted as I drank the milk, swinging my legs over the opposite side of the bed before the pain hit, making my shoulders feel like someone had super-glued a hot griddle to my shoulder blades and was turning up the heat. I heard a low groan, unaware it was me before I felt Haku's hands on my shoulders before I heard the door bang open and a cocky voice snap. "So our mighty savior's awake... is he going to train me in his techniques on the way back to Konoha?" I spun, pushing off of the bed and out of Haku's reach as she sprawled across the bed with a gasp and surprised look. I landed in a crouch near the window, my eyes on the black haired kid with onyx eyes and a self serving, superior smirk. I closed my eyes as I felt the pain sharply decrease and heard the fabric of my shirt rip with a sharp rasping rip. I didn't bother to look behind me and so didn't see the four foot wide wings springing from my shoulder blades. The one springing from my right shoulder blade was a brilliant silver with white undertones, while the one from my left shoulder blade was a deep pitch black that glistened as if dipped in oil with indigo undertones. I cocked my head slightly. I said only three words to him. <******** off, kid," I said in an icy tone. The guy frowned before he drew a knife I recognized immediately as a kunai.

Haku readied a needle before my hand flashed out, the scroll that had been in the bed flying into my hand before I hurled it, hitting the guy squarely between the eyes and sending him staggering into the hall with a yelp of surprise and anger as I caught the spinning scroll. "That scroll belongs to the Uchiha Clan, hand it over!!" he shouted. "Cute... but if it didn't open when it busted that hard head of yours open due to the seal on it... then how would that make it yours, you limp dicked p***y?" he said, ignoring Haku's snort of incredulous laughter. I rolled my eyes as I saw the raven haired idiot's hand dart to the thin trickle of blood over his right eye where the scroll had bounced off of his forehead. "Sucks to be you, don't it, b***h?" I said dryly as I spun the scroll in my hand as I folded my wings tight against my shoulders, feeling an intense itch as they melted into the skin of my back and reformed as a single kanji between my shoulder blades. I spotted a flicker of movement before Kakashi caught the boy's shoulder, making him smirk. "Idiot," I muttered as a blond kid, the one I'd noticed earlier, shoved the raven haired kid from behind as he caught and vaulted over the railing into the door jamb, which made me snort slightly. Haku looked at me over her shoulder, making me shrug as my thumb idly stroked the lion's visage before I nicked my thumb on one of the incisors, the droplets of blood landing in the mouth before the eyes glowed a bright blue before the lock glowed golden before rising slightly, revealing the scroll had been unsealed.

I cocked my head slightly as the raven haired kid, whom Kakashi introduced as Sasuke, and the blond, who introduced himself as Naruto Uzumaki, spoke. "Make sure Pencil d**k there pulls the pine tree out of his a**... or I'll do it for him... and I'll be far less gentle about it," I said coldly. Haku and Naruto both snorted laughter as Sasuke hurled the kunai at me, which I caught by the hilt with one hand in a swiping movement as I half leaned against the windowsill.

Ren shifted his weight slightly, the broad headed arrow hitting the kunai and deflecting up into the ceiling. I twisted subtly before hurling it in one fluid movement and pinning the bowman to the tree several dozen yards outside. "You know as well as I do, he ain't alone... find the others," I said in a low voice, ignoring the reddened scratch on the side of my cheek.

Ren shifted his weight, crouching momentarily as he flicked his wrist, the scroll unfurling in his hand before flaring into light. He shifted his weight in the dark burgundy and black body armor he now wore. It was black along his ribs and inner thighs as well as his throat and forearms but kept his hands and feet free and bare. He glanced down as the arrow hit and shattered like brittle glass. "b***h, please," he muttered as he flicked his wrist slightly, the scroll vanishing into a deep golden bracer on his right forearm with the same snarling lion's visage before he shot at high speed towards the bowman, who stumbled back as he tried to nock another arrow. He drove a piledriver punch into the man's abdomen, making him spit up blood from the cracked floating ribs before I lifted him, pinning his legs with my forearms and holding his shoulders before dropping him into a Psycho Driver, snapping his neck and collarbones like twigs.

Ren stood, glaring at the body as a very slight crazy gleam entered his eye before he spun, driving his shoulder in a brutal Spear into the swordsman's abdomen, disarming him in the impact before he rose to his feet. He grabbed the guy by one arm and one leg before he spun twice, spotting Sakura from the corner of his eye before he released the guy into the side of a boat deck which crunched as a spur of wood went through his chest from behind.

"Y-you just killed that guy," Sakura mumbled. "Deal with it. It's better than having that guy beat and possibly rape you, then kill you for the amusement," Ren said flatly. He half turned, a staff narrowly missing him before he smirked ever so slightly, pushing off into a missile Dropkick that sent the man stumbling back before he caught the guy in an inverted hold and pushed off the ground sharply before slamming his head into the ground with a boom due to the Tombstone piledriver. "Rest in Peace, b***h," Ren growled before stumbling as a rough hewn staff broke across his shoulders before he stood straight, tilting his head slightly. "Gonna have to hit harder than a child, dickless," he snapped as he sidestepped what was meant to impale him through the chest with the broken staff, now a stake. He sneered as he used the Clothesline from Hell, folding the man up as he fell squarely onto the back of his head on the dock that went around the side of the home.
