I've only seen one movie where gayness is a central theme, the 50s remake of Maedchen in Uniform. Given the time it was made, it's actually surprisingly supportive of its lesbian themes. I'd like to see the original someday, but apparently it has a much sadder ending. ):

I've also been meaning to see A Room in Rome and Blue is the Warmest Color, but I just haven't found the time.

Forever and always it will be "The Lword" show (conveniently available on Netflix now!) It's smart, dramatic, funny, sexy.....so good!! Don't watch it at work or around parents, lots of boobs shown lol

i saw one called but i'm a cheerleader...it was ok...i like the look of that one^blue is the warmest color...don't have time to watch right now...though...

I love Blue is the warmest colour, it's so nicely done and really beautiful. As for shows, I loved The L Word, Orange is the New Black and also Wentworth had some pretty cool gay female characters and plots as well as Series 3/4 (??) of Skins UK with Emily and Naomi and how they became a couple and realised their sexuality heart
