● It seems, after a long time of wondering if they could even produce children, a marionette and feline couple produced a litter of four bowls. Not the worry that perhaps the marionette woman could not actually create children is over, a new one falls upon the couple: Who will own two of their children? Will it be you? Starts: January 21st, 1:00 pm EST Ends: January 26th, 10:00 pm EST Rules
● The bowls can go to anyone, no matter if you're a newbie or not. Have 10380 foxes? I don't care. We just want this baby to go to a good home. ● We prefer you stick around and don't ditch us. If you do, rest assured we won't consider you next time for any bowls or RP. We trust that you'll take good care of this bowl and stay in TLN. ● Be fair. If I catch you complaining about someone who has entered, or acting inappropriate about the contest I will remove you from it. ● Entries can be edited until the end date, and if you do so please add in red that you've edited. Do not Skype, PM, or quote about an edit, just label in red on your entry that you've done so. ● Please fill out the form completely or I will remove you from judging at the end. You may add parts to the form, but you may absolutely not remove anything from the form skeleton. ● The gen for the bowl's are 2nd gen. ● No proxies or giving the bowl away. You won it fair and square.

Kora
● Kora is one of the two mothers, and is the feline part of the couple. She has always been supportive to her mate, Soeri, and will always be. While having children from a previous relationship, Kora has mated and settled down with Soeri. She's the one who is more active, and confident. She's the backbone of the couple, and often ends up having to comfort Soeri. She's the more reasonable one, as well. Kora speaks her mind mostly, and often ends up speaking for both her and Soeri when need be. Soeri
● Guarded, frightened, and meek, Soeri has every reason to be. Having once been a marionette doll for a child, she witnessed her owner murdered and the corpse dragged outside by his father. In an attempt to rescue him, she became a real noodle, however the father vanished. So, she stayed in the house. Hiding from any creak the house made, and occasional demented laugh she'd hear, it was a wonder she didn't flee from Kora when they first met! However, the woman fell in love, despite fearing that she'd be unable to produce kids. Soeri stutters, her throat not properly made for adequate speech, and she moves with an odd twitch and jerk to her limbs due to not being fully made of flesh. Her voice is as soft as her personality, and she's gentle. She tends to hide from the outside world, and is terrified of losing those she loves again. She's a coward, yes, but she's also a kind woman who just wants to love her family. Side note: Her voice is raspy, scratchy, and extremely rough. Kiyoshi
● Eldest son, this bowl gives off a relaxed vibe. Not much else is known, but his parents are watching him eagerly! Kataita
● Kata is soft-spoken, gentle, and kind. He does have a strong side to him, being physically powerful and able to think for himself. Kata does not like staying in the house full of odd whispers and strange sounds, and wants to find where he truly belongs. He is a tad shy, though, and tends to hide his features (and strange eyes that resemble Soeri's) as much as possible, which may mean eye contact is not a thing he'll do willingly. While his voice does not stutter like Soeri's, it's raspy and strained like hers. He's fascinated with puppetry. Maika
● Sweet, Maika is definitely Kora's daughter. Adopted as Soeri's step-daughter, Maika comes in and out of the house. She'll for sure be there in the bowls lives.

Above is the third boy and fourth girl of the litter. Needing homes, you may be lucky and be able to take one home! However, they do come with some rules, and a prompt or two to answer! Also, you can enter for both bowls, but you must have separate entries in separate posts if you do so. Naming Themes
● We'd like either a japanese name, or something related to marionettes/puppetry/cats. A combination is fine. Also, keep in mind these kids are half feline, half marionette's. Prompts
● One: Kora has gone out, and you're alone with Soeri. At first, it seems fine, but then you catch your strange mother speaking to thin air! Or is it? Can you see the little ghost boy she plays with, or do you think she's just crazy and run? What do you do? Do you tell the others? ● Two: Being part marionette and part feline has its issues, and what are they? How do you handle being different? Do you resent it, or embrace who you are? ● Three: You and the others get lost in the rather large house, and it's making rather horrible noises! Explain what happens during your time, and if anything spooky jumps out! How do you get back to the safe part of the house? Do the parents rescue you? ● Four: Have an idea not here? Go for it! This is a free-for-all prompt~ I'm Pulling The Strings Here! Username: username here Name of Bowl: bowl name here - meaning of name here Boy or Girl?: gender here

I'm Pulling The Strings Here! Username: Katsura Zanshin Name of Bowl: Bunraku - Puppet theater Boy or Girl?: Boy
Personality: Raku is quite exploratory, always sticking his inquisitive nose into nooks and crannies. He want's to follow in Kora's footsteps and be the one that helps his more shy family members.
Prompt: 1 Finished the prompt
Raku followed his mother through the house, wondering what they were going to do today. The boy ran in front of his mother, dawdled behind her and generally darted around looking all over the place. He had a strange need to know what was in every corner of a place. Peeking behind a dresser, the boy spotted something shiny; reaching in, he pulled out a snowglobe. Raku grinned and turned to find how far his mother had gotten away from him. Not too far, as it turned out, she seemed to have stopped and was having a conversation...with the air above her head.
Confused, Bunraku headed over to his mother, wondering what she was up to when he heard the voice of a small boy. Raku first thought it was his brother, but he couldn't see him anywhere. The voice came again above his head and Raku looked up into thin air. Thin air that his mother was answering. Although he wasn't terrified, Raku was nervous and waited until the conversation was finished before he gently poked his mother.
“Mama? Who was that you were talking to? And why did he sound so sad?” He asked his mother, looking up at her. Soeri looked down at him in surprise, asking if he'd seen who she'd been talking to. He shook his head 'no' and replied that he'd only heard the end of the short conversation. Soeri nodded and explained in her raspy voice that the boy had lost a favored stuffed animal and asked Raku to keep an eye out for it. “Okay Mama. I will.” Of course he would, he'd be able to explore more of the house that way.
Future Plots: I'd like his ability to hear ghosts broaden as he gets older and more in tune with his abilities until he, too, can see them. Maybe some training with Soeri?

I'm Pulling The Strings Here! Username: Reoakee Name of Bowl: Mokusei no neko –Wooden cat Boy or Girl?: girl Personality: easily amused. Moku as she’s often called finds humor in even the darkest corners. Not all of this humor is necessarily proper to the situation, but she means well enough.
Prompt: One: Kora has gone out, and you're alone with Soeri. At first, it seems fine, but then you catch your strange mother speaking to thin air! Or is it? Can you see the little ghost boy she plays with, or do you think she's just crazy and run? What do you do? Do you tell the others?
The rasping of Soeri’s voice is was first brought Moku padding into the room. Tilting her head she watched as her mother spoke to nothing in the room. Looking around confused Moku couldn’t understand why her mother was speaking when there was no one else in the room to play with. Sniffing Moku couldn’t smell anything either. Closing her eyes she listened as hard as she could then scrunching up her face she listened for forever! Nothing, just her mommy’s scratchy voice filled the air and the old creaks from the house, but those were ignorable. Lying down on her belly she watched her Soeri move around still talking and smiled. Her moma looked so silly talking to her imaginary friend like that.
Moku would definitely tell momma Kora later, or maybe she should make an imaginary friend of her own. Maybe all adults had them, and just didn’t say anything in front of others? Moku tried to think what kind of imaginary friend she would like to have and giggled aloud thinking she should have one that she could get into mischief with. “Momma Soeri, I wanna play too!” Getting up she bounded into the room to play with her mother and her imaginary friend!
Future Plots: I don’t know off hand, but I would like to RP her a bit with family.

I'm Pulling The Strings Here! Username: Reoakee Name of Bowl: Zu Sōsa- figure manipulation *like using a mannequin Boy or Girl?: Male
Personality: Quite. Zu is a nice boy who thinks that actions speak a lot better than words and while he can talk figures that with so many girls in the family sometimes a few things left unsaid is for the best. He can be headstrong at times and sometimes rude, but he believes in standing up for what’s right even if it means sitting and starring down a bully.
Prompt: Two: Being part marionette and part feline has its issues, and what are they? How do you handle being different? Do you resent it, or embrace who you are?
Zu gently rolled his body out of his bed that morning and stretched out. It was tough being part marionette because he found he got stiff easily even though he was young and being part cat he felt inclined to sleep a lot which meant waking up stiff often. So he started his morning routine by stretching carefully and loosing himself up for the day. Then he decided he would pad down and see his mothers and say hello. His voice was raspy like his mother’s but that never bothered him. In a way it was as soothing as hearing his other mother’s purr, a feat he couldn’t quite replicate well and after feeling embarrassed about sounding more sandpaper on wood than a feline purr was not one he did often in front of others. Another challenge he found was hunting. He loved to hunt down prey, but when it came to moving quietly he found himself at a slight disadvantage, but by making sure his joints were loose and he was on soft soil his steps were muted it wasn’t too bad.
Zu yawned blinking away the morning drowsiness that was still laying claim to his brain. He was proud of who he was, but a few things made him embarrassed from time to time. Still who didn’t have a few difficulties in life, it wasn’t’ like he could change who he was so he accepted it with aplomb.
Future Plots: I’d like a family RP please <3 And I want him to met Quis and her mate to put the other male’s nose out of joint since Quis is so nice and accepting her mate would likely be very jealous of Zu. XD

Future Plots: Kara will eventually go a bit mad from being able to hear the voice, but the fact that he can't see them will drive him nuts! Because everyone else will think he's nuts! NUTS!! I'm Pulling The Strings Here! Username: Peter D Hook Name of Bowl: Kugutsu - Puppet Boy or Girl?: Boy
Personality: When he's a kit, he won't really speak so much as he will make little noises. As he gets older, he will start talking, but he'll be soft-spoken unless he's passionate about a discussion.
Prompt: Two: Being part marionette and part feline has its issues, and what are they? How do you handle being different? Do you resent it, or embrace who you are?
Kugutsu laid in his bed, where he had been for about two hours now, willing his limbs to move. One of the issues he seemed to have daily was his joints locking up on him if he stopped to rest for more than a couple hours. It happened less frequently as he got older, but it was still an inconvenience. And it was even worse when it was cold out.
After another thirty minutes, Ku finally managed to move, climbing off his bed and stretching as his other joints shifted back into place. It was weird, knowing that he was also half cat, yet completely lacking in flexibility. He inherited his mother Soeri's doll-like joints, which he usually didn't mind until they locked up on him. This also proved an issue when the 'cats always land on their feet' topic came into play. Because he never landed on his feet. Another problem that came with his bone structure, or lack-thereof, was that if he fell from a high place, a limb or two would become dislocated. It hurt, sure, but to Kugutsu, is was more of an inconvenience, like them seizing up.
Kugutsu never really minded these issues. Sometimes, it made him uncomfortable, being half-marionette and half-cat. But he still loved it. It was a quirky thing that made him who he was. So, he was prone to stiff joints, and generally being unable to act like a cat at all. He smiled brightly as he trotted down the stairs to sit with his family for story time.
His strange heritage made him who he was, and he was happy with who he was. And no one could change his mind.
((Until he possibly changes his own mind when he grows up.))
Future Plots: He might grow up to be a kabuki actor, or a puppet maker. He would also desire to leave the house to find his own way in life, but he will come back to see his family very often. Kugutsu might resent the genetics from Soeri down the line if it were to mess with his work. ((The joints locking and lack of flexibility. He'd still love Soeri, of course.))

I'm Pulling The Strings Here! Username: TruthsoftheWicked Name of Bowl: 節榑 Fushikure - Knotted Wood
What's fun is that the first kanji, used for knot, can also be used for melody, stanza, tune or verse. Boy or Girl?: Girl
Personality: Soon to come
Prompt: Number Two
Soon to come
Future Plots: I'm not sure yet, I don't even have one Noodle yet, but I won a CC from Yasha so I'm just in the waiting process for now. I'll probably look over some of the RP's here before I get a concrete idea on where to go with this baby. However, the Noodle I just won is the first in a number of Youkai themed Noodles, so the Japanese names and creepy themes fit well with that.

I'm Pulling The Strings Here! Username: Zoeybird92 Name of Bowl: Nyanko Ayatsuri ningyō-shi - Kitty Puppeteer Boy or Girl?: Girl
Personality: She does her best to not let her fears get in the way and keeps a positive attitude. She tends to get a bit 'stiff' around people she doesn't know very well and is scared that her 'wooden' heart will never be able to truly love anyone.
Prompt: 2
Tired of the spooky house, Nyanko decided to follow Kora on one of her outings. Sneaking out one of the windows, Nyan practiced her stalking skills, keeping low to the ground and out of sight. She decided that she was doing very well and for a moment forgot the fact she was part puppet and that her limbs were bound to strings and controlled by fear. Her mother turned and disappeared around a corner. Nyanko edged a long the side of the nearest building and peaked around the corner. Kora had dissolved into a sea of people and Nyan slowly felt her limbs begin to stiffen. I have to get home! Turning, she hobbled as quickly as she could in the opposite direction. As she hurried, her heart beat slowed and it got harder and harder to move.
Nyanko froze and panted for air as her body quit on her and every limb turned stiff. If she didn't calm down, she wouldn't be able to get home without help. Her home loomed in the distance and for the first time she was comforted by the thought of being behind those haunted walls. Her joints began to loosen and her heart began beating again. Awkwardly making her way back, she climbed in through one of the open windows and collapsed on the ground, like a marionette tossed aside waiting for someone to correct its tangled strings. Nobody can know. I can't tell anyone about what happened. They'd just make fun of me... If her heart wasn't still wooden, she'd probably have started crying. That was the only benefit of being part puppet, no one would ever see her tears.
Future Plots: Meets someone in the future who finds her in her 'puppet' mode and doesn't take advantage of her? idk, something cute and heart warming heart

Pretty cut and dry since the kanji are literally nine and life, but it makes for a easily said and written given name. It even conforms to the traditional suffixes used for male Japanese names! Boy or Girl?: Boy
Personality: Soon to come
Prompt:

I'm Pulling The Strings Here! Username: lux_rayne13 Name of Bowl: Aoki Ai - Blue Tree Love (Ai would be like a middle name, possibly for use when in trouble) Boy or Girl?: Girl~
Personality: An absolute clown. She's the type of girl to run in circles screaming that the 'strings' are chasing her, whip around, growl the most non-threatening sound you'll ever hear, and pretend to attack said strings. She fully embraces her cat side, and has a blast embracing her puppet side… at least, when she's in the house. Outside, she's wide-eyed and fluff-tailed, and every sound makes her want to climb the nearest tree. If anyone speaks to her, she squeaks and hides under the nearest relative. She's a kind hearted goofball with a painfully shy side, and when she's not rip-roaring through the house she's reading all the latest horror novels!
Prompt: Three: You and the others get lost in the rather large house, and it's making rather horrible noises! Explain what happens during your time, and if anything spooky jumps out! How do you get back to the safe part of the house? Do the parents rescue you?
Ohhhhh yayayayayayayaaay! Aoki bounced in circles once the realization struck them: they were lost. The four kits had decided to go exploring the old house, much to Aoki's not-so-subtle suggesting, and she'd taken the lead as they marched through the hallways and through any room they found with two doors. A couple spooky things had already happened, like windows blowing open or floorboards creaking when no one was near them, and every time the kits ran Aoki once again led the way, claiming she knew how to get back to the part of the house they knew. Of course, this is how they ended up lost. Her three siblings were giving her the evil eye, but Aoki was grinning ear to ear. Oh this was so much fun!!! "Oh, get the splinters out of your tails, this is an adventure! I mean we ain't that lost, we're still in the house… somewhe---" She let her last word tail off, and her eyes grew wide. "GHOST!!!" She shrieked, and bolted down a hallway. The other three were right on her heels, and Aoki tried to keep a frightened face. She turned a corner and moved to bolt into a room, but suddenly the door slammed shut in her face! With a squeak, she tried the other side of the hall, and this time a chair flew past the doorway! Looking around with wild eyes, she pointed down another hall. "This way!" The kits skittered after Aoki, and more noises and bangs and whistles of wind followed their every step. Before long, they came to a dead end. Well, sort of. There were two doors on either side… but shrieks and groans seemed to be coming from behind them both! And going back didn't look like an option either, as they all knew thats where the ghosts were! "Ok, ok… Ok I got us into this mess, so I'm gonna get us out." Aoki clapped a fist into her palm. "I'm trying the right door! And if y'all hear me a-yelling, try the right door!" Seeing the looks of horror on her siblings faces, she took a deep breath. "Ok. I goofed. We're trapped. But we gotta try something… so if I don't make it and y'all do…" She swallowed and shook her head. "I love you guys." And with that, Aoki faced the door, grabbed the knob, and with a scream of "GHOSTBUSTERS!!!" She threw herself in the room, slamming the door behind her.
In the hall, the kits would hear screams, bangs, glass shattering and ghostly wails. They would hear Aoki screaming for them to run, to get away, to go through the other door. And upon following her request, they would find themselves… in a commons room that was as familiar as the back of their hands.
And soon after, a doubled-over laughing Aoki would follow them in, tears in her eyes and looking like she just had the time of her life. "YOU GUYS!! AHAHAHAAA shoulda seen your faces!~" With all eyes glaring at Aoki's face, no one would see her tail waving though the not-quite shut door at the little boy, laughing and waving behind her in the hallway~
Future Plots: ALL OF DEM. Possibly. I'd love to see this girl find someone to help her be herself out in the real world, outside the house. I'd love to see her helping the dead dealing with the fact that they are dead. And I'd really love to see her stay close with her mom, and good friends with the boy that secretly lives with them~
