How does one calculate how much star magic damages an enemy? I know fire, wind, and ice have meters next to the enemy but not star. How is the damage calculated? surprised

star magic is non elemental, therefore the fire/ice/wind resistance/weaknesses do not apply to it. So basically it's your INT versus thier RES

Ah, the infamous Star magic. The first level variant kind of reminds me of Magic Missle from Dungeons and Dragons. whee And, the "Magic of the ancient ones" comment makes me think of some band like Bal Sagoth - even the imagery fits. whee

i loov star magic, it's sooo awesome, except for the fact that it is slightly more expensive and requires higher levels to attain higher ranked spells than other elements.

Star magic is usually used for monsters or boss's with the 0 effect on the element chart.

The bad thing is, you can't exploit any weakness with star magic. This is very troublesome against cyclops/guardians, who have massive defense and resistance.
