The hat nearly sorted her into Ravenclaw but decided on Hufflepuff in the end.
Both her parents died when she was young. She has an uncle on her father's side who is no longer allowed near her, and for good reason.
Her mother was muggle-born and her father was a pure-blood.
She's not very sporty, but she doesn't mind watching the games
Evangeline was born to very loving parents who were also talented when it came to magic. Her mother, who used to call her Eva, was a stay at home mom while her father worked at the ministry as an auror. On one mission of his, he was sent out to bring in a wizard that had been causing trouble in Ireland. The ministry lost contact with him and when they sent another auror to find him, his body was discovered where they believed the dark wizard had been hiding. The loss of her husband took a severe toll on Evangeline's mother and she died three months later. Many say the cause was a broken heart. Evangeline was only three at the time. Now an orphan, she was sent to the only family she had left; her father's brother. Her life took a turn for the worst while with him. She was forced to be his personal slave, like a house elf. She would clean the house, do his laundry, make his meals. And when her work did not satisfy him, he punished her. He abused Evangeline in more ways than one but they are too disgustingly horrible to describe. Evangeline lived with the suffering, seeing no way out, until a neighbor noticed the marks on the little skin she exposed and reported it to the ministry. Her uncle was taken and put on trial before sentenced to jail. That same year, Evangeline received her letter from Hogwarts and she started her education as a witch. Hogwarts is the one place she really feels safe anymore. Back at the orphanage she now lived in, she still fears her uncle will escape and find her, abuse her like he used to.
Because of her dark past, Evangeline has trouble trusting anyone, especially men. Her greatest fear is intimacy and letting anyone too close. She is very timid and shy and has been taught never to speak unless given permission so she often keeps her mouth shut. The only time she ever feels comfortable is when she is reading a book. Over the years, she has built up a barrier to keep people that might hurt her out. However, if you try hard enough, you may be able to break it down and she might learn to trust again. She really is a sweet and loving girl, though her past has lead her to act distant and fearful.

Head of Gryffindor House, Transfigutations professor, 31 years old
He used to play but hasn't in a long time
Archer was born into a family of wizards so magic was all he knew growing up. Gryffindors run in his family so it was no surprise when he was sorted into the house. He quickly took a liking to Hogwarts, like most do, and especially became fond of Quidditch. In his second year, he was given the position Chaser and did wonderfully in the sport. He also did well in his classes and was one of the top students in Transfiguration. His school career was great since he was popular and smart, but it improved even more when he met the love of his live in his seventh year. After a game against Hufflepuff, he bumped into her on his way back to the castle. She was the seeker for the Hufflepuff team and he complimented her on her performance. They started talking afterwards and he eventually scored a date with her. Her name was Natalia and their relationship quickly blossomed into a romance that still contunues today. After leaving Hogwarts, he briefly persued a career as a professional quidditch player, but after suffering a bludger hit that resulted in a near fatal fall, a broken leg, and a concussion, he decided to retire and go into teaching. He secured a career as a professor at Hogwarts and proposed soon after to his beloved Natalia. They married and she is now Headmistress of Hogwarts. Together, they brighten the minds of the next generation. He hopes someday that they will have a baby and start a family, but until then, he will settle for the company of the students he teaches.
Archer is a Gryffindor through and through. He is very brave, refusing to cower or back down in the face of danger. He stands up for his believes and his loved ones, especially his wife. As a professor, he is fair but firm. Its best not to get on his bad side unless you want to face his wrath. Outside the classroom, he's a genuinely nice guy who likes cracking jokes. He is also very romantic when he and his wife finally get some time alone. He loves treating her to whatever he can and knows that nothing is too good for her. He also knows how lucky he us to be with her.

Cicily "Cici" Stiles

Cici has a mother and a father as well as two older brothers who have already graduated Hogwarts.
Cici's home has always been filled with magic. Coming from a long line of purebloods, her powers came out earlier than usual and her mother started training her. Both her mother and father were Ravenclaws so she was always pressured to be in the house as well, especially since her brothers were placed there too. Luckily, when she finally went to Hogwarts, she was sorted into the house of the intellegent and her parents couldn't be more proud. Of course, she had a lot to live up to. Her brothers were top students and the oldest was head boy. She has always been a natural at magic so studying isn't something she really needs but she always enjoys reading. Unlike many Ravenclaws, she is a big fan of partying and since she doesn't have to spend hours studying to get her good grades, she spends her time with friends instead. She has always been a social butterfly and loves to fly for her house team. She hopes that she'll be able to match her brothers' accomplishments and possibly surpass them. All she wants is to make her parents proud while also making herself happy.
Cici has always been a quick learner and has an amazing memory that she inherited from her mother. She is a social bookworm who loves hanging out with her friends and partying. She isn't the kind to flaunt her knowledge like her brothers did, knowing it can be very annoying. Her usual sweetness makes her easy to get along with but she isn't one to take anyone's crap. If you give her reason to hate you, she will and you'll know.

He has a mother, father, and a younger sister.
Tobias' father had always had an interest in muggles. In fact, that was how his parents met, while his father was researching muggles. The two fell in love quickly and married after a mere year of dating. After their wedding, his father told his mother he was a wizard and though she was shocked at first, things seemed to work out well. They had Tobias two years into their marriage and gave him all their attention without a problem. They loved their son very much and still do. His father raised him in preparation of Hogwarts, knowing he would be a wizars soon enough. He taught him quidditch and a few simple spells as well as a potion. Tobias loved his lessons with his father though his mother feared they might end up hurting themselves. Tobias wasnt an only child of course. His parents also had a little girl after him. He quickly came to love his sister and has a good relationship with her still even when they get on each others nerves. The day he received his letter for Hogwarts was probably the best of his life and was followed by five great years. He made many friends in his first year, including one named Viktoria. He came to really like her though it took a lot to get her to let him in. In fact, in his fourth year, he developed a crush on her. He knew he shouldn't feel that way especially when she had already told him how she felt about love. He couldn't help it though, the heart wanted what it couldn't have. Now that time has passed, he is no longer crushing on her, but there are still remnants of deeper feelings in his heart.
Tobias is your average Gryffindor. He is very chivalrous and kind and not afraid to stand up for himself and his friends. His natural athleticism makes Quidditch a breeze and schoolwork comes pretty easily too. Like his parents, he falls in love quickly and hard. Because of this, heartbreak can take him a while to get over but eventually he does.
