The Cargo Bay is a football field-sized room with a retractable wall running down the center. The Bay can be modified for a myriad of uses. Cargo Bay is located in the Aft section of the ship. and has a door large enough for a single transport to fly through from space. The door is a sliding sheet of armor, protected by a forcefield at all times.

~~Petty Officer 3/C Horace "Brawler" Harkness~~ "Strategy is about changing unfavorable circumstances into a favorable situation." "Yo, Harkness, come check this s**t out!" A Spacer 2/C called out to Harkness, who meandered over, padd in hand, a little bored. He had no idea why he was in the Cargo bay, doing inventory, instead of Engineering things. After he'd linked the tactical sensors to the Big brother sensor suite, a Senior Petty Officer had assigned him here. "What is it, Spacer?"It was a rather large container with a strange symbol. "The ******** pointed the padd at it, which scanned the symbol.
"Ferogan Imperiate? This is some old s**t. You two, open it."
Two spacers hefted the heavy lid off, revealing what looked like a teenaged boy.
"What in the hell?"
He leaned over to examine him.
"Well, I'll be damned. A friggen android."
he glanced at the pair of Marines by the door. Both were armed and had their armor on. They were there in case the people opened up something dangerous. Like an android built back when the Ferogans were the enemy.
"Well, why the hell not?"
He popped open a panel on the crate and began inputting commands, linking it to his padd. He didn't speak Ferogan, but the padd did. And he was turning the android on. And, to be safe, he installed an overload command. If it was dangerous, with the push of a button, he could shut down all it's cooling systems and cause the internal hardware to heat up, destroying it

I am the shadow, and smoke in your eyes. From the android, a series of clicks and whirrs could be heard, the body shifting lightly. These noises were servos, sensors, and other advanced electronic doodads powering on, calibrating themselves. The small plates that made up the pale white skin of the android flexed, raising lightly in a ripple pattern that travelled down the droid's body, before, finally, the droid's eyes opened, two pools of blue-grey that looked at the two men in front of him blankly.
The droid said nothing, instead adjusting the lenses in its (his?) eyes, more calibrations as his systems came online. Eventually, however, the droid's eyes focused on the two, moving forward and out of his case so his stood in front of them. Symbols danced in his eyes, indecipherable to anyone but the droid. With a small whir, the droid adopted a military-style posture, speaking in a voice that could be considered youthful, but with an obvious mechanical flange that did credit to the droid's appearance.
"Ferogan Military Industries T667 A.I.N.G.E.L. serial number 1101-0945 online. Unidentified personnel detected. Attempting to contact handler....."
There was a pause, the droid looking up as it apparently tried to send out a signal to his handlers, who, tragically, had been killed in the recent accident. After a moment, he blinked, his eyes refocusing in what could almost be described as confusion. "Error. Unable to establish connection to handlers." Suddenly, he jerked his blank gaze to Harkness. "Identify." I am the ghost, that hides in the night.

~~Petty Officer 3/C Horace "Brawler" Harkness~~ "Strategy is about changing unfavorable circumstances into a favorable situation." As the Android climbed out of the crate, the Marines stepped forward. And once he assumed an aggressive posture, the rifles came up, safeties off, but neither fired. Both were fare enough apart that they couldn't be hit at the same time. Harkness put his hands up, not in surrender, but trying to clam him down. "Look, I don't speak no Ferogan. Ya know Common?"Though the Android was made back in the Imperiate days, there was a chance that it spoke Galactic Common, if it's creators had uploaded it after the UEF joined the war on the Se-combeians' side.

I am the shadow, and smoke in your eyes. The droid refocused his eyes again, his gaze jerking back to the marines as they raised their weapons, more agressive-looking symbols showing in his eyes. He did not flinch or raise a hand in combat, however, looking back to Harkness when he spoke again. There was a small pause, and then the droid spoke again, this time in Galactic Common. "...Identify." I am the ghost, that hides in the night.

~~Petty Officer 3/C Horace "Brawler" Harkness~~ "Strategy is about changing unfavorable circumstances into a favorable situation." "Well, that's a start."He looked over at the marines, who hadn't moved at all, then back at the android. "Petty Officer, Third Class Horace Harkness."He didn't give his affiliation, just in case it was still hostile to them.

I am the shadow, and smoke in your eyes. The droid listened, then gave a stiff nod. "Human." The word was not with any sort of racial or discriminatory tones, simply a statement of the species in front of him. The aggressive posture now became one of a formal military pose, legs straight, hands behind his back. "This unit is a Ferogan Military Industries T667 A.I.N.G.E.L., Serial Number 1101-0945. My handlers have given me the informal designation "Aingel." However, I am having trouble contacting them." The droid gave the names of three Ferogans would be listed as casualties of the previous incident. "May this unit speak to your superior?" I am the ghost, that hides in the night.

~~Petty Officer 3/C Horace "Brawler" Harkness~~ "Strategy is about changing unfavorable circumstances into a favorable situation." This time, the marines dropped their rifles, though the safeties were still off. "Umm...I don't know if I have the authority to do that...I could find out for you, but I can't just waltz you in to see her..."While technically, there were quite a few superiors, he figured the android would want to see the Captain. "Besides, I think the Old Lady's busy."

I am the shadow, and smoke in your eyes. Aingel stared blankly. "This unit has 704,453 logs pertaining to 'waltzing' and an additional 3,242,187,433 logs pertaining to dancing in general. However I am unable to find any reference for there being a requirement to 'waltz' in order to speak to a superior officer...." One could have taken it for a smart-aleck comment, however, the droid seemed completely serious. Before waiting for a response, however, Aingel continued. "This unit is not authorized to be without handlers at any given time. I must get contact with the Ferogan Military." I am the ghost, that hides in the night.

~~Petty Officer 3/C Horace "Brawler" Harkness~~ "Strategy is about changing unfavorable circumstances into a favorable situation." Harkness grinned. "An android that cracks jokes. I like it."He knew it wasn't meant that way, but he took it as such. "I like you, kid. What's your name?"Even though he was an engineer, he treated all machines like they were animate and alive, even the engines themselves.

I am the shadow, and smoke in your eyes. Aingel tilted his head at the mention of cracking jokes. He was about to respond that he had not intended to be joking, as his emotional emulators were deactivated, but the man then asked for his....name? A quick search of his archives gave him the definition "personal designation." Accepting this, Aingel spoke. "My previous handlers gave me the informal designation 'Aingel.' This unit will accept that as a....name." I am the ghost, that hides in the night.

AINGELPROJECT667 This unit's designation is Three of Five. This guy reminds me so much of the Borg, it ain't even funny. ~~Petty Officer 3/C Horace "Brawler" Harkness~~ "Strategy is about changing unfavorable circumstances into a favorable situation." "Okay then...Aingel? Nah. Too much work. How 'bout Angel? It's a unisexual name...even if you're not exactly a specific gender, I'm guessing. If you were made by Ferogans, I'd but money on you being able to change shape."He sent a message to the Captain through his padd.

Lord Redtail Rathan Oh, yeah, forgot to mention. "Aingel" and "Angel" are pronounced the same. I am the shadow, and smoke in your eyes. Again Aingel tilted his head, and spoke again, as matter-of-factly as a droid without emotions could manage. "Aingel" is pronounced in the same manner as "Angel." The difference between the terms is in spelling only." I am the ghost, that hides in the night.

AINGELPROJECT667 That would have been nice to know. I've been saying it "Eingel." ~~Petty Officer 3/C Horace "Brawler" Harkness~~ "Strategy is about changing unfavorable circumstances into a favorable situation." "Yea, except we ain't gonna write that down. Too machine like." He glanced down at the padd. Luna had responded, telling him she was on her way, but to keep the Marines there.

Lord Redtail Rathan Eingel works too. I Suppose it just depends on how you read it. Have you been pronouncing the G like Giraffe or like Goat? I am the shadow, and smoke in your eyes. "This unit is a machine." Aingel said rather bluntly. "Therefore whether it is considered 'too machine like' is not relevant." But, Aingel waited patiently, watching Harkness, occasionally turning a glance to the marines in an almost....curious fashion. I am the ghost, that hides in the night.
