The moon rose over the water as the waves rippled to the shore. Another full moon had arrived with almost no problems. Three months have passed since the fight, three months had passed in silence. There had been some tough times, but the committee seemed to handle everything. Sure the first week had been tough, no one really understood their purpose, or what they should do now that they were here.
Tsukiko watched as the waves started to come further into their cavern. Discarding her shoes and walking into the chilly water. Taking a deep breath she began calming the waves, like she calmed herself.
With a wave of her hand and a very concentrated look she raised the water. The entrance to the cave was at risk every night. Wolves, and other creatures that lurked in the darkness had noticed their settlement. Tsukiko, unable to sleep, had volunteered for the night watch. The opening was soon covered in a thick layer of ice. It wasn’t permanent, only something to keep away the critters at night.
Walking forward she placed a hand on the ice and looked through to the ocean. Three months and no one had found them, surely they were looking. Some were too naive, they constantly let their guard down, they didn’t know what lurked in the darkness.
“You can’t keep doing this to yourself.”
A sigh escaped her lips as she turned to see a familiar girl waiting for her at the shoreline. The brown hair the once sat upon her own head now sat on it’s owner’s hair. Silky silver hair not reached down Tsukiko’s head to her waist. The spell that allowed her and Miya to switch appearances had broken not long after their arrival.
Tsukiko ignored the girl, giving a parting glance to the icy window. Walking past the younger girl in silence.
“Really you're just going to ignore us.”
“I’m not ignoring anyone Ryo,” Turning to him she let her shoulders drop. A look of defeat in her eyes as she stood before her oldest friends.
“Why don’t you let us help you, Kiko?” Miya tried to take her hand, but Tsukiko reached back as if she had been burned. A flash of red showed in her eyes. Clutching her chest, Tsukiko collapsed to the ground in a coughing fit. Ryo sighed and stepped forward picking her up.
“Why do you do this to yourself. You're not protecting anyone hiding this.” He held her close until the fit subsided.
“She’s coming back, they...they broke something in me. It hasn’t been the same, nothing has been the same. If I sleep, she’ll just come back. I can feel her lurking underneath the surface. She’s waiting for me, she’s calling for me to let her out.”
“We will be ready for her this time. Stop worrying.” Ryo didn’t want to let her go, it was the first time they had been close since they arrived. No one had seen the witch girl who now chose to lurk in the shadows.
“I just want to be alone Ryo. In the moon I need no rest, in the snow I see no dreams. I have things to figure out. “ Pushing herself away from the blonde haired boy she started walking back towards her room.
“You can’t hide forever. What about the friends you made here. What about us!”
“I DON’T NEED ANY OF YOU PATHETIC HUMANS. YOU ARE ALL DEAD TO ME!” Eyes flashing red Tsukiko’s face filled with horror as she ran off into the cave.
“What are we going to do Ryo?”
“I don’t know Miya...I don’t know…”
The moon continued to rise behind them. A new life with new threats around every corner. Children taking care of other children, all trying to protect themselves from the horrors that were out to get them. Though they had faced trying times already, more seemed to be breaking through the surface.
((You wanted it, then you got it.))

"So she's still being stubborn." A quiet voice filled the silence, and Fyte stepped out from behind a rocky wall. She hadn't meant to overhear the trio's conversation, but they weren't the only ones concerned about the water witch.
Over the course of three months, things had changed with Fyte. Though she still smiled and laughed, her supposed happiness didn't quite reach her eyes. She'd barely slept, between helping keep the community together and her nightmares. The images of her brother haunted her dreams, and more often than not she awoke gasping with tears in her eyes. She would never forgive herself for not being able to confront him and try to save him; she'd never forgive herself for her moment of weakness. Fate truly was cruel; just when she'd finally found the lost family she'd dreamed of finding, he was snatched away from her grasp.
Looking to Miya, Fyte couldn't help but frown just a bit. It wasn't anything Miya had done, but it was so unsettling, seeing her best friend's very image as someone else's identity. Inwardly, Fyte scolded herself, as Miya couldn't do anything about it, nor did she have any part in it. "I can take watch. You guys should go sleep." She gave a tired, crooked smile to Ryo and Miya. They'd helped just as much as she had, not to mention they were pretty much the only ones who even saw Tsukiko anymore. Everyone was just strained, physically and emotionally.
[[Lame ending, I know.]]

Sitting on one of the inlaid natural shelves of the cave, a familiar stormy gazed dreamer looked up through one of the gashes in the ceiling, which revealed a clear starry night. During the day he spent much of his time on the council, helping with the daily decisions that both protected and guided the group that had survived that night. But at night, he often sought solitude, wandering the recesses of the caverns they had stumbled upon in their haste to flee.
"Everything is so different now," he murmured as he looked down at a few stragglers who were moving from the showering pools to their sleeping quarters in the back.
"And everyone is having a hard time adjusting." He looked towards the front of the cave, where he could see the silhouettes of Tsukiko, Fyte, Miya and Ryo. He felt pains in his heart, the adjustment was harsher for them especially. Fyte and him were on a sort of haiatus. He wanted to be there for her, but she seemed to pull more into herself, grieving with her loss. It pained him to see her so sad, but he hoped that she would come to him soon, for he secretly longed to hold her and ease that pain however he could.
Then there was the problem of Tsukiko and her crew. He wondered how much of their company was helping versus hindering her. Nemo had long since admitted to himself that he cared about the witch, but it wasn't his place to say who she hung around. Especially when the worst of them all had been his own. Nemo felt responsible for subjecting everyone to Palian's malevolence, but since his disappearance Nemo wondered if maybe it hadnt been as bad as he had believed.
Nemo rarely slept. Although he didn't have access to caffeine or sugar as before, his natural cycle remained nocturnal. Through the months he had worked with the rest of the theater team to better control his powers. They helped him to control what he let loose in his dreams, but also to explore what he created in the first place. Despite the fact that he had not seen nor heard his Dream demon since that night, he took to speaking to him in the hopes that he might once again dwell in his subconscious. However, unlike all of the other creations that appeared from his dreams, Palian was almost purposefully absent, no matter how much Nemo thought of him. This, more than anything, bothered him. For even though Palian was chaos and mischief, Nemo still secretly missed his brother.
"We need to stay strong, but I don't know if I can," he admitted as he lifted his gaze to the heavens again. "I wish you were still here Ian. You'd know what to do."

Ace dodged a couple groups of other student committee members and even a few Security fellows to make his way to a nice litle spot to hang out, he hated the fact that because he was on the original student council almost everyone in the school looked to them for leadership along with a faction who went along with the security counsel. Either way he hated that since we was VP he had a LOT more responsibility. He tried to get out of his position, but they wouldn't let him especially the Student Counsel President. He made his way to the sleeping areas and silently made his way around the camp to only be seen by a few. Finally he made it to the outer shelf where it was more of a middle section and noticed Nemo. He pauses time and reappears next to him as Birdy is slowly passing out on his shoulder. Ace grins as he looks at his friend. "How's it going buddy? I finally found some free time.... ******** hate being the student VP ya know. I wish they could settle their differences and just make peace with Kry's faction who set about three miles away.... That and the infighting between us and the security counsel.... Anyways how are you buddy? You look tired as ever."
Kry was near the edge of his hut balling his fists. He was looking out towards the school and thought back on how after the battle they had kicked him and The Labyrinth out of the community for being too aggressive and uncooperative. That and Kry tried to convince everyone why he should be in charge only getting a small handful of people to side with him and set up their own community. He sighed and cracked his neck while looking around. The few huts, water treatment areas, and food centers were all guarded by the group in this community and each had shifts to watch and take guard around the encampment from animals and aggressors. Kry was worried that the school would perish as it is now knowing that the school is being run by a divided student counsel and security counsel which was now even starting to ignore the Headmaster which Kry respected so much.

Ryo and Miya's attention quickly turned their attention to Fyte. They looked at each other before turning their attention back to the girl. Miya shrugged before walking off.
"I'm going for a walk, I'll catch you guys later." With that she took her exit heading towards the smaller island on the outer skirts of the area. Tsukiko didn't want to speak to her, so she had started hanging out with residents, outcasts, as she liked to call them.
Ryo sighed and looked back at Fyte.
"She's being difficult again. As you could easily tell. I don't understand anymore, maybe you can talk some sense into Tsukiko." He sighed and dropped his shoulders. Some guardian he was, he couldn't even protect his master, his best friend. Tsukiko was there for him when no one knew he existed.
"I'll take tonight's watch. Maybe you could talk some sense into her. She's rather fond of you. Tsukiko put you in charge of killing her if something happened didn't she. She told you of her powers first. Once again she's on a path with a blindfold thinking she's alone."
Tsukiko walked the path heading towards the rooms where the younger children stay. She would stay their during the night and make sure they all slept soundly. Reading to the ones whom couldn't sleep, and sitting with the ones whom had nightmares.
Looking forward Tsukiko froze in her path as she saw Nemo and Ace right in front of her. Her eyes went wide as she realized she had no way of avoiding him tonight. Quickly she turned her head and winced to herself hiding her red eyes.
"Excuse me, sorry to interrupt you two. I'll just be on my way."
~~ As Miya walked towards the small island she looked around for her current person of interest. Before coming to the school she constantly searched for people that peaked her interest. Opening her bag she held up a bag of treats she snagged.
"I brought you something."

Fyte heaved a sigh. "She did, but I'm starting to doubt myself. I couldn't even save my own brother..." she said quietly, looking down at her feet. Even if she could talk some sense into Tsukiko, the wind bender wondered just how much of it she'd really take to heart. "You'd probably know better than any of us, Ryo, how much she takes these kinds of things to heart. I'm not even sure if I could talk her out if this one...but we'll make it through, somehow." Fyte said, hoping to at least cheer Ryo up.
Thinking it over, she took a step in the direction that she had seen Tsukiko run off in. "I guess I'll try talking to her tonight. See how far I can get with her." she said, giving the blond a pat on the back. Walking swiftly, she caught a glimpse of her now silver-haired friend. "Tsuki," Fyte began, before seeing what had made her stop. Her heart fluttered at the sight of the dreamscaper, causing her to bite her lip nervously.
"Hey Ace...hey Nemo." Fyte said quietly, her heart aching at the sight of her crush. Though their relationship went beyond mere hidden crushes on each other, since Fyte had tried to keep herself busy to distract herself from her pain, that left no time to spend with Nemo. Truth be told, she felt guilty, but she didn't quite know how to approach Nemo like this. She didn't want to trouble him with her problems; he already had enough being on the council and with the disappearance of Palian. Giving a smile towards them, she approached, hoping Tsukiko wouldn't run.

Nemo started when he saw Ace make his sudden appearance. Since their arrival, the jumper was always checking in on him from time to time. Nemo wondered if he was amused by these antics, finding it probably to be so since the young man was always doing it. Settling down, he shrugged when asked how he was.
"Surviving. Bout as good as I can be, I guess," he replied after a while. Truth be told, he was trying to keep himself from curling up in a ball and throwing in a towel. However, he promised not long ago, another age it seemed, that he would be a better stronger, more reliable person. There were over a hundred of their group, and it was a team effort to survive each day. Too many relied on his level headedness and cunning wit to solve the never ending list of problems.
"Whiner," he chided playfully. His half smile faded as he looked ahead, eyes glazing with thought. " I keep trying to think of a way to convince Kry and his crew that we are a democracy, that everyone here has a voice. If we worked together, no one would dare harm us again. Not to mention we have to keep fighting the security counsel, who seem to think the only way to save us is to lock us up and take away our freedom. I don't know which is worse, but divided as we are, its amazing we are holding up at all."
He knew things would be hard, but never had he thought their lives would turn so drastically. Yet, even now, he didn't really mind. It was sort of a twisted, funky, and unpredictable adventure. Far better than where he had come from, for sure.
Then his vision focused and he realized that what he was staring at what the approaching form of Tsukiko, working her way along the path. Part of him knew that she would have to come this way, there was no other route to the back parts of the caves, but still his chest tightened as the details of her depression were made clear in the stark moonlight from above and the periodic torches they had lit in niches along the walls.
"Hey, Tsukiko?" he couldn't help but call out to her. In the time they had been in this place, she had made it a point to avoid him at every tern. It was painfully obvious, and he prided himself on picking up on things half as subtle. But even now, he felt this compulsion to try talking to her. Knowing that she would rather be anywhere than near him, a fact that he couldn't blame her for feeling, he couldn't help trying to breech that chasm in some way. After all, she had done the same for him not that long ago.
Then he saw Fyte, who was quickly coming up behind her friend. Their friend. And his heart went to his throat as it always did, choking any words he wanted to say. She was still so beautiful, even though her eyes didn't sparkle with her smiles and her laughter was rarely heard these days. Nemo longed to hear her laugh as she once did, or to hear her sing as the girl's had at the dance.
"H-h-hi," he managed to force beyond the tightness in his chest. Luckily this happened enough in her presence that he knew it wasn't an asthma attack and thusly didn't panic or give away that he was so effected. It wouldn't do to alarm everyone needlessly.
The Labyrinth, a nickname Jareth earned from a teacher who tried to evaluate him after his admission to Hexes in its early days, sat on the outskirts of the small clusters of huts that were their current residence. His perch was on top a sixteen foot high mound of earth that looked like a natural column, except that it was the only one. From here, he could survey his newest masterpiece.
Along with shifting the pathways from the caves to their fort to discourage the other students from forming an attack on them, not that he believed they would but he held air on the side of caution, but he also reformed one of the creeks, rerouting it to flow in beautiful falls along some redirected cliffs. The effect created pools of water for their use and perfect places for guard posts and natural defensive structures. Considering the quarter mile area had started out as a crumbling cliff with no water, he thought it an improvement worth the hours of effort. Shifting earth and stone, water, air and plant life, all of it took a great deal of concentration. He hoped it would please Kry as much as it pleased him.

Tsukiko looked to see Fyte coming up behind her. The two boys in front of her. With out realizing it her shoulders started shaking as her eyes turned red. The world suddenly became small as she noticed every little movement around her. Gripping her hands together as she tried not to keep calm. Her eyes started watering, and she knew the tears would fall in a moment if she didn't get a grip on this moment. Taking a deep breath before the internal damn collapsed on it'self
'Please stop!' She was back in that dark room again. Her father stood before her as men began to strap her down to a chair. Her heart was racing as she tried her best to pull free. Having spent so long using magic she couldn't get away normally. Not when there were so many of them and one of her.
'Don't worry it's almost done sweetie.'
"GET AWAY FROM ME." With out realizing it Tsukiko broke off into a run. The screams echoed into her mind as she ran. All she could see around her was that god awful room, and all the things they had done to her. She had to get away, as far away from that as possible.

Ace looked over at Tsukiko, he didn't know much about her other than what Nemo would tell him or what he has observed by actually talking to her. To be nice for Nemo's sake he wouldn't say his true feelings about how he believed as nice as she was putting in helping the community, she was over emotional and forced herself too much. He didn't think she was going to last long before she either snapped or messed up big due to exerting herself too much. "Water manipulation is kinda common... We can get some of the others to step in and relieve some stress from her... I don't know if you should chase her or not my friend." He says to Nemo as Fyte catches up. "Hey Fyte... You look like s**t. Not appearance wise, but mentally. I may not have the power to read minds, but you should probably get some sleep to remove those bags under your eyes... You and Nemo really do match don't you? Then again I am putting up an act too haha." He says nudging Nemo and showing the exhaustion that is actually on his body. He almost fell on the ground, but caught himself and his eyes looked a bit dark. Birdy was asleep now on his shoulder and ruffled its own feathers while it slept against Ace's face.
Kry heard the ground in the forest start to change slightly and he could feel a large amount of vibrations coming from over there until he heard a voice next to him. He looked over to see Miya holding a bag of treats and Kry smiles as he holds out his hand to accept them. "Don't mind if I do, what are you doing up still? Wont your friends over in the school get mad that you come over here to talk and help all of us over here?" He asked as he offered her a seat. "The Labyrinth just completed something in the forest if you can hear it, not sure what it is, but he is really good with those kinds of things and I am sure it will be an amazing site. He better come to tell me what he finished making before going to bed." He laughed and took a seat himself before looking at the girl "Now... What do you really want?" He says giving a stern look of distrust.
The student Counsel President at this point was hated by almost all if not all of the Disciplinary Committee as he is the one in charge of the only group in the school that is opposing their rule. Even if it wasn't Alessa's idea it caused such a huge divide and the only thing stopping them from fighting each other is the fear of Kry coming in after and the fact that the Student Counsel President was someone whose powers are unknown and are said to be stronger than even Kry's. Even if this was just a rumor and their is no proof, most believe it and the Desciplinary Committee is not known to attack without reason and knowing everything they can about an enemy. Knowing this the Student Counsel President went to go visit Alessa for another "Talk" without an prior warning. He walked into her office hoping she would still be there and looked behind him to see the security members oblivious of the fact that he just walked right past them and into her office. "Hello~" He says to her as he locks the door. A few seconds later a jiggle is heard on the knob and someone speaks "???:Ma'am who is in there and is everything ok?"

Using his large hands for balance, Jareth slid down the crumbling column, the earth settling evenly as if his perch never existed. His main of red hair swayed in the breeze, being the only thing that moved while he concentrated, as he scrutinized his work from ground level. To anyone that happened to pass by, he looked to be in meditation, although they could not see his face, so it was hard to say for sure.
After a few minutes the muscles in his shoulders relaxed and he took a deep cleansing breath. The forest had settled for now, and the water was finally running clear, a detail he took silent pride in. Who would want to shower in muddy water, he reasoned to himself. It was a stroke of brilliance to add some mosses to stop the sediment atop the cliffs from running down into the pools, and to add flat stones to the edges of them so that entering and exiting the water was safer. He made a mental note to find some local fish to put in the pools to keep them free of algae. Not that he couldn't do it himself, but why put for the effort if nature would provide?
Smacking his hands and body, he rid himself of the residual earth before making his way to wherever Kry may be. Being their leader, Jareth knew he would not wander too far from the group so the locations he could be were limited. When he spotted Kry talking to Miya, whom he wasn't convinced they should trust, he silently stopped a few paces away. He wasn't hiding, although despite his tall stature he was easily overlooked, but he was a patient man and would await his turn. Jareth knew better than to interrupt one of Kry's meetings.
So he took a moment to admire the ocean. The gentle waves that lapped at the shore below, the drifting clouds above and the earthly structures that were shaped by the raging waters along its edge. It really was a fascinating battle, earth falling into water, and it pushing back in turn. Kry made a mental note to see just how deep the earth of this island went. A side project for another day, after he had a bit of rest.
Nemo watched Tsukiko run off, at a loss of what to do. The terror in her eyes, the sheer panic, it reminded him that she had not only been kidnapped. Those monsters had done something to their Tsukiko. She never talked about it, which was probably for the best, because there really was no good in making her relive it. But whatever tortures they had devised, it had broken something within her and no one knew just how to fix it. Everyone felt it to some degree. Every single student who had come to her rescue felt some kind of failure, because even though they won, they didn't get her back, not really. It made a lot of the older students doubt themselves, in more ways than just control of power.
"I agree she shouldn't be pushing herself so hard," he sighed, falling back onto his butt in defeat. "She thinks she has to make up for her rescue, but she's in the same boat as the rest of us." He heard Ace's halfhearted attempt to lighten the mood, but it was lost on the dreamscaper. Nemo just looked sourly at him, snagging his shirt when he started to lose his footing on the shelf.
" I think many of us have been working too hard," he said pointedly. Laid back as he was, Nemo knew Ace was all show most of the time. But sometimes, just sometimes, he would make a comment or do something intriguing that Nemo knew meant more. He didn't know what was up the teleporter's sleeve, but considering his position as VP, Nemo figured it was probably for his and everyone's safety. Still, it made for an interesting riddle.
"Alright, we may as well get back to the main cavern and get some rest while we can," he decided, pulling himself and Ace off the shelf.

"There's no hiding things from you,is there?" Fyte replied to Ace, smiling her crooked smile. To anyone who really knew her, they'd know that this smile meant she was trying to hide her discomfort at whatever had bothered her. Still, she didn't exactly like Ace calling her out on things in front of Nemo; she didn't want him to worry any more than he needed to. This small distraction was all it took for her to let Tsukiko run away from them.
"Tsuki, wait!!" Her cry fell on deaf ears as the water witch sprinted away from them. Not wanting to wait to talk to her (which could probably end up being days later) she chased after the retreating figure. Passing Nemo, she whispered briefly into his ear before disappearing.
"I'm sorry."
Needless to say, Alessa was VERY angry to see him there. "Just what do you think you're doing here?!" She hissed at him, but called out to the student beyond the door.
"Everything is fine, don't worry about it." She had already heard the door lock, so there was no point in calling for help. Heaving a sigh, she glared at the president. "I thought I told you to not come without an appointment." Alessa asked irritably, drumming her fingers on her desk. Since the school had moved, Alessa had been utterly swamped with duties as chair of the disciplinary committee. Throughout the three months, both the president and Kry had been pains in her a**, driving her utterly mad with all the problems they brought. So much that she felt Ace was avoiding her just a bit, as to avoid being the brunt of her frustration. Not that she could really blame him; Alessa knew she was pretty frightening when angered. Still, she couldn't help but miss his presence. Still glaring at the boy in front of her, she awaited his answer.

Ace yawned and looked at Nemo with a grin "Well those two are gone and you made the offer to sleep. Wanna cuddle? He asks jokingly to his friend as they start to walk back. "I have decided to ignore my duties tomorrow as I believe we can live without a VP for one day right? Make it harder now that the DC is an entirely separate governing body." He says looking over at the tents that were set up and then the school itself. "I still think the students should be sleeping inside the school, but the DC and the rest of the SC decided against it."
The President looked at her with a frown and sighed as he took a seat. "Well, I would if I knew it would actually get us somewhere on our talks and endless debates instead of my members and your little board of members just arguing over what is right, who should be in charge, and why the other side shouldn't have power. like Russia and America during the Cold War. I mean really if things just returned back to the way it was before then we wouldn't have this many problems and I am not saying a militaristic government is worse than the style we over in the counsel are running, nor am I here to argue you into giving up, but lets take a few cool down days. Ace is starting his tomorrow if I recall and he is not taking no for an answer so I say we all follow his lead and get some sleep and rest up." The President said to Alessa rubbing his eyes before looking her in the eyes. "I know he may have forgotten, but none of us or the DC members that were told have forgotten the fact that you two were dating even if only for a day. So go spend time with him, you look extremely stressed and we both know Ace is good with fixing problems somehow. It's just a suggestion and he does remember you, even if it is only being the DC leader."

Ϻ i ӌ a ✮Where it's all a blur, you are the hard line.✮ Stealing one of the treats from the bag before plopping down next to Kry. "You don't have many friends do you." She said munching on the candy before laying back on the ground. Propping herself up on her elbows. "Do you always distrust everyone you meet. I mean I've been visiting you for almost two months now off and on. You could at least call me by my name. You know say hello, be polite. I did bring treats after all. My treats none the less, though I would believe my company was a treat in itself." She laughed at her self before sitting back up. "Silly Kry, you should know why I keep coming here. Neither of us are stupid after all." She crossed her legs and stole another snack, throwing it in the air and catching it in her mouth. "With out our powers everyone on this island is nothing more than a useless child. There are a select few, like myself, who have some knowledge of other forms of fighting. Still in a war, we'd be better off dead."
"I'm here to propose something to you. After all you seem to know what you are doing. I have no alliance in the student's affair. To be honest I've left four or five times now. Not to mention coming here which is a direct insult to those fools. Makes things more exciting you know." She grinned before pulling her stuffed bunny from her bag. "My powers require my voice, I can talk things to life. To give them any real life or action I must sing to them. You can void and null both of these powers. I would like to train with some of your members. I have no doubts that the people that kidnapped my sister analyzed us during the fight. Right now they are looking for us, with better weapons. They easily found a way to harness her powers and turned them against her. Your powers would do the exact same to mine. I want to see if I can find a loop hole in this. Basically when they attack us again, I want to be ready."

When Tsukiko finally snapped out of it she found herself in her dark corner of the cave. Taking several deep breaths she dropped to the ground. Gripping her fists she cried out in pain. She felt so cold and so lost.
"What am I suppose to do? I put everyone here in danger." She couldn't stop shaking as she sat on the ground. Her silver hair had grown faster than normal hair in the past months. It surrounded her almost like an aura.
"I can't dream, I'll just dream of him...and we all know I can't bring him back." Wrapping her arms around herself she cried silently to herself. "He wouldn't forgive me in this state. I wish they'd had burned me at the stakes like my ancestors.....Every night I relive it, every dark corner they are waiting for me. A constant repeat of everything they did to me. You are all so lucky....I hate you all for it."
She finally turned to look at Fyte. Her eyes held no hate, they held nothing. Once warm and brown, but now lifeless and dull. Gray eyes that no longer held the kindness they use to. "My own father let them do this to me. Don't you understand I'm a ticking bomb. Nothing any of you can say will make it go away. Nothing you can do will make it better."
Turing away again she didn't want Fyte to see this. She didn't want her to hear what was truly going on. "I know you all did the best you could. I know you all tried, but why didn't you just leave me to die! I hate putting on the brave face, I hate telling the children I'm okay. I can't hide it, but I can't show it either." She pulled herself up, she was still shaking, but she was to pressed for time to indulge in this.
"I need to be alone Fyte. None of you can save me, none of you could save me. We lost Palian because of me, another loss because of me." She took as step back. "Why don't you all go on with your lives. I don't need a bunch of children trying to make me feel better."
With that she ran off again. She didn't want to see Fyte's reaction because she only knew it would hurt even more. She couldn't lose anyone else because of her. No one else would die because she was to weak to protect them.
Bursting through the doors of the small house like building. She nodded to the girl whom watched the children as she placed the barrier up each night.
"Lucy had another nightmare, she keeps asking for you."
"Is she still calling me her mother."
"She won't stop you know that."
Tsukiko sighed and nodded to the girl. The only person in the school whom didn't have powers. She was the granddaughter of the headmaster. She was a smart girl, and Tsukiko highly respected her.
"I'll go get her to sleep. Good night Evieline."
"Good night Tsukiko."

After she'd unloaded all of her ugly inner thoughts and ran off, Fyte just stared blankly ahead at where the girl used to be. She had wanted so badly to slap Tsukiko. Fyte was never one for unneeded physical confrontations, but Tsukiko had pushed her limits tonight. "Would you listen to yourself…" Fyte muttered darkly, eyes on the ground angrily. Angry at Tsukiko, angry at herself for being unable to say anything in response. Without warning, she spun around and slammed her fist against the cavern wall. The rock scraped against her flesh angrily, but that didn't stop Fyte from punching it several more times.
"Would you just listen to yourself?! 'Go on with our lives'… Don't you give me that crap!" Fyte nearly shouted, but kept her voice quiet due to the fact that everything echoed in the caves.
"How could we have left you to die?!"
Punch.
"After everything we've been through,"
Punch.
"You just decide to throw it back in our faces?!"
Punch.
"What the ******** think you can lecture me about losing people? About how I need to tell people I'm ok when I'm not?!" Slamming her fist into the wall one last time, Fyte panted out her anger, before finally letting the emotions go. Her shoulders sagged in defeat.
"Is that all you think of us as? …Just mere children…playing games? Do we really mean nothing to you?" she sobbed, knees giving out from under her. Collapsing to the cavern floor, she let her hair hang in front of her face, obscuring it from view. Lifting her hands to her face, she cried into them, ignoring that her knuckles were shredded and bleeding profusely. All she felt was the emptiness eating away at her own heart. Alessa sighed, rubbing her temples as she did so. As much as she hated to spill her feelings out to this guy, he was the only option she had right now, and the only one who fully understood what was happening.
"It's not that I don't want him to be around me...it just hurts." She sighed, resting her elbows on her desk. She let herself slump in her chair, as if there was something too heavy on her back and shoulders. "It's painful to have to act like things between us never happened, to have to go back to just being aquaintances. And I don't know what to do about my feelings..." Alessa sighed, running her hand through her hair. In that moment, one could see just how tired she truly was, and just how miserable she felt.
"He doesn't deserve me to come crashing into his calm life, not at this point in time." Alessa said softly, not looking up at the president. "Besides, he seems to be fine without me." Heaving another long sigh, she sat back up in a proper posture. "I'll agree to the few days of break though. Maybe then everyone could cool their heads a bit." Idly picking up a few papers, she placed them in a stack on her desk. "Is that everything you wanted to talk about, sir?"
