CMC pegasus Soaring high above the clouds one single Pegasus stared down before swooping through the clouds down the the castle
".....hrmmm...seems relatively safe....a few more adults and we could lead an expedition out here for the crusaders....see if any members would want to find their talent in the discovery of the past...."

The rope bridge instantly made Rex start to reconsider his decision. The little pony might have had no issue crossing but Rex didn't think it would hold up against his weight. Rex hesitated at the edge of the bridge.
"Hold your hors-" Rex stopped mid sentence as he realised that particular saying didn't work as well with his present company. Slowly and carefully the Diamond Dog made his way across the bridge. Ever step was sheer terror as the rickety rope bridge swayed back and forth; and the boards creaked and bent ever so slightly with every step. Thankfully; almost as if blessed by Celestia herself, Rex made it across the bridge unscathed.
"Sweet sweet ground." Rex muttered to himself as he patted the dirt he stood on gently before standing up straight, well as straight as a Diamond Dog stands typically, and looking at the large castle before them. At least it looked more stable than that accursed bridge.OOC: And now Rex has a fear of heights; yay~.

CMC pegasus zooming about until he was halted by the odd sight of a filly with a large dog. he had never before seen a diamond dog so he didnt know what he really was and assumed he was just a friend. Flapping twice Modsiw landed in front of them both before noticing a lack of a certain mark on somepony's flank
"well would you look at that....I am guessing you are one of the CMC members....I really didnt expect any of the crusaders to come here until AFTER I came back with the all clear"

occupation: none, currently in school ((out of Character smile ) light fire smiled as she tilted her head to one side, giggling slightly. "your funny." she said as she got up and turned trotting toward the ruins. stopping when Modsiw landed in front of them. "im not actually a member yet... hold that thought." she said as she trotted past him reaching the door. she began to push on the door trying to open it with all her might, but to no avail, she wasn't strong enough. giving up she turned to Modsiw and rex. "could somepony help me?" she asked as she stood there waiting. general shino XD now you caught me in mid post

Oh great another pony; they weren't going to start coming out of the woodwork now were they? Rex eyed the little winged pony, at least this one didn't let out a shriek at the sight of him like the other had. Rex's little purple 'friend' seemed to be having trouble with a door, so much that she asked for 'somepony's' help. Rex couldn't help but wonder why she said that instead of someone or somebody; it'd be like Rex referring to himself as 'somedog' which just sounded ridiculous.
Without a word Rex walked up to the large doors that lay in the entrance way of the ruins. He placed his hands on the door and pushed. The stuck door was no match for Rex's brute strength and quickly gave way. Dust and small debris fell from the doorframe as it slowly swung open.
"Ta-dah." Rex said rather unenthusiastically as he finished pushing the door open.OOC: Rex the almighty door opener!

CMC pegasus "not a member?....hrmm....that is odd....I thought that almost ever pony in equestria without a cutie mark was in the crusaders....."
he chuckled and turned to follow revealing his blank flanks which was rather odd seeing he was easily twice as old as she was.
"and the dog?....where did he come from?"

I've actually been trying to join for about a year and a half now, but when I go over there they burst out on some big adventure." she said before trotting through the door. looking at all the old relics she trotted over to the thrones to get a closer look. "actually I just met him in the forest, and he is a diamond dog, not just some normal dog." she said as if it was some big deal, mostly because she considered Rex a friend, even though they just met. general shino XD now you caught me in mid post

Rex froze up as the little filly suddenly and unexpectedly hugged him; he honestly had no idea how to react to this. Mostly he was just confused, all he did was open a door which wasn't exactly praise worthy let alone grounds for a hug. Again; ponies are confusing. Also, Diamond Dogs didn't really give out many hugs. He looked over towards the winged pony, deciding to answer the question himself.
"I think you ponies call the place I come from Rambling Rock Ridge or something; not that it's important." Rex said before turning back to look into the interior of the ruins, "So... what're you looking for again?"OOC:

CMC pegasus "um...diamond dog?....is that like a crystal pony?...he doesnt look shiny...."
listening to Rex's explanation he just gave an "ah" and continued with them
"well.....if you really want in....I suppose I can extend a membership offer....I am actually the oldest member.....my job is to help the young find and earn their cutie marks...."

occupation: none, currently in school ((out of Character smile ) light fire had been looking up and down the thrones for about five minutes when suddenly the ground shook as a passage opened between the thrones. "HA, found it." she said as she trotted down the hidden pathway. poking her head out, which looked like she stuck her head out of the floor, from rex and Modsiw's perception, looked at them rather impatiently. "Come on the treasure room isn't far from here!" she said as she went back into the pathway. luckily she had found this passage last time she came here

"Crystal pony... I'm not even sure what to think of that." Rex mused to himself. His ears perked up at the sound of 'treasure room'. Now that was more like it. Rex grinned as he walked forwards towards the passage. Perhaps crossing that hellish rope bridge will have actually been worth it. Rex momentarily got a sinking feeling in his gut as he realised he would have to cross it again to leave. He was not looking forward to that. He came to the edge of the passageway leading down and paused for a moment before beginning to head down them.OOC:
