Hello everyone, just wanted to share a cross stitch project I have recently completed. I started it years ago and it got put away and forgotten about until I moved and it was rediscovered. I am glad I have finished it, it had been long overdue!

It is a Dimensions cross stitch kit called "We can all twinkle" I think it would look nice in a nursery, what do you think? smile

That is so cute! I think it would be perfect for a nursery.

Well, the only kits I have at the moment are the ones that have the picture already printed on the canvas, then you add the extra details. I just love those, but I need to buy some that you start from scratch.

You can start stitching one of your printed kits while you look for another one wink Which kits do you have?

I have one with an eagle soaring over mountains and the other one I can't find. But I know I have 2 kits. *scratches head* I've got to find it today. cat_exclaim

I've not done much of anything kid-oriented yet; just a baby quilt and I pretty much hated every minute of working on it, thus destroying the tradition my nana started.
I do have some nursery rhyme patterns though.
Maybe the next time someone has a baby in my family, I'll do one of those instead.

This was the first child's stitch I did, except for a few small birthday and new baby cards. It helped that I really liked this chart. Which nursery rhyme patterns do you have? I would prefer the nursery rhymes to the quilt 3nodding

Hey Diddle Diddle, Jack Be Nimble, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Old King Cole, and Humpty Dumpty. Unfortunately, I'm missing a page of Jack and Jill.
I've got some other baby-related stuff, too; mostly Winnie the Pooh designs I inherited from my grandmother. (It's also kind of a tradition in our family that a baby's first stuffed animal is Pooh.)
