A recent transfer, Miss Ortega is new to the teaching game. Beneath her soft and quiet demeanor lies a steadfast, determined woman who is eager to help all young psychics. As she is still learning how things work at Murmuring Pines and Majesco, Carmen likes to think of herself as being on a similar level to the campers and students; it makes teaching seem far more comfortable. Don't be late, don't speak if he is speaking, and above all do not disrupt the other students from learning just because you're bored. Instructor Faust is a very serious man who runs on roughly four hours of sleep a day and a constant supply of black coffee. He is blunt and will not hesitate to cut you down if you have a poor attitude or are misbehaving. To be sure, his number of given detentions puts every other instructor to shame, and the work is grueling. Miss Nightshade plays up the mysterious persona quite well during class, living up to her appearance as a veritable queen of the night. Beneath the black cloth and dark atmosphere, you will find she's actually a very sweet lady who is unashamed of her morbid interests. Her classes never start before noon and are typically held in the evenings, taking on a more casual group approach than others. The youngest instructor on staff, Mona takes it upon herself to act as the bridge between generations separating the teenagers from the adults. A friendly and casual woman, she won't hesitate to offer high fives in the hallway or come up with ridiculous nicknames for literally everyone. Stuck in the 80s hair band mindset, it's difficult for Mona to get with the times in terms of technology. That is to say, if it came out after 1995, she has no idea how to use it. Go to her if you just need someone to chill and rock out with, she's always got time for music and relaxation.

Steadfast and resolute, the facility's resident dean and scoutmaster is a well respected woman with a lot of accomplishments under her belt. Before taking up the position she was a very well known Psychonaut, though in her current position she is more of a dispatcher. Miss Spektor is a calm presence and a smooth talker among the other staff, keeping most in line with plain requests. If any disciplinary action is necessary beyond simple detentions, you'll be reporting right to the head honcho.

With a full infirmary at the academy, a pharmacy on campus, and an RV parked next to the main lodge as a first-aid station, it's easy to see that the facility is well equipped medically. So, then, why does the nurse look and sound like she's smoked three packs a day since she was twelve? Well, she probably has -- she smokes like a chimney. You can find Nurse Lacey at all of these locations or running the facility stores in the main lodge and main office. Don't worry, she's careful about second hand smoke.

If you have some trouble or find yourself lost at the facility, Hugh is the man of the hour. Soft spoken and passive, communicating with him is easy and he never tries to force his help; just know he's there if you need someone to listen. While being the groundskeeper is his official position, he also acts as the resident cook, ranger, Miss Merchant's assistant, and whatever other odd jobs need filling. He does not have a physical office, instead offering folks a small, cozy part of his mind to meet in for optimum privacy.

While technically not a member of the Psychonauts, Doolittle is a valued member of the faculty. After all, who would be better at teaching humans to speak to animals than a semi-sapient telepathic dog? What's more, if your pet seems to be developing psychic abilities, you can rest assured knowing they'll be in good paws with this dog's instruction on pet power fundamentals.

In the office, though, she’s ever the eager listener and considerate of everyone’s individual needs. Her trusty sidekick, a St. Bernard named Croquette, is seen always at her side!

A not quite well kept secret, the Murmuring Pines HQ is run entirely by computer, the brain of which belongs to SIN-TAC, a conscious Artificial Intelligence. While he is present in every computerized source, student interaction with the AI is often rare and indirect while campers will likely never encounter him. Staff and all Psychonauts operatives work with him extensively, as he's always on the lookout for evidence of psychic terrorism or missions to assign.

Reese is a teacher's assistant who, upon first glance, appears to be afraid of the very students she's charged with working for. Despite this initially nervous demeanor, Reese is very much the hard-working and model student past the surface, and will sacrifice just about anything if it will help out her fellow Majesco students. So, go ahead: ask her to help you with those puzzling classes, assignments, and projects-- she's there to serve you, so long as you're honest with both your work and your emotions. Charlotte is a friendly girl who is equally as excited about helping others as she is about learning! Her relaxed teaching style and positive feedback make for a comfortable environment, but her willingness to offer up productive criticism helps get the work done right! So feel free to approach her any time, whether for a casual study session or if you need help with an assignment that you cant wrap your head around! Agent Pinkerton is a very calm man. As a Psychonaut who was introduced officially to the psychics business rather late into his life, he has a lot to live up to in comparison to the young progeny present at both Murmuring Pines and Majesco Academy. In that light, the way he composes himself is entirely deliberate, from his mannerisms, style of dress, and word choice. One thing he can't seem to hide, however, is his legion of thirty crows and the passion he has for his current project, which he believes may reinvent society. ➧ ALICE MOON x

A rookie agent fresh from HQ, Alice Moon is the lowest ranking operative on site. Nearly being transferred to Whispering Rock, she was instead pushed to Murmuring Pines due to its low number of resident agents. Most often she can be found in the academy library when not following her superiors around, carrying out orders, fetching coffee, organizing files, doing paperwork, research, or generally being a "yes man". ➧ LUCIEN TALBOT

A former agent of INTERPOL, Lucien has a fairly eclectic background of investigations, having skills in journalism and forensic science. He became an operative of the Psychonauts nearly ten years ago and moved from the United Kingdom to the United States in half that time. Lucien has a keen interest and well developed knowledge about psitanium and he is studying its affects on non-psychics very closely. The man is one of few words and generally keeps to himself, away from students, though can sometimes be found wandering the academy or camp grounds after dark gathering arrowheads.

Daughter of the previous Psychonauts president, Truman Zanotto, Lili has been trained and conditioned for this position for most of her life. She stays busy heading the main HQ on the East Coast of the US, issuing orders and communique to the Whispering Rock and Murmuring Pines HQs. While the likelihood of meeting with Ms. Zanotto in person is extremely low, her influence among the Psychonauts is a constant presence. x xPsychic NPCs who do not fit into other categories and may occasionally hold assemblies, seminars, or events at the camp or academy. ➧ GERALD JULY

Mister July retired as a Psychonaut at age 40, then pursued a salad of careers afterward. His focus on studying kineses as an agent has supplemented his jobs in engineering, land surveying, and even travel and rock climbing. As a result of his experiences, Gerald is more than eager to teach Majesco students about the practicality of psychic powers in everyday life, applied kineses, and... well, the importance of health and extreme sports.

The previous Basic and Advanced Braining instructor at Murmuring Pines and Majesco Academy, Asher was recently reassigned back to Psychonauts HQ for missions. Despite his laid-back attitude and love for cheesy old horror movies, he doesn't fool around when it comes to work and he expects the same out of his partners. He considers himself good friends with all of the staff and may visit on site occasionally during down time between assignments. ➧ SAERA LOGAN

Saera Logan grew up on the streets after bouncing between foster homes and running away, where she was using her developing psychic abilities to cheat tourists out of their cash and food. It was lucky for her that the officer that picked her up was also a psychic, who took it upon himself to get the girl on track with her training and education - and make a turn around, she did. While she never made it to full Psychonaut status, Saera turned her attention towards social work, trying to find a way to marry that with her psychic abilities. As such, she is very passionate about helping disenfranchised young psychics find their footing in the workplace, and was drawn to Hidden Ridge Institute immediately. She has a plethora of resources and pamphlets at the ready, as well as a number of pre-arranged inspirational speeches that may or may not sound incredibly Hollywood.
