The Captain finished his snowball. He spotted a trainer that was a little further from him - didn’t want to hurt anyone by throwing it too close! He pulled his arm back and launched the snowball towards them.
“Now have fun, play nice, no head-shots, and I’ll be watching from the sidelines!” He sprinted away, up the hill to avoid being hit by any flying snow. “Last one standing wins this HootHoot!”

You have until 8pm EST on Feb 7th, to sign up! After sign-ups are closed, I will announce the start of the round, which will last another 24 hours or until there is one person standing. The winner of 2/3 rounds wins the Hoothoot. If there are three different winners, it will go to a randomizer.
Beginning story, if you missed it: You exit the cabin after the Captain has finished talking to the group. Once outside, you either make a snow-poke and enter his little contest, go to the lake for ice fishing or ice skating, or finally arrive here on the side of the cabin for some sled racing! Rounding the corner a very lovely hill comes into view, perfect for sledding, except...There's a bit of a mess at the bottom.

Zak followed the directions to find where these races were going to be held. When he arrived he spotted quite a scene at the bottom of the hill. Concerned for the dragonite that seemed to be stuck on its back, who seems to be on a pile of sleds, Zak ran over to the poor creature. "Pearl!" he called out as he knelled next to the dragonite "You alright?" he questioned her. His eyes quickly scanning the dragonite's form, noting the stains upon her hands and mouth.

Alexa wandered around for a bit trying to find the place where the sled races were held at. She finally found the place by following her Houndoom. She was greeted to the sight of Pearl laying on some sleds and another trainer knelling by her. She rushed over and looked at Zak and then Pearl. "Is she okay? And what is all over her?" She asked. She didn't mention the sleds, only hoped that there were some that weren't broken.

Sunny ran over and stopped to look at the poor creature. "Pearl.." it looked like she was bleeding. "We need to stop her bleeding." she said as she got to the Pokemon's side and started to look over its paws to see if the blood was fresh or not. "Wait scratch that we need to get her inside before she freezes to death." Sunny was not sure how a dragon Pokemon would freeze to death in the snow but she knew being hurt in the snow was not two things that should be together. She tried to think of how to get the pokemon inside Grim would not be able to carry her.
The snow is stained red, the body of a huge creature at the bottom of the hill. Immediately, you think the worst. There was no way this trip wasn't going to have some sort of horrible disaster! Rushing down to see if everything is alright, the scene of a Dragonite covered in berry juice unfolds. It appears as though it were snacking on a lot of juicy berries, tripped, and fell down the hill, crushing the sleds meant for the sled races. No foul play, no Rockets. Just an unfortunate accident.
The Captain comes down, ready to relay some races, only to see his precious Dragonite in the wreckage. "Pearl!" He cries. "Are you alright? Oh, look at the mess you've made..." The large golden dragon pokemon stumbled to it's feet, and rubs the back of her head with a sticky paw. "Dragon, dragonite." The Captain surveys the state of the sleds. He smiled, “Glad you’re okay. He sighed and looked down at the pile of wood. "Damn. Gonna have to pay for the damages, and now the races are ruined..." Pearl rubbed the back of her head sheepishly. “Best keep you in your pokeball and get you healed, Pearl.” The Captain said and returned his pokemon. He turns to the three trainers that gathered there. “Thank you all for your concern! I probably wouldn’t have come over here right away if I hadn’t seen you all…But now what to do for some fun!”
His face was overcome with some brilliant idea. “Worry not! I have an idea!” The Captain said, bending down to some snow on the ground, scooping it, and began to form a snow ball….
“SNOW BALL FIGHT!”

Alexa was relieved to see that Pearl wasn't hurt, just covered in berry juice. "Glad that she's alright. Although it is too bad about the sleds. Farvardin and I were looking forward to it." She said with a small sigh.
Hearing the Captain's idea to make up for it she bent down to scoop up some snow. She began to make a snowball and looked at Farvardin. "You may want to go to the sidelines." She said. She frowned slightly when the Houndoom shook her head. Apparently she wanted to play too.

Remmy Was late like always. He was late to wake up and it seem like the game was going to begin and he wanted to play! He didn't play in snow alot so this was going to be fun. "Wait for me! WAIT! I wanna play!" He yell out as he ran to them. He huff and puff when he came up to the old man. " *huff* Sorry for being late! Can i play?" he said with a wheeze. Snowball fight? Count me in!

Sunny Sighed it was just berry juice hoe did she miss that. She felt like an idiot for that mistake. She turned and looked at Mr Grim who was laughing at her. "You know a snow ball fight does not sound that bad to me." She moved and created a snow ball. Mr grim wondered what she was doing he did not understand why someone would hold the snow.

Fed up with her luck with fishing, Lennyka arrived on the scene of the sled races to find out a little predicament had stunted the activity only to revive another. "Snowball fight?" the off-duty Rocket grunt tilted her head at Daffodil, who now sported a periwinkle turtleneck sweater. "Wanna give it a go, Daff?"
"Rai!" the Electric-type agreed.
Joining the others who had given their confirmation to the game, Lennyka prodded a thumb to the middle of her chest and smiled. "We'd like to join as well!" she proclaimed aloud to the captain.

Zak was quite relieved as well to see that Pearl hadn't been injured. He was looking forward to sled racing, but a snowball fight sounded interesting as well. He wouldn't play for the hoothoot as he had no need for one, all he wanted to do was bond a bit better with Flora, maybe get her out of her usual of water gunning every flying pokemon she saw.
Zak let the Seadra out of its pokeball. "Alright Flora, ready to play a bit. You will be good at this! he told the water pokemon.

Okay. Sleigh ride was not going to be happening. Lex looked out at the wreckage of the sleds, the bloody, berry juice? covered Dragonite and gave a slight grin. Snowball fight? Now this, this could be good.
He scooped up the snow, packing it in tight and rolled it in his palms, making a ball. This was not what he was expecting, but this would be good. Hollin was keeping in his poke ball though. The tiny cottonee didn't need to be sunk in a snow bank.

Jack had only left to scout out the area a few minutes before when he turned to the side of the cabin and saw a downed pokemon and a lot of red. Surprised the teen paused his eyes widened and he felt panic starting to creep up on he as he looked at what looked like a good amount of blood. Trying to take a step back he slipped and tumbled his way down to the bottom of the hill. He was relived to find find that the pokemon was covered in berry juice and it was not a large amount of blood like he thought.
It took a moment for the teen to be able to pull himself up after his panic induced tumble down the hill. He took a few shaky breaths before realizing he had fallen into the start of snowball fight. The raven haired teen sighed, it didn't look like he had a choice but to play now. It would seem weird for him to just leave right before the game started. Gathering snow Jack reluctantly created a snowball. The fact that the games prize was a pokemon interested the teen. It would be a fun game to play even if he didn't win right?

Chris ate her burger as she ran to the sledding event. She finished eating it and saw the same Dragonite that pulled their sleigh. Only this time she was covered in red liquid. She quickly asked around about what had happened and calmed down after getting some answers. "Guess sledding will have to take place some other time then."
She bent down to scoop up some snow in-between her gloves and made a snowball out of it.
Chris walked back and forth and looked around the place to see how many players there were.
Over there, not too far away, she noticed Lex and waved at him again. She ran over and greeted him. "Hi. Guess we're in for a snowball fight huh? This should be fun. Funner than the wild safari sleigh ride." she grinned at him and took some distance between him and all the players. Chris really didn't want to get hit in the face, hard, at close range. Or she would be a total drama queen about it.
"Looks like it. I haven't been in a snow ball fight in ages." He finished packing his snow ball and looked at Chris. "Till the last one standing." He switched the snowball to his other hand and held out a fist to be bumped. "Want to work together to take out the competition?"
