after the train ride, which Razor had slept through most of it, Razor slowly got off the train. holding his shoulder pad in his mouth, having removed it to sleep, he trotted up to a bench. his eyes caught the crystal of the building which confused him. he trotted over to the crystal structure and taped it with his right hoof, making a light ding sound. "wow, that is impressive..." he muttered as he was transfixed by the building.

As the many other ponies were departing the train, including more than a few crystal ponies, so too did a blue unicorn adorned in a slightly worn, but still stark-white, sundress and brimmed hat, as well as a pair of relatively large saddlebags for her frame on either side of her and, contrastly, a single-edged short-sword along her back. As she exited the car, a sign escaped her lips, as if to show she was slightly exhausted, before looking towards her destination.
Before she departed onwards, though, a curious young man caught her attention with the chime of one the crystalline statue within the station. "*Är det inte det, men?" she replied to his fascination. "This statue is to commemorate Silver Hooves, who spearheaded the trade-routes of this empire with other countries, and even further so when trains were becoming more and more popular." After her explanation, the mare gently nudged on the young male and pointed to another train that was getting ready to depart, this one apeparing to be made entirely out of crystals, or perhaps colored glass. "Of course, their craft has only improved since then." It soon became apparent that she didn't realize the other two that were accompanying the what was assumed to be child.

"oh, just looking, this place sure is cool looking." he said answering echo, though faintly hearing Iron. he didn't have time to acknowledge him when he nearly yelped, feeling a nudge that came from heart. quickly turning, he could feel his heart racing. "oh, that's neat." Razor said with an embarrassed smile. "samen trekken, je bent een deel van de koninklijke wacht, dus doen alsof het" he muttered under his breath. he had learned dutch as a young colt, and was rather glad that it finally came in handy when he didn't want anypony to know what he was saying. shaking his head, he put down his golden shoulder plate and gave a smile. "im Razor blade, under the command of shining armor in the royal guard, and you are?" he said rising an eyebrow studding the mare intently. {boy does she know her stuff, maybe I should have hired her to teach me instead of having to read all those books last night...} he thought as he looked at Iron surprisingly. "IRON?!?" he said, not expecting him to be here.

"gee thanks for noticing....though...I dont quite blame you...." he took a bow with a warm smile. judging by her sword and words she knew quality when she saw it. this was more than intriguing to him and she was a lovely shade of blue to boot. "what brings a lovey filly like yourself to the crystal empire?"
I blink, tilting my head towards the two new voices. I frown. Didn't he say he had no friends? The one stallion sounded like he knew him... and then the filly... she was new. The tone said so. Makes me wonder.. why I agreed to this. I have no idea what they were talking about. I take a seat, waiting. I was new to this area.. even with my sounds.. it wasn't like I could read a sign.

Having the younger introduce himself as a guardsman took the blue mare back a bit. "A soldier boy? Starting them younger and younger, I guess" she mused teasingly, taken even further aback from the advances of his apparent colleague.
"I am Heart Darling, Canterlot's Clock Mare" the mare finally introduced before shooting a slight glare at Iron Stud. "And I am here on Business. Even the most expertly crafted items break from time to time, and my wares are no exclusion." As she spoke, she magically pulled out a mostly built small clock from her bags: It was clearly missing a few gears, as well as a face, but still retained the trademark of her cutie mark as part of its inner workings. "And, if I happen to sell a few clocks and watches while I'm here, all the better." Out of the corner of her eye, Heart took notice of another figure, that she assumed seemed distressed. "Pardon me for a moment" she said politely as she approached Echo Chime, all the while gently placing the clock back where it originated.
"Excuse me" Heart said calmly, to further alert the third, adding on with sincerity "Is everything alright?
"ah...another creator....I am here on business too....I am the blacksmith for royal army....well not part of them...just friends with this guy" he gave razor a nudge "...but Im here to learn the arts around crystal forging..." he smiled but frowned a little as she excused herself to go talk to the other stallion. "goodness...she is a beautiful one....and ...was that panic I saw in you razor...." he chuckled teasing at his friend. "....another crafter... witty and shes beautiful....maybe celestia and luna do make dreams come true.." he chuckled

when razor heard hearts comment he went into a defensive stance, raising a hoof. "HEY, whats that sappose to mean?" he said as he let out a humph sound. "only reason i landed this job was because of the changeling attack a few years ago..." he said as he rolled his eyes, turning to Iron. "well I didn't expect you to be here, and besides, I thought I told you I would bring you what you needed to learn, im not helpless." razor said in a teasing sort of way as he hoofed iron on the shoulder, just enough to make it sore for a few seconds. he then picked up his shoulder pad and put it on in one simple motion, smiling as he looked over the mare. "and if you ask me..." he started, leaning over to irons ear he gave a mischievous grin. "i think she would look hotter with out the dress." he said in a hushed tone so only iron could hear. "then again, I think you two would make a perfect couple." he said as he backed away starting to laugh. he hoped he could make iron blush, cause it was one thing he had never seen iron do. "anyhoof, I don't need to report to the castle for another 3 hours, how about we all travel as a group and tour the city to kill some time." he said with a big smile. of course there was one food razor wanted to try, which was their crystal corn, he even brought a hoof to his chin as he thought of what it might look like. 18
"not very gentlecolty today.....and if so...then that would be a grand thing....I have never found that special somepony....perhaps....well..we would just have to see...and you keep forgetting how much more composed I am..." he let out a soft chuckle "..you cant get me with such a ploy.....though keep trying...Im sure you will push my buttons some day..." he hoofed him back and followed at a slow trot hoping that the new mare would come with them

I blinked, looking up towards her direction. I huff a bit. "I'm fine. Just not what I was expecting was all. Razor asked me to come along.. said he didn't have a friend.. but he does.. from the sound of it. Makes me wonder why I bothered to come."

After hearing of Echo's distress, Heart Darling peered over at the other pair and simply smiled. "Guardsmen always have friends" she began, taking the seat on the bench next to him. "Eventually, they will risk their lives together, perhaps even for each other. A close friend of mine taught me that a bit of fraternizing as a soldier goes a long way in motivation." As she spoke, Heart gently nudged Echo, as if she was still trying to cheer him up. "Inside their duties, they're friends, but outside, they would be more like colleagues, or co-workers. They have a difficult job, and are just trying to make it easier for each other."
From Razor Blade's offer, Heart Darling turned her attention towards him and gave a nod in response. "Bien sûr, a wonderful idea. My destination is also the palace, oddly enough, however more than likely a different wing entirely" she replied as she stood. "I can pull a favor at many of the higher-end restaurants, if it's food you're craving. *Kucharz Króla makes the best crepes I have ever tasted."
