anyone else think its kinda funny that all these HP themed parks and what not are being built in america?

I might be going here in about 2 months or so. 3nodding I've never been down there personally, but I've had lots of friends that have and they said it was a blast heart

Skadi Sundermount anyone else think its kinda funny that all these HP themed parks and what not are being built in america? I know! We should totally have it in London! Even Scotland, where Hogwarts is presumed to be! It seems silly that JK Rowling was demanding british actors to play the parts yet when it came to the theme park, she just said 'Meh, all yours Warner!'

I did not put that together, that it's in Orlando which means it's in Florida.
...Right?

I don't exactly live there, but for some reason I thought it was in like Californa or something.
Which is very veeeery far from here sweatdrop

That wont be happening for e for a while. it coast almost 10k for flights there and back, accommodation car rental etc. Quite expensive to get to the states from new zealand

i haven't been there yet but i really want to go..i did hear about the expansion last year and i want to wait to visit after it happens...but when exactly is it going to happen? they haven't started yet, have they?

I'd like to got there if I ever visit the States, but wouldn't go to a place that far away only for visiting a theme park. But there's also the studio tour, and it's not that far away from my "home" area in England wink

I still stand by the Wizarding World should have been in the UK. -.- Indeed... not interested enough in theme parks to travel too far even if it is HP-related, but still wouldn't mind to have something like this closer than in Orlando. And HP is as British as anything can be, and even the few things that aren't British are at least European.
