It had went on longer than Mikano had planned, but eventually the first titan that he had created would find their way to the cave. Smiling, Mikano slowly stepped out from behind a rock that was covering him, staring down at the young male that rested in the fading titan's neck. A light sigh, and a lazy brushing of his hair from his face, as he made his way over to the youth. "So, are you the only one...?" Mikano questioned, somewhat disappointed that this person was the only one there at the moment. If others arrived, that would be great for him, but if this was the only titan that would be arriving, then Mikano would have to try and get more later on down the road. Reaching down and attempting to yank the young male free, he moved the child to lay down and rest on the cold, stone floor. Soon, steam would fill and emit from the maw of the cave that the two had resided in, but Mikano didn't mind in the slightest; he was used to seeing these things.

"Come now, boy, wake up. There is much work to be done, and I do not tolerate sleeping on the job." his words were strict, as he stared down at the youth, his glasses reflecting ever-so-slightly from the light that was coming into the cave from the moon.

A light chuckle came from his lips as he heard him ask that question; who was he? Mikano was a lot of things, but at this current point in time he would be his guardian angel. "My name is Mikano, and I shall be your teacher... What you have been gifted was a blessing, and it shall help in more ways than you can imagine..." Mikano chuckled, looking at the youth before sitting down beside him. He adjusted his glasses as he studied the boy over, noting the burns. "At least, it will help us. I can't imagine that if you should return to the others that they would allow you to walk in and not be recognized... So I suppose you really don't have much choice anymore." the man commented, another chuckle escaping his lips.

He raised an eyebrow, staring at the boy, as he heard him saying his comrades would understand. "Are you sure you didn't? What about their trust, did you hurt that?" he questioned, not expecting an answer as he slowly took off his glasses and carefully wiped each lens off on his shirt. "Can you kill the very thing that you are? What if I told you that those titans mean nothing? That those titans are simply meaningless in the grand scheme of life. Would you believe me, after seeing how many they have slaughtered?" Mikano questioned, tilting his head and putting his glasses back on.

"Come now, let us change topics. What is my pupil's name?" he asked, a smile on his lips as he stared the youth in the eyes. Even though a smile was on Mikano's lips, his eyes were void of any happiness, and seemed to run chills through people's bodies. The glasses he wore only amplified this, making them appear slightly larger than normal.

A small sigh escaped his lips, shaking his head. "Really, you aren't? So how did you get here then?" Mikano questioned, knowing what the boy's answer would be. "To people like them, you are a Titan. You're a monster that will be tested on, tortured, and extracted of all information. At least with me you'll be safe, and you'll learn how to control your Titan prowess... Maybe some day, you can return and teach them?" Mikano smiled, tilting his head to the side. "If you don't want to be my pupil though, then I'll understand, and I wish you the best returning to the wall without any means of learning to control the powers you have." he left it on the table, standing up off of the floor and stretching. The boy had no idea how to control his powers, and he was out of options unless he followed under Mikano's teachings.

Mikano shook his head as he called himself a Titan. "You're not a Titan. You're far superior than those other ones... You have full control, or you should have it with practice... You can use your intelligence and knowledge in fighting to be much more than one of them. You're a Titan Shifter." Mikano calmly explained, a smile on his lips. Choosing to ignore his question for the time being, he adjusted his glasses on his face. "So, what is your name?" he asked again, hoping this time he'd be more successful.

He thought for a moment, before speaking, nodding his head slightly. "I can allow such a thing, but they must be in letters. We cannot risk you exposing your location to anyone that may wish to put you in harm's way. After all, the last thing we need is for others to test on you and put you in danger." the smile appeared back on Mikano's lips, a clear sign he was pleased with the young boy's choice to become his pupil. "I can deliver the letters to him, as nobody knows that I am the same as you." he left it at that, knowing that the boy would understand what he meant by his words. Mikano was indeed a Titan Shifter, and far more experienced than anyone else like him.
