"hmph...I can't believe the train is full all I wanted to do was go home and relax" He said to himself trotting off the beaten path(not in a very quiet manner either)."Might as well enjoy myself well I'm here, I heard the Everfree forest was a cool place to see" he claimed. Just then his ears perked up in the way of a sound."Is that a voice" he asked himself and started to wander in the direction of the voice.

Bursting through the brush to meet head on with a rock floating in front of him, stopping suddenly, "whoa, a pony goes there, a pony" he said softly as he cowered a little from the rock being held in front of him. "I was just wondering what the sound from over here was , I didn't mean any harm, I'm sorry" he said even softer pulling a leaf in front of him.

Night hawk looked back, the others were still on his tail. he had been running for several hours now and was starting to feel exhausted. "don't loose him, he will answer for what he has done." one of his pursuers said. they were getting close Hawk new this for sure, but he couldn't give up and so summoning up what little energy he had left he made a dream scape version of himself and made it go left, as he went right, jumping into the bushes. his pursuers luckly followed the fake giving a moments rest for his fast beating heart. "few lost them, but now were do I go?" he said to himself as he immerged from the bushes onto the dirt path were he began to run again, but at a slower pace then before, he needed to conserve energy but still wanted to put as much space between him and the others. looking back to make sure he wasn't being followed, he bumped right into Nis, and quite literally falling down into the ground with Nis right under him. "oops, ahh, sorry day dweller." he said as he got up and, using magic, helped Nis up. "I really need to watch were I'm going, I'm real sorry about that." he said bowing at Nis, which was custom when apologizing for him, and all children of night.

with an oof he frowned. he had heard the oncoming pony but figured he would be a little more like this one and not so clumbsy
"....day?....I think you are mistaken....and....oh my..."
his horn glowed lighty and his eyes seemed to show interest
".....you have quite something interesting....who is giving chase?...."
he strained for just a moment and raised a large shield over the area just to keep out those chasing night hawk
"....and what exactly did you do to warrant such a chase?"

"....I have a much better idea....and you still got it wrong....I dont much like the light....the night is much better....more privacy and more quiet...lots better..."
he chuckled and dropped the shield before his magic flared. out of his bag came three small glass beakers corked tight with red bubbly liquid flowing through them.
"HALT!....By royal decree this pony is hereby under my protection I am the head of research in the royal canterlot military."
the bushes flattened and even trees shuttered as he stared down at those who were giving case
"...if you refuse my orders it is the same as an attack upon me and I will defend myself...these beakers are for the local farms...they contain a small volcanic eruption to burn away last years crops and and spread volcanic ash into the soil...unless you want to be nothing but fertile soil right here and now...stand down...."
his magic bubbled ready to attack. it was almost disturbing to see how he was so willing to use it so quickly.

"HOLD IT!....I just saved you....and there is a reason for that....dont just walk off....."
Nis growled.
"....goodness...you were just going to run off bleh....and why do your kind always call me sun dweller...just because I am not of your culture doesnt mean I dont do everything your people do...goodness....obnoxious brats...the whole lot of them..."
he cleared his throat coming closer to hawk peeking back at the other pony then back at hawk. his beakers going back into his pack
"...ahem....tell me exactly what they accused you of and then exactly what you actually did.....I was not kidding when I said I was head of the royal research division..."
he smiled knowing the unicorn had something very good about him. Nis was very eager to see what it was and if he or his research could benefit from it.

"I know the legend..I just dont ....you know...care....I am not one of the descendants of those few but I am most definitely not of the day. and so.....they think you are an attempted murderer?.....I had so hoped it had something to do with your magic.....I can feel that power....and it intrigues me...if you come with me....and allow me to study that power of yours...I will do my best to try and clear all this nonsense up...I might even be able to wake that pony form her coma...though no promises....what do you say young one?"
he smiled uprooting a plant on the far side of their clearing and putting it in his pack as well
