The space holding the Unity's main engine. A cathedral-sized space holding metric tons (literally) of fast moving metal. A very dangerous place to just wander, you might come out with plasma burns, gashes from the stabilizers, and any other amount of injury from various important things. Inside the engine room, the few remaining engineers were scrambling to get primary systems up and running. While no one was standing around, barking orders, no one was organized enough to make sure everything ran smoothly.

 Aralinna stepped into the engine room to find chaos from the remaining members of the team. She let out a deep sigh as she took three step forward and yelled loud enough for them to here. "Alright listen the hell up I am taking command of this section as of right now. I need a damn update report now so I can evaluate and prioritize what needs to be done. If I don't get it within five minutes I will find out myself and if I have to find out myself I'll make your life hell down here. Is that damn clear?" The serial killer was not playing around and she meant business they needed to get this ship up and running five minutes ago.

A good portion of the engineers actually stopped and looked over at her, confused looks all around. Until a big, burly, crag-faces PO 3/c spoke up. "You heard the lady! Get yer asses moving!" The scrambling recommenced as the PO approached Aralinna. "Miss, ah don't know who ya are, but anyone with a Marine escort that talks like that deserves respect." He stuck out his hand. "Petty Officer Third Class Horace Harkness. Don't let the low rank fool ya, I've been around a lot longer than the other POs. You want information of parts acquired, I'm yer man. You wanted a report? It'd be easier ta tell ya what's up an runnin."

Aralinna chuckled as they all suddenly started running. She took the man's hand and shook it, he would find it to be callused which was a sign of hard work. "My name is Aralinna Zodiac. Now tell me what the hell is up and moving because the Captian wanted up five minutes ago. Though I need to know what the hell knocked out the engines as well because the Captian was being the Captian." she chose her words carefully on the last statement she made. She pulled her hair up into a ponytail and cracked her knuckles as she was ready to get started.

He grinned, as her hands were as calloused as his.
"We got navigational deflectors, starboard turrets, and life support. That's it. However, life support is failing, cause the EPs conduits are leakin."
He pointed towards a panel on the floor that'd been removed, a purple tinged steam curling out of it.
"We can't git anyone in there. The only persons that could git in there and not die are them marines and that Pally fellow. But they're both occupied."
He looked back at her.
"Ya wouldn't happen to know anything about EPS relays and reroutin them, wouldja?"

Aralinna sighed as the one thing she didn't want to hear became reality. The life support was failing and that was going to be top priority. She looked around and sighed knowing what she had to do. She tapped the pad and connect to the bridge to get in contact with Luna. "Before you accuse me of fooling around down here. We got a big problem, we have a EPS leak down here and Petty officer Third Class Harkness informed me it not safe for us to go down there with the exception of Mr.Paladin and a couple of marines. We need this fixed now since it is affecting the- Hey dipshiit what the flying ******** are you doing get your a** to work before I beat it .Sorry Captain got to go"

Athena Nightmare No header, due to involving multiple people Luna stared blankly at the now closed commlink, then shook her head slowly. What monster have I created?Mysteries abound in this world that we will seek.

Celdor came into the Engine room to find PO 3/C Harkness punch a rating in the chest and send him back to work.
"PO! I was asked by the Captain to help out with an Engineering problem. She told me to speak with Miss. Zodiac. Where is she?"
Harkness thumbed behind him.
"Over yonder. Be careful, she's a firecracker."
Celdor made his way toward her, making sure not to disturb the other engineers as they worked, stopping a few times to let engineers and parts move past.
"I heard you require my help?"

Aralinna grinned with delight as she saw Celdor walk into the engineering room.She took a deep breath as she pointed to where the purple whisps were coming out. "You need to go down there and find the source of the leak since it is affecting the life support. Once you find it I need you to reroute it to here. It'll be a temporary fix but it'll have to do until I can figure something out. So Mr.Paladin I knew you were so eager to see me again hot stuff." she pointed out on the pad where she meant for things to happen and showed him the location of the reroute.

He gazed at the padd.
"Simple procedure. I can do it. I'm going to need a pot of coffee, though. This will drain my reserves."
He stepped to the edge of the opening, picked up the toolbag Harkness had placed on the floor, then stepped out, dropping underneath the floor, a bubble of golden light appearing around him, protecting him from harm. As he arrived at the leak, he got to work, putting his engineering rating to the test. Though it was a simple procedure, it was at the very limits of his knowledge.

Celdor hoisted himself out of the opening, his hair plastered to his skull, sweat pouring off him.
"So tired..."
One of the engineering stations lit up. They had Life Support again. Life support was now stable, though the patch he'd done would only last 20 hours.

Aralinna was busy working with another PO trying to get the sensors up so they could monitor the conduit power levels. She knew she had bought some time rerouting it but how much was the question. She knew they would have to replace the whole conduit where the leak was found. She looked at Harkness, "Know anyone who can build a replacement conduit in six hours. I know we are going to have to completely replace it and possibly replace some of the coolant ducts since our problem seems to be that we are over heating." she looked around and yelled, "Where is my damn ******** report on the engine it has been over twenty minutes. The Captain will have my hide if I don't get this fixed!"

"No, but I could reroute coolant from the port turrets to the needy areas."
He looked up from his console at her.
"Port turrets are offline anyway. No power. They don't need the coolant."
He entered the commands, shunting the coolant to the engine, the temperature visibly dropping on the readout.
"As long as we don't power up the port turrets, we'll be fine."

Aralinna sighed as she heard Luna's voice yet again, "we had to reroute the coolant to the turrets. We have an issue with overheating down here. Also life support is slightly stable. That is main priority besides getting the engine running. Also do not and I mean do not power up the port turrets unless you want to explode. I am going to tell you once we get moving again we need to go to a port immediately to get parts." she sighed as she disconnected. She looked to the petty officer, "we need to get that engine running now. Also get life support fully stable. " she heard a loud cheer and a PO yelled that the sensors were up. The murderess sighed with sheer relief since this would make their job hell of a lot easier.

"If we can get the engines up and running, we won't have to worry about a permanent fix."
His hand were flying over the console.
"I need your permission to shunt power from the Singularity, directly to the fusion plant. I have the old Chief's codes for it, but if you give me the go ahead, it'll cover my a**."
He looked up at her, grinning evilly.
"Tis ain't exactly legal. s**t like this is why I ain't never made Chief Petty Officer. I always bend the rules."

Aralinna chuckled darkly at his stamens about what they were going to do was not exactly legal. Oh she knew they were going to be good friends since he spoke her language. A dark smile curved upon her lips. "Do it and if the Captain has a problem she can add it to my long list of felonies I have. So do it Harkness." she looked at her padd expecting a call from Luna moments after they do something highly illegal which would save all their asses.
