
How awkward he felt around them. He truly did... and yet some of the voices in his head told him that he should just stay near them, to try to learn from them...Others asked him what they'd sound like if he bit them like he'd bitten Dead Eye's mother... he didn't much care for those thoughts. Glancing over his shoulder, he met the too-calm gaze of his avian companion, and, noting his slight shivering, the totoma rose, and moved closer to the fire.

The blood-spattered buck had moved closer. It was so very rare... that the disturbing buck with the skeletal bird... joined them by the fire. The kin slowly quieted, and they focused on him, curious... Drawing near, Free offered him some of her berries, a little nervous. Turning his yellow gaze upon the doe, he seemed to smile, before taking them quietly.
